Great experience with this shop and owner he was upfront and honest. Something I can appreciate quality service and he got my car fix the same day. Update on my original review Rick is awesome drop my car off for some minor work and instead of calling a Uber Rick offered to give me and my wife a ride to where we needed to go great customer service. If you have any problems with your car I suggest you contact r&r auto repair

Took me awhile to find a good mechanic in Sacramento and after visiting R&R for a few concerns with my car I ll be returning to them for any and all future car repairs/maintenance. Got an appointment the same week and had my car issues diagnosed and repaired by the end of the day. I also received a check in text a few days later to make sure my car was running well. Fantastic shop! Highly recommend!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Auto maintenance, Battery, Oil change

New customer. Chose due to reviews. Very happy. Will return. Felt it was straight up, fair, fast. Left my car overnight unsure what was wrong but sounded awful so emergency-style dropped it off. Very communicative, made an effort to slide me in and gave me straight talk with what they'd recommend. Appreciated their transparency and driving the car and diagnosing first to give real feedback to solve after having looked at the car instead of, "pay me whatever to start looking" like I feel I get elsewhere.. I came here for years and was very happy with their service. I had a Geo Metro that I drove for 14 years. Treated myself to a new Nissan Sentra so used the dealership. Big mistake. Last summer the transmission went out (only 9 y.o.) Manny helped me decide on my new, used car. I'm never buying another new car and I'm back at R & R for good.

Rick and Manny are really nice and have been a Godsend to my vehicle. I never feel pressured and they always explain to me what's going on with my car. Would recommend R&R to anyone. It's good to have a home shop I feel comfortable bringing my car to for service and repairs

I had a wonderful experience and R & R ! The guys were great at keeping me informed of how the work was going. Rick and Manny worked very hard on getting my car fixed and now it s running great. They fixed my head gasket and a few valves and then my oxygen censor as well. They gave me a great deal and was just an all around great experience. I had been very nervous about going to a shop and being taken advantage of but every step of the way the let me know how much things would cost and I never felt like I was being scammed. It s family owned and you can tell!

I have used R&R several times. They are technically competent and have fair pricing. I have found that I can trust their assessments to catch and repair real problems while using common sense in terms of what is urgent to be repaired vs. what is showing some wear but has life left. I have a 2015 Toyota Sienna and plan on taking the car their for repairs and oil changes so they can make twice a year inspections and recommend any necessary maintenance and repairs.Service: General repairs & maintenance

R And R automotive repair did an excellent job on my Toyota Highlander. Their diagnostic and repairs were great and they worked very quickly. I would recommend them as fair priced and efficient, and also pleasant to work with. They kept me informed and I am glad to have found them.

We love the discount coupons R&R offer online and the email reminders for maintenance that you usually only see when seeking service through the dealership auto repair. The price of labor is low relative to what you'd pay at the dealership as well. We have recently moved and tried having our car serviced at a local shop, which charged less for labor. However, they ended up keeping our vehicle for well over 9 days and the car was returned with having even more problems. We've always trusted Rick, so we won't be going any place else to have work done on our cars.

Our '02 Rav4 had been making some creaking noises for a few months. Brought it to R&R and the guys drove it around and tried to get it to make the same noise to with no luck. Wouldn't you know it we got the car back and couldn't hear the noise anymore. But the main thing is Manny and Rick had me bring the car in and didn't charge me for checking it out. Time and time again R & R has treated us very well. Their customer service goes above and beyond. Thanks R & R!

Replaced motor in vehicle with remand from Chevrolet. Received a 3yr. 100000 mile warranty, and I am very satisfied with the work performed.

I've been taking all of our cars to R and R for years. They have proven, time and time again, that they are looking out for the customer. They have never done unneeded work, have found ways to get things done in a very timely manner, and are very professional. I have already sent friends to R and R and I can't recommend them strongly enough.Give them a try you won't regret it.

Rick was very friendly on the phone and in person! I had a great experience here. When i arrived in the morning they took my car right away. Rick then took me out to the shop and explained and showed me what and where the problem was. They got my car done before I started work which i was so stressed out about. I will definitely be a returning customer.

This post is regarding R and R Auto Repair. If you are looking for a Auto Repair shop you located it R and R with mechanic(s) with upstanding morals, workmanship, and honest go to R and R you will not regret it. Contact (Rick/Owner) As we all know some auto repair shops are shady and try to up sell you even if you did not need that part replaced.Rick, after the work is completed will send you a text to ask if everything on your car is working. Been going there for years but I now only write this post because I want people to know there is a honest shop out there in Sac.You will be happy you made R and R Auto your automotive repair shop.Doug

Truly a 5 star establishment. All around honest service, from nice guys who know their business. They hunted down a good used motor for me, and swapped it out entirely in just a few days. Rick took the time to show me what happened, and patiently explained everything I wanted to know. What an OUTSTANDING experience. I will NEVER go anywhere else for car service. Thanks Rick! Amazing! The owner and Cody are great! He explained everything perfectly, they called with updates and had me in and out that day. After I paid they gave us Girl Scout cookies as a thank you. Who does that!? They can take my service from now on, really put a smile on my face after the morning I d had. Thanks again R & R.

I've been going to Rick for 7 years and followed him from his previous shop. He is the most integrous, knowledgeable, and wise manager and owner I have met. I absolutely trust him and always know that his recommendations are balance and wise. He goes out of his way to keep his word and find ways to save money when realistic. Knows tons about my Prius too.

These folks are great! Honest, quality work with a smile, every time. Rick always explains everything he is suggesting and why very well. I never feel taken advantage of. I even got a box of Girl Scout cookies left on my seat my last appointment. :)

If anyone asks me if I know a good auto repair shop, I say yes, R&R Auto Repair on Fruitridge. I also say I have peace of mind and trust Rick and his mechanics to fix my car. I wouldn t take my car anywhere else.

Complete rip- off! I hate companies that use the misfortunes of others to their advantage. Fell into a situation where minor car repairs were needed, probably less than $50, and this company charged over 3 times that amount just because we we're in a bind and had no other options. It's very sad that we live in a world where greed has taken the place of basic honest business practices. But what goes around comes around, there will come a day when dishonesty will have a taste of his own medicine.

Just simply didn't get the problem fixed. Spent over $3000 for a problem in which they didn't fix and had to bring it back a second time without any success. They g a very me the car back worse than it was with an additional steering problem that didn't exist before! This business seems understaffed and easily picks out something to work on other than the problem you share with them. Never to return.
