The service is terrible! I DO NOT RECOMMEND! We made an appointment for the 4th oil change and arrived 10 minutes early. Manager Fresh said the oil change would take 40 minutes. I was with my wife and child. There was another man standing in line behind me. After completing the paperwork which took 20 minutes. We went for a walk. When we returned to pick up the car, they didn t even start changing the oil! The man who was standing in line behind us took his car. We were told that they had lunch and that they would start doing it now! I tried to tell the senior manager about their work, but he was rude and said that this was normal for them! Bottom line: If you want to spend 2 hours changing the oil, you can come. If you want quality service and a normal attitude towards you, run away from this service for a better one! I definitely don't recommend it!

Exceptional Customer Service and Fast Tire Fix at the Pep Boys on Northgate!I recently visited Pep Boys on Northgate and was greeted by two outstanding employees, Fresh and Ace. I had an urgent issue with my tire pressure, and I couldn t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I walked in, Fresh took charge and ensured I was well taken care of. He provided timely updates through out the process, which really put my mind to ease.Thanks to their expertise and dedication, I was in an out in no time, with my tire issue resolved. If you re in need of exceptional customer service and fast service, I highly recommend visiting Pep Boys on Northgate. Ask for Fresh and Ace they re the epitome of stellar service ! :)

This location is strongly recommended! Ace and Fresh were amazing!I had recently had a mechanic work on my vehicle but it continued to have issues.They were very thorough as well as very knowledgeable about what was needed, and they were so attentive to the details, I am very grateful! they also made sure the car was complete before I left. I will definitely be back and already have recommended them to a friend! Thank you gentlemen. They definitely need a raise!

THIS PLACE IS A SCAMAfter getting a service bulletin at Nissan done , I was informed that I needed new brake shoes/pads for front disc and rear drums. The dealer tech, Informed me I didn t need any new drums or discs with full report provided. I decided to take it to Pep Boys for a cheaper deal as I had a coupon for $40 off. The tech at this location informed me to come to car and have a look at the rear pads after they had taken the tires off the car. It wasn t metal to metal but for sure the pads needed changing which I knew and had brought it in for same reason. (The tech never showed me the drums)&. I went inside and a few minutes later he calls me to the counter for the final pricing. He informed me that due to liability reasons they can t just change the rear brake pads as the drums were seriously damaged. This was a huge shock to me as neither Nissan had informed me and nor could I feel any issues with braking. The quote they gave me was over $800 and informed me could give me a $80 discount. I was mad at Nissan for not letting me know about the drums and decided to just go with front pads only. Long story short took it to Nissan and they showed me drums with zero defects. All it needed was pads. I will be filing a report with BBB for this scam. I should have stuck with the dealer from the beginning. I have attached pics of the drum with zero defects and Nissan report with a report from Pep Boys with the fields not filled in. I still ended up paying over $255 just for front pads which they said also needed resurfacing.

Fresh had very good customer service. No employees were there except him. They called out sick but he was helping people at the desk and he was able to get my car fixed and back on the road. Highly recommend what a great professional he is definitely recommending people and will be back.

Ace and Manny helped me so much today!!! I was in a crisis and needed help with my car that started making this huge noise. I was afraid I was going to have to replace my whole engine and they took the time to educate me on the most cost effect way to fix it without breaking the bank.

They were short staffed but made me an appointment for later in the week. I had both headlights replaced on my mom's car. Appreciated how quickly they got the job done. It isn't a simple task on a 2010 Subaru Legacy. Would recommend making an appointment in advance for any work you need done.

I recently had my oil changed at Pep Boys on Northgate and the experience was exceptional. Fresh was prompt, knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service. He explained the process clearly and went above and beyond to ensure my vehicle was in top condition. I appreciate his attention to detail and will definitely be returning for future maintenance needs.

One day while visiting family, the weather in Sacramento, California was abysmal. I ended up getting a flat tire, and saw that every other Tire Shop was closed, besides Pep Boys. I called them and Justin told me that they were going to call their boss and ask if they can work overtime just to fix my car! I got a very good deal on the tire and the installation, a deal I don t think will ever be beat for something like that. David is the greatest tire technician I think I will ever see, it didn t take him long at all to do it. Best tire-shop ever and I will never go to another one from now on.

Called to get quote on battery swap the Manager, Ace, provided quick accurate information that I felt I could trust while prioritizing my time, and maintained a quality rapport while obviously dealing with an irate client in the background who was being incredibly pushy about unreasonable demands. I will bring my business to this location based solely on this favorable level of customer service provided.

Went in and got 4 new tires, and within an hour, one was completely flat. The shop couldn't help by sending out a truck or tow so I had to call a tow on my own. Corporate is giving me the run around on reimbursing my tow bill for their mistake.Edit: I highly doubt the owner of this location is replying to these reviews. Twice the "customer service representative" AJ has said We have reviewed your Case#126251, it was updated on 12/21/23 with a note saying "Called and left voicemail" and another date but there has not been a call. Straight up lying about contacting me.

Comment is being removed or hidden, they ask you to email them and then don t reply lol. I went in last Sunday because I had a nail in my tire and needed a patch. Did wait for about an hour for service. Now when the man at the front desk said he needed to talk to me he mentioned that whoever serviced my tire went to take the entire tire off to patch it.. doing that the guy snapped one of my lug nuts off.. I already had one lug nut missing so I was aware at some point that one from previous owner needed to be replaced. He then proceeded to tell me rather than the mechanic taking responsibility in his fault of snapping a lug not off that I was looking at about a 600 dollar repair. I was pretty shocked at how a 22.00 patch turned into a $600 dollar repair on something they messed up on. Therefore my tire is now missing 2 lug nuts. When I mentioned I could not pay that right now to just put the tire back in he mentioned my car is no longer safe to drive but again not sure as to why if they break something or destroy something why they are not loooking to fix their faults. I would ve had no issue paying for the lug nut that the previous owner did not have on the car, and then FIXING THEIR MISTAKE would have sounded doable. Do not come here. As a women it s already intimidating going into a shop and for them to do this leaving me uncomfortable and not save is absolutely ridiculous and the reason some of us women do not like going into shops.

Ace and fresh has helped me and my daughter and who is disabled and have mental health problems.they made it the priority to help yes get our tire changed everyone tuck avange of us.i almost had a mental breakdown stuck on the side of the road . I was about to give up but they encourage me to take a deep breath, and and that everything would be all right. They motivated me to stay focused to get my tire done and they were positive and warm and welcome to me. They help me get through my day . We need more workers like them .you need more people like them around. I appreciate you guys service and I appreciate the men that stood up for a woman and her disabled child. Card

Ace and Mikah are exceptional employees! Very helpful and knowledgeable. I reached out to the arden location for an inspection and they told me they wouldn't be able to do it until after the holiday because they didn't have any technicians. When I called the Northgate location Ace IMMEDIATELY was eager to help and encouraged me to come in, once I did he was able to help me and get me back on the road to make some money for the holidays, right away. I cannot stress enough how truly helpful this was and how thankful I am, with my current situation. I'll definitely return to this location for any further auto needs I have. Thank you guys so much!Visit 02/01/24 - This time I was helped by Fresh, I needed rotars and breaks done. I called first, they told me to come right in. When I arrived a couple people had arrived before me, but they still got me inspected and scheduled to have my work done in less than an hour. You guys have really hired some quality employees here. I have been pleasantly surprised each time I come in by the personable people answering the phones and at the desk. Fresh is no exception, absolutely wonderful to do business with and I will continue coming here for my auto needs as long as they fall in Pep Boys offered services.

Went to Arden pep boys for 2 tires called a day ahead for an appt tech said we were good they had the tires. Show up for appt start paperwork have the car taken back and then all of a sudden now the tires we ordered they don t have !!! Tell us it s gonna be 130 a tire. So we said nope give us the keys back we will go elsewhere. Called the pep boys on northgate and they said come on down I got ya we have the tires u need. SHOUTOUT TO ACE AND FRESH AT NORTHGATE U GUYS ROCK!!! Thanks from the Scully s!!!

Justin, manager on call went above and beyond to get the parts and install to repair my vehicle at the most affordable price. Ended up being complete several days early. Will be my go-to shop for regular repairs and maintenance.
