Really disappointed in this shop. Me and my family have been going to this shop for years. No less than 10 cars every 2 years between us. Today I brought my 88 civic here for the second time and the owner immediately said as I was about to sit." We don't do older cars"I explained to him he did my car 2 years ago and he changed his story and said"were to busy and have new policy."I asked what was his new policy on 1988 vehicles was and he said." I loose customers if I take your car". As he points at the guy in the lounge.He told me I need to schedule an appointment 3 days out in advance to which I was ok with since this has been our shop of choice for a long time. I agree to schedule and asked him for a day and time and his exact words were."I can not guarantee day or time maybe lunch maybe not, Maybe you try other place sir, business is no longer slow I have many customer cars that take me 15 minutes, your car take 1 hour."He must have forgot it was customers like me that helped him get busy. I said id pay him extra to smog test at the best time for him. He recommended me to go somewhere else. Today they lost 10 customers. I left him my number but its clear he forgot how he got busy.

One of the most professional and honest smog shops.. The owner is super helpful, efficient, friendly and thoughtful. He made things super easy to understand and was cost effective as well. They also do DMV processes here, which is so convenient and helpful!

Never had a dull experience here at Smog Dog. I've bought multiple cars from the south sacramento area and when I need to smog a car, I come here.The place is clean, look for yourself. It shows professionalism and care just by looking in the bays.The service is straight to the point, no messing around and is actually really really good. Sure, this place smogs cars, but should be recognized for the service they provide. A+ Care for your vehicle old, or new.Smog your car here!

The staff, especially Chris and Ran, went above and beyond to make my car's smog journey a positive experience.My car initially failed the smog test due to issues with the hybrid battery. The team at Smog Dog not only identified the problem but also guided me through the process of replacing the necessary parts. What truly sets them apart is their patience and understanding. Despite the challenges, they remained friendly and supportive throughout the entire journey.Months later, when I returned for a re-test after replacing the parts, they surprised me by offering a free re-try. This level of customer service is truly commendable and speaks volumes about their commitment to customer satisfaction.I want to extend my sincere gratitude to Chris and Ran for their exceptional help. Their expertise, kindness, and willingness to go the extra mile make Smog Dog my go-to place for all future smog-related needs. I had a RV that needed to be smogged. It took , almost an hour to get the vehicle done. When I ask how much, I was quoted 160.00.he called his boss and the price was reduced to 150.00 then I was told my RV didn't pass smog.I left after I was aak to leave.I did find another place . My RV Passed the smog the check.

Offered me a coupon on a $60 smog, so I thought wow $49. Instead he jacked up the original cost to 89. He said have a nice day, I said I'll yelp you.

Sacramento small dog they are some great people I went him today but no people were nice clean waiting room. The girl at the desk sure is nice. She even communicated with us to let us know how respond was going.

This is the best Smog Station that I have ever been to! It is first come first served, no appointments nessasary. I have been here many times and have always been in and out very quickly. In fact my last visit I think I was in and out in about 10 minutes. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful every time I need a smog. The waiting area is very clean, comfortable and smells amazing as well! If you need a smog, PLEASE go to Smog dog, you won't regret it!

I highly recommend this place, Chris was super sweet and very helpful. I was able to get out in a timely matter. Definitely will come back to this place. The receptionist was super kind as well. She kept asking me if I needed anything. The shop is super clean and it smells good as well. Thank you Chris and Emily.

Super friendly and great job. I went there with my GMC YUKON for a smog test. The process went so well and fast. Just go there and live your own experience. I'm sure you will come out all satisfied.

Here is my experience, they have very unprofessional customer service and tactics. I went to get a copy of smog report which I did last but the owner instead ask me he did not snot test and charged $78. He did not provide a copy of the last smog report. And the price is very high $78. See attached receipt . Not recommend there are tons of smog shops in Florin road cheaper and professional mechanics.

Today I went to this place to get a smog done and registration and let me just tell you how friendly the staff is over here. A gentleman named Chris who has an amazing personality and down to earth dude help me out with my smog and registration. Truly a humble person and for those reading this I recommend to come and stop by smog dogs and get your smog done here. Thanks Chris for explaining the paper work stuff cause for some people (like me) can be a headache . 2021 - Awesome Customer Services. Showed up at closing and they still took me in. Made it pain less. Best SMOG experience ever.2023 - showed up at opening this time and was in and out quickly. Still great customer service.

TOOK MY MOMS VAN TO BE SMOGGED AND CHRIS MADE THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE SMPLE AND CONVENIENT. I WAS EVEN ABLE TO PAY MY REGISTRATION AND GET MY TAGS ALL AT THE SAME TIME WITHOUT HAVING TO MAKE ANOTHER STOP AT DMV OR A.A.A. CHRIS WAS THOROUGH YET QUICK. I WAS IN AND OUT, SMOGGED AND TAGGED IN LESS THAN 15 MINUTES. I WILL RETURN WITH EVERY CAR I OWN AND REFER EVERYBODY I KNOW. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, MADE A DREADED TASK INTO A SIMPLE ONE. Had a great experience with Chris at the smog dog. He was timely, check took less than 15 minutes, he was professional, respectful, and overall pleasant interaction. I will go back and will tell my friends. The inside seating nice and cool inside. No snacks and currently due to corona are not offering water.

This place is awesome! I think is a good location and the facility has a good set up and good price! I have been bringing my cars for smog and is always a good experience! Good customer service and with the the software they have, they get you in and out in no time! I ll be coming back!
