Several years ago I bought a pre-owned Subaru Outback and have slowly come to realize that the unique quirks that accompany this brand of car require someone with a specialized knowledge of how to work on Subarus. After a few frustrating experiences with non-Subaru mechanics, I decided to take my Outback to Subi West for several issues--one with the battery, the engine stalling after abrupt braking, and a routine replacement of the headlights.I was immediately struck by Subi West s friendly and personable staff and was able to get my car in within only 2 days. The shop owner/main mechanic, Jaime, is quite possibly the most friendly, professional, and honest person I ve ever encountered in the automotive industry. He is detailed and thorough in all aspects of his work. Jaime clearly has extensive knowledge and experience working on Subarus (based only on my description of the braking issue he had an excellent idea about what was causing it, although he still did an exhaustive investigation into the problem before reporting back to me). He was extremely forthcoming about the cost of labor and repairs (which were very reasonable) for all work that needed to be done, and not only did he thoroughly explain the issue/repairs necessary in easy-to-understand terminology, but he also kept me frequently updated via phone calls about the progress and expected completion of the job. I left Subi West feeling extremely positive about the whole experience and am grateful to have found my new go-to mechanic for all my Subaru needs. I can t recommend Subi West and Jaime enough!--UPDATE: Despite initially fixing the issue with my car s battery, the problem recurred several weeks later. I called Subi West and Jaime immediately had me bring my car in. He diligently and patiently took time to re-investigate the issue and was able to find the solution and fix it, at no additional charge to me! That kind of dedication to his craft and customer service excellence is precisely why I adore Jaime and won t be taking my Outback anywhere else from now on!

Have a Subaru outback and have been having some issues with it. Had taken it to two other places and felt like wasn t getting results. Subi West gave me a fair price, fixed the issue and was extremely professional. Nice clean shop, great service!!!

I have much love for SubiWest after the amazing help I got here. I was stressing over my axels needing repair and I was bracing for the hit to my wallet. But, Jaime at SubiWest actually took the time to check my warranty and the whole repair didn't cost me a penny. Seriously, I couldn't believe it. He could've easily not bothered, but he did, and it saved me a bunch of money. Anyone driving a Subaru should keep SubiWest in mind. Honest, skilled, and they actually look out for you. Big thanks from a very happy customer!

The service at Subi West is fantastic, Jaime is knowledgeable, quick, and professional. I had quite a few things I needed done in my older Subaru, but the turnaround time was still really fast. So great to have a Subaru focused repair shop to depend on and trust for great service! I have to say that this place is my new go to for all my car service needs! Jaimie showed me the best customer service, made me feel like my car was a priority! He was honest& not once tried to get over on me like other shops have in the past. I went in for an oil change hoping my car would pass smog . I shared with him my concerns so he offered to look over my vehicle after completing the oil change. Shortly after he stated I was good to go, handed me my receipt along with my smog confirmation as Pass ! He brought tears to my eyes , because it was a genuine feeling of kindness, honesty &professionalism ! Thank You!!

Very pleased with the honest service and pricing on my repairs. I had an oil leak in 2 places and the cost was lower than what the dealer would charge and there were no unnecessary extras to the quote. Will be back for any other repairs or maintenance in the future.

I took my WRX in to Subi West to fix a rattle that had been driving me crazy. I thought I knew what the problem was based on my own diagnosis. Subi West also found another issue that I wasn't aware of and was contributing to the rattle, which they showed me and then fixed. I definitely appreciate the thoughtfulness and thoroughness of their work. Pricing was very reasonable. They were really easy to work with, much easier than the dealer. Overall, a great experience. I'll definitely be back for all my Subi service.
