I love this place.. every time I come in they are so nice and friendly and super detailed about what s going on with my car, I feel they are always very transparent and are not just trying to get money from you or take advantage of you..cars are stressful as is but this place is the best for peace of mind knowing your car is in great hands!Also Alex is the best! Thank you so much for always being honest and upfront about my car problem

As a guy who has worked on cars professionally for 8 years and for fun the last 20 years I can say this shop holds itself to a higher stander. I was unable to get my oil changed here due to the drain plug being over torqued by folsom Glenn carwash and lube but they checked everything. Best thing is they take photos to prove it, as a shop guy myself I know if someone doesn't believe you you take a photo or video. Theses guys are on full display to prove they are truly the best. I hope any shop guys like me who are wondering who to trust try these guys out, it's worth it.

My first visit was for ac service. I'd been previously told there was a leak and I was prepared for that. Charles told me the leak was minimal and not worth stressing over. They charged the system and I left. This visit I described symptoms of what I thought was a failing alternator. I was correct. Charles once again was able to get me in same day and provided me with a Lyft home. My 06 Tacoma is purring like a kitten once again. I will continue to come here as they are up front and very thorough with the services they provide. I'm super chatty and it's really easy to stand and talk to Charles I feel bad distracting him from work. Lol the facilities are clean and well maintained. I was perfectly willing to sit and wait for my truck with the comfy looking sofas in the wait area but having a Lyft home was worth it. Get your stuff done here, you won't be disappointed.

Mr. Charles was very nice, communicative and professional. Smells nice in there and a very good energy overall. I brought my dad s car in and had the struts replaced and they did just that. I was able to see real time footage of the car in progress as well as text updates along the way. They were able to work with me and I felt they provided a fair price for good quality work. I would recommend them for any of your car needs here in Sacramento. They are the real deal and I will keep them in mind for any other mechanical issues or needs I may have.Sincerely,Ariana

I came here before and had a great experience, so I made sure i came back. Today however, was not the same experience.I was never told my car would need to be left overnight. I specified that I needed it back by a certain time. Some how Alex, I believe his name was, saw all the other notes I wrote, but managed to miss the part saying I needed the car back by a certain time.When I went to drop it off he never stated a single thing about needing it to stay overnight or that the time I needed it back wouldn't work. Because if he had I possibly would have been able to work something out and make that work. But, again nothing was said to me so I'm expecting it to be ready around the time I asked for seeing how I had dropped it off first thing in the morning. Almost 7 hours later I have had no update or anything and it was getting very close to the time I needed to get my car back.So I called and Alex told me they are still working on it and there should be an update shortly. An hour and a half or so goes by and I receive a text message saying they just started working on my vehicle.Even though they were supposed to have "still been working on it" it's just now getting started. It's now already past the time I stated I need to pick it up.So I get there about 45 minutes before they close because I still was expecting my car that same day because once again I was still never told I needed to leave it overnight.When I get there is when Alex FINALLY tells me they need to keep it overnight. Not when I first dropped it off and not when I called to get an update. Then he begins to act as if though I'm in the wrong when I specifically wrote in the appointment the time I needed my vehicle back and he never stated they needed to keep it.Then he tries to tell me its not in a condition to leave. Im like what are you talking about? Then another service advisor comes in and says yeah they can take it.Then he begins to take a very passive aggressive tone and says they really just started looking at it and many other passive aggressive comments like about how much gas I left in the car and more. If you just started looking why had my car been there since first thing in the morning? If you just started looking at it why did you tell me on the phone that they are "still working on it" as if the work had already started?How are you going to get upset with the amount of gas I left in MY vehicle especially when I didn't know you need to drive it. It had about 30 miles of gas left in it, which it is not much, but how far were you planning on driving? Like come on really? Thats not your place to say something like that.This place was great before. But the new trainee Alex ruined that for me and I will not be returning ever.

I took my 2014 Chevy cruise here to replace my catalectic converter. After about a month and a half the same problem popped up on a scanner at a different shop. I called them up and voiced my concerns. Took the car back in to them and they were able to locate the problem and fix it for free. I m glad I didn t have to pay out of pocket again for the second visit. Charles is a great employee and kept me updated on the car the whole time. Will update this review if anything else pops up.

I received an advertisement for this shop at 2629 Arden away, near my house, for discounted oil changes, alignments, and more. I thought: how convenient, the services I need at an affordable price. So I squeezed in a call to make an appointment during my commute. Later that morning they called back saying that location does not do alignments. So, it s the opposite of stress-free auto care. Increased stress and no auto care.

Had them replace the a/c compressor They said there was no power running to it after they installed the replacement. The compressor pulley was the issue, not the power it worked fine before the AC pulley went out. They charged me extra $100 to say it was a fuse. Now today 4-26-23 barely approaching 90 the AC blows HOT LIKE A HEATER!WATCH THE VIDEO BE WARNEDThey also held on to my car 5 days longer then they said without a care what inconvenience it was. I actually had to call to get my car back no is not ready, 30 min later come pick up your car but first the compressor won't turn on we need to get 100 diagnostic, oh it was a fuse... JUST EVIL! GREED AT ANY COST. BE WARNED YOUR CAR WON'T BE THE SAME.$1000 repairPLEASE DON'T GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANYMORE OF OUR MONEY. THEY CHANGED THE NAME FOR A REASON.

I needed to get my auto battery replaced and found Stress-Free Auto Care on Yelp. They were very thorough and efficient in responding back. I was given a good deal for the type of battery that my vehicle needed and the service was exceptional upon my arrival. Charles was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend them! Stress free auto was fantastic, very thorough, super honest, I took it in because my brakes were acting up, they fixed the issue free of charge and didn t try to upsale me on anything, always taken my car there and never been burned like most other shops I ve been to.

Charles is amazing!! He saved my @$$ on a pre purchase inspection!!Of course the dealer stated the car had no leaks. I took it in and paid for the inspection and the car leaked in multiple locations.So needless to say I passed on the car.Since then we took another vehicle in and it was a keeper.Had to have some minor work done. Took it in and it was completed in a timely manner, and at a fair price.Stress free auto has earned my business! The best experience I ve had involving service on any of my cars. As a woman who doesn t know everything about cars it s easy to be taken advantage of. I try to learn as much as I can when things come up, but there are things I have no knowledge on. It s an older car so I m sure I could ve been up charged on all kinds of things if I went somewhere else. They were honest, helpful, friendly and their name perfectly matched the experience. I also had my dog with me because I planned on walking around while I waited, but it was too hot out for his paws. They let me bring him into the waiting area (which was very nice, and they included free drinks and snacks.) I ll be recommending them to everyone who needs the services they provide. Will be returning for future service needs.

These guys are super nice and helpful. Maybe a bit more expensive than other auto shops in the area, but for the care I got, still worth it. They figured out the problem, found one I knew about but didn't mention, and even contacted my warranty provider to make sure they'd cover it and save me money.

One of the Best car shop customer services in Sacramento. Prices are always as easy on the pockets as far as I've experienced been here 3 times and might have to come back and get my brakes done right this time. Not saying g any fire. Dropped my car off Monday morning and got it back the next day with all of my issues fixed. I love how they send pictures with their inspections & repair reports because you can actually see what was wrong vs what was done. They are very transparent with their work, the cost of parts & labor, and even send a link to watch a live feed of your car being worked on. Professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Thank you for taking care of my bug!

Most transparent shop I ve ever been to. They replaced the actuator in one of my car s doors in just over an hour for 1/4 of what the dealer would ve charged me - even let me provide the part. No upselling or fuss - just did what was needed. I ll be back!
