I was referred to Niko for a major maintenance on my GT3, and could not have been happier with the overall experience. Niko is everything you want in a mechanic - Honest, incredibly thorough, and fairly priced. To top it off, he s a Porsche Master Technician and a super cool guy. I was extremely impressed with his level of detail and care from the second I handed over my keys. He truly treated it as if it was his own. A gem of a shop.

Niko is awesome and honest. I ve been looking for a new mechanic since mine retired years ago and Niko is the guy! Highly recommend. Fixed my car up great and much more reasonable than Porsche service.

The owner Niko is super nice a awesome mechanic specialist in all Porches and Mercedes-Benz cars. A ton cheaper than the dealership. I would highly recommend him.

I requested a quote from Midtown Autoworks for a PPI on a flooded Porsche. The owner responded promptly with a pretty high quote compared to others after I responded with the links to the car for sales and carfax info. The owner urged me to schedule an appointment as soon as possible. This Porsche is expensive even with a salvage title. I figure I should use the 'best independent Porsche mechanics in town' to do this at a higher price for such a high risk car. It is almost near what a dealer would charge. I also ask the owner if he can make some recommendations on purchasing this car after the PPI. After that email, all communication stopped. The Porsche was sold shortly after. I sent more emails. crickets.Service: Vehicle safety inspection

Niko and his crew are professionals. This shop estimated a couple of repairs and were able to do the repairs well under the estimate and three days faster than expected. Every aspect of the work was excellent. This is a shop that I trust and will return to. What a stroke of luck on my par tot find it.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repairServices: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

I have taken my Mercedes to Niko for years. He is warm and professional and he doesn't talk down to me because I'm a girl. He also is way more affordable than the Mercedes dealership for my inspections. When I leave his shop I don't feel like I have been taken advantage of. He is the best!!!!

I can count in one hand how many automotive shops I trust completely. Nico is trustworthy! He explains the repairs and provides the best outcome that fits your needs. He is professional, kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable and friendly. His prices are reasonable comparable to the dealership. I have saved thousands of dollars and for that I am grateful. I have been getting my Boxster fixed numerous times here. My dad also comes and gets his Porsches serviced here. We will remain loyal customers for life!!

Really great experience. My time is limited, they understood that and accommodated me in every way. Had my service, brakes and called me an Uber.

Niko was incredibly nice and diligent when I approached him to perform a major service on my car. He made things as easy as possible for me, calling my insurance company many times to keep my out of pocket costs as low as possible. I can not recommend him enough.

Niko and Midtown Autoworks were awesome. Got my Cayman in right away, diagnosed the problem, did a full car checkup, and completed the work quickly and correctly. Niko does a good job of explaining the issues and the work required. His prices are very fair, especially compared to the dealer. Everyone I dealt with at the shop was very friendly and helpful.

I have had great experience with this Shop and my Cayenne S repairs. I am a repeat customer and just recently got jammed up with my best friend flying in from San Diego and my Porsche broken down. Niko took me right in - got the part and repaired it same day so I could get to the airport and get my friend. We hit a casino one day and wineries the next! Niko saved our weekend! Another downtown shop had misdiagnosed the repair and Niko got it right and saved me over a grand. He has a customer for life! Be sure to give him a shot.

I called the shop based on the recommendation of a local car dealership where I was considering buying a used car. I spoke to Niko the owner and even though we had never met, he gave me his honest appraisal of the car I was considering buying. Most importantly was his professional opinion on a number of issues that I might be facing in the next 10 to 20K miles with that type of car.Niko did not make me feel rushed or as I was putting him out even though it was just free and friendly advice. I really appreciate his care and concern and paid to bring any other car I might consider buying to his shop for a prepurchase inspection.Give a call and ask for Niko the owner!

After several years taking my car to Niko... he's still "the one"! Although my Wife's car is still being serviced by the dealer, since it's only a year or so old. My Porsche continue to visit Niko for all services and the simple things (oil changes). I live in Rocklin, so it's easily a 40 min drive. I'm happy to make that trek, well past many other service shops I've used in the past.(3+ years ago)Niko's great! Knowledge about Porsche, and a trustworthy mechanic. (It's a great family biz, his dad Spiro helps around the shop... which makes for comfortable chats when waiting for my car.)

I contacted Niko about performing a pre-purchase inspection of a Porsche 997. I am not local, so was depending on his evaluation of the vehicle. He was incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and communicative. They found several major issues and Niko went through them with me in detail. I decided not to move forward with the purchase based on this invaluable information.Highly recommended!

Nico is extremely professional and knowledgeable in Porsche repair. He provided great communication with me throughout the process and gave me all possible scenario so I can make an informed decision. He was also patient with me as I was unable to make a decision immediately regarding the repairs. I will definitely be taking my other and future cars to his shop.

I had them check out a 2009 Cayman bought from a local dealer. Very friendly. Did not take my CC info until the car arrived. They even mentioned that there was a closer mechanic. I chose them anyway based on their great customer service on the phone. I am out of state and was a bit nervous about buying a car without seeing it in person. Niko checked it out thoroughly and then had one of his mechanics give a second opinion. They detailed minor issues and provided a cost for future repairs. It was a very honest and competent description of the car. They even charged me less than the original quote because the car was in better shape than they thought it would be. Highly Recommended.

Just bought a 2009 Cayman out of town and was not able to obtain a PPI. I had Niko inspect it and perform the 40k service and he assured me the car was in great shape. Big relief. It's great to be able to discuss your issues directly with the technician doing the work. Great service..easy to work with.6/25/20..Sold the Cayman to a guy that bought it because Niko maintained it. Bought a 911 and continued to receive outstanding service from Niko. Very happy.

I have a 2003 Boxster I brought to Niko after I bought it. Niko is great. He told me what I needed to get fixed now, what could wait until later if I needed to and the signs to watch for if I did wait to know I needed to bring the car back in.The shop is clean and orderly. His knowledge of Porsches is great. His prices are reasonable. He will be my mechanic as long as I own a Porsche.

Hello- So here is the deal-I have only written 2 on line reviews in my life. They are both for Midtown Autoworks. Why? Simply because are they best service provider I have ever come across-Not just Auto Servicing. More than anyone else they recognize the value of good customer service. This means prompt, courteous , excellent and fair priced auto servicing. Niko understands that this type of service creates long term customers and a recommendation from a current customer has unlimited value , including word of mouth. That is how I found Midtown- from another Porsche owner. This is why they continue to grow. Midown Autoworks honestly cares about their customer base and treats them as they would like to treated. I travel quite a distance for servicing at Midtown. Although there are many others in Nevada County where in live, that advertise services they cannot or will not do, but are things that Niko and his staff do as a matter daily business. If you own a Porsche or Mercedes, do yourself a favor and skip the others and go directly to Midtown Autoworks. I promise you it will be the best car move you will ever make.John B

I contacted Niko @ Midtown in Sept of 2020 to perform a pre-purchase inspection of a 1995 993, since I am out of state. Midtown Auto coordinated with the dealer directly for pickup and return. Niko, even though he knew of the vehicle, gave a totally honest and unbiased inspection of the car. I value his opinion and professionalism.

I came to Midtown Autoworks because I have gone to two other local Porsche 'specialists' who could not troubleshoot a leak. One shop even had my car for over a month, which included 3 return trips. That was frustrating to say the least.Niko and his team fixed my leak - permanently. To make the situation more unique and complex, this was a known issue from Porsche, but did not have any manuals, or replacement parts since it was not a Porsche manufactured component. Niko went out to research the problem, how to fix it, found replacement parts from a specialty shop and performed the repair based on his 10+ years of factory training and experience.Needless the say, Midtown Autoworks is the only shop in Sacramento I would trust and recommend that have your Porsche serviced - whether it be regular service or unique problem. Here's the icing on the cake for me. I have been to many shops from many different manufacturers. When Niko says he will call you back on a certain date with an update, or a quote - he does! I have been to countless shops where they never do what they say they will. I always have to call them back or chase them down just for an update. This is a great example of how customer service should be.So with the technical expertise to fix your problem (or perform regular maintenance) with factory training and many years of experience, great customer service, and reasonable pricing, is there any reason to go anywhere else? I think not.Thank you Niko and your team of staff. You guys are top notch.

I checked several Porsche shops in my area to fix IMS problem with my Boxster and Nick came highly recommended by Porsche Club members. He fixed the problem for a lot less than his competitors and for a small shop, offered convenience similar to dealerships, such as pickup and drop-off. The shop is conveniently located and easy to find. Nick has a good attitude towards customer satisfaction, adjusting any questions and dispute fairly. He also fixed some additional items on my Porsche for which he did not charge me.I just brought my turbo in for routine check and Nikos proposed a thorough 60K check; I am glad I listened to his advice rather than wait for some catastrophic events (since I have very low miles on the car, the plugs and tires are likely worn out, just due to time/age. He also advised new tires, and I have a friend who has a race shop and a trailer who informed me old tires on his 18 wheeler just "exploded" because of age. He also fixed my reserve reservoir on my clutch, it's now almost like new, much less effort in shifting. As usual excellent friendly service from a very knowledgeable mechanic!!

We have been taking our Mercedes and Porsche to Niko for the past 2-3 years. In every case of repair or maintenance, Niko has been honest, direct and fair. His knowledge is exceptional and if he is not sure about something, he doesn't BS you...he says "I'm not sure, but will find out and get back to you".The quality of his work is top notch and his repairs are much more economical than the dealers (surprise?) and you get better attention and, in my opinion, much better service. Often Niko takes care of little things he finds (a light bulb out, adjusting an item, etc) and doesn't charge for it...just part of his excellent customer service.I am also the owner of a small business and Niko certainly has the skills, honesty and attention to service that will keep customers coming back and bringing new ones via referrals.I would have no qualms in recommending him highly to my friends and associates for service and repairs on porsches, mercedes and other vehicles.

I've been taking my 2007 Porsche 911 to Midtown Autoworks for a few years now and he's always done a great job at an affordable price. They've been more than helpful in every aspect, even gave me a ride home one time (I live in Antelope, so about 16 miles) when it was discovered that my car would need to stay in the shop for a few days. Niko (the owner, I believe) has always been transparent about what needs to be done, what might need to be done somewhere down the line, and will show me the trouble parts that he replaced and why it was faulty. Turnaround time is always pretty quick, unless a part needs to be ordered, but I don't fault them for that since it would be impossible to keep all parts in stock all the time. They keep the facility clean and maintained, and have a small area with free WiFi, TV, water cooler and a coffee machine.I will be continuing to visit Midtown Autoworks for any of my Porsche service needs, and I would highly recommend them!

Niko was great. He serviced my Porsche Panamera recently. I got 50K tuneup (oil change, cabin filter, air filter and spark plugs). He recommended getting my brakes, sensors and rotors done also. Gave me a good discount compared to what Livermore/Rocklin Porsche was quoting me. Niko is very knowledgeable, technical and personable. He kept me updated on the progress of my car throughout the day. I would definitely recommend family and friends to Niko.

Niko at Midtown Autoworks still believes in good ol' fashioned customer service.as if the great car care weren't enough, his Dad drove me to nearby car rental place, and they covered the cost of the rental car for the day.haven't had such great service in a long time, was truly surprising and refreshing.

Niko and Midtown Auto Works are the best, I wouldn't take my Porsche anywhere else for service! His honest, caring approach is unsurpassed and exemplifies what customer service is supposed to be!Update - Was looking to add a third Porsche to the family so of course I consulted Niko for his advice on which year/model Cayenne to target. Based on his advice I focused my search on a Cayenne Diesel. After locating one locally Niko performed a pre-purchase inspection on a 2014 Cayenne Diesel. I was amazed at the thoroughness of the inspection! He really brought piece of mind to the process! I purchased the Cayenne based on his input and couldn't be happier with my purchase.Midtown Autoworks is the only place I will take my Carerra, Panamera, and newly added Cayenne!

Midtown Autoworks did a pre-purchase inspection for me recently and they were fantastic, very thorough and communicative. I live in NY so literally on the other side of the country, Niko drove the car for me and was honest and upfront with his opinion. I did end up buying the car! Thanks again for all of your help!
