I brought my extremely oxidized 2002 Honda Civic into Maaco on Arden Way on 3/5/24 for an estimate on an entire car paint job. The friendly and professional owner Jason did the estimate for free and even though I hadn t scheduled an appointment. He thoroughly explained all my options, showed me a video of their shop s work and even showed me a couple of cars that had just been painted. I was impressed. Within the week I brought my car in to be painted. I chose the top of the line clear coat, as my car spends its life in the sun. Angelina was especially knowledgeable, pleasant and professional in the office. Dropped the car off Monday and picked it up Friday. End result is beyond what I expected. Looks just beautiful. I m super happy, and have already recommended this shop to other family members. A final note. Less than a week after the car was painted someone carelessly grazed the bumper in the parking lot at the Roseville Grounds (while the car was parked and unattended). I was sick about it and decided to drop by Maaco soon after and ask if anything could be done (touch up paint etc.). Jason, the owner brainstormed some options then offered to sand and buff the six inch scratch out himself! For free! Talk about above and beyond. The bumper was saved. Bottom line, I ve got only good things to say about this Maaco. Highly recommend.

Recently had 2008 Highlander painted with excellent results. I had a good experience with Customer Service and quality. Pleasantly exceeded my expectations. A testimony to the new management.

The staff at Maaco were fantastic. I wanted a color change for my 2023 Hyundai Tucson. Hyundai only had the darker blue, which was nice, i just wanted a lighter shade. They quoted me a reasonable price. When I came in to have it done, they made a huge effort to find exactly what shade I wanted (who knew there were so many shades of blue?). Once we settled on one, they went to work. They told me it would take 3 days, it took 3 days. When it came time to pay, they charged me the quoted price, no attempts to get me to pay more. Results were beautiful. Wonderful experience. Definitely recommend.

This is my first Google review, and I rarely post on Yelp so when I take time out of my day to write one, it should go a long.Before I share my Maaco experience, I wanted to let my fellow reviewers know, that this location is:UNDER NEW MANAGEMENTWhat's so special about Maaco on Arden Way?Let me share my experience with you, and show you before-after photos.While I've seen Maaco commercials in the past, I've never needed their services.Friday, I had a car accident and my rear bumper was badly damaged, and I have a high deductible, so I was dreading the estimate.I was terrified of the estimate of whatever a body shop decided to charge, plus a high deductible.When I walked into the auto body shop, my insurance (AAA Northern California) sent me, the shop didn't have an appointment booked for me.The shop said it could take up to two weeks to receive an estimate. I was stuck.About a month ago, I had an issue with sludge getting into the engine.The dealership said they needed to replace the engine, but after a week, they said they could flush it.They said, get 3 things at 500 miles, the engine would start filling up again.I called Meineke in Sacramento on Capitol Way (first place that came to mind, haven't used) and told them what the dealership said I needed; and Meineke quoted about $400.When I went, the manager carefully looked at the dealership recommendations, explaining what my car actually needed from the list, and what wasn't needed.I left Meineke having spent $107, and an engine that ran like new! Did they make the $400 from me?No. Could they have? Easily.Instead, Meineke on Capitol now has a loyal, lifelong customer, and spokesperson to everyone I know.Doesn't that tell you everything you need to know about the manager's integrity, in turn, Meineke's integrity?What does Meineke have to do with Maaco? Let me explain.After I left the auto body shop my insurance sent me to, instead of trying a different shop, hoping for an estimate in the same month, I called the manager at Meineke for a recommendation to a reputable auto body shop.As you would've guessed, that manager recommended one place, Maaco. I called the Maaco in Rancho Cordova, but the 'body person' was leaving early, so I called the Maaco on Arden Way.Even on a Friday in Sacramento in the late afternoon, the Maaco on Arden told me just to come by.I had glanced at the reviews first, and almost changed my mind, but the person I spoke with, Angel, was so helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly, I decided to go anyway.Angel and Stefani did a very thorough assessment of the damage and said they would put together an estimate, not in two weeks, but in 10 minutes, and they were pretty busy when I got there.The estimate included replacing the panel of the bumper, along with a number of other parts, which as you probably know, is not a cheap endeavor.The estimate came to almost $1k, but knowing money is tight (I work for a nonprofit), Angel went above and beyond by bringing out the store manager, Jason to take a closer look, (close to closing, on a Friday) to see if there was anything he could do to bring down the cost.Jason carefully look over the damage, with a rag, a spray bottle with acetone, and some elbow grease, and look at the before-after photos! Jason didn't charge me! Could he have? Easily.Jason fixed everything you see in the 'After' pics, BY HAND!Doesn't that tell you everything you need to know about the owner Jason's integrity, in turn, Maaco's integrity?The car will still need a small repair to add brackets, fix other tubing inside the panel, etc. Something tells me my next experience will be 5++ like this one! I'll post a follow up review/photos after repairs.Where do you think I'm going to take it?! I just picked up my car and it's amazing!! They transformed my car - did a bit of bodywork, replaced the bumper and painted it from beat up black to THIS!!!! This location is under new ownership as of early 2023 and the entire staff is incredible. They're all super professional and friendly and they do a great job! I am thrilled at the result and 100% recommend this location for anyone looking for a paint job.

I really never write reviews but I went into this shop yesterday for an estimate. I had a decent scrape a little bigger than a credit card on my car since my mom backed into it. They came out to evaluate it and asked if they could try something and they ended up just being able to buff it out for me!! I recommend this location 10/10. They have some honest, kind people who work there. Thanks again! :)

The new owners are clearly focused on making the customer experience here as pleasant as possible. I needed a piece of trim replace and reached out to them on Memorial Day to find out, to my joy, they were open for a portion of the day. The office staff were very friendly, and I received my estimate quicker than I expected. They ordered the part they needed and I was on my way in less than an hour. Before the end of the week I had received a call that the part was in, and when I arrived, their body tech was immediately on top of it. I had barely signed the paperwork and paid by the time my car was done. I've never had such quick and friendly service at any auto shop. I'll definitely be back here anytime I have any other scrapes or dings I need fixed on my car!Service: Body & Trim

One Thing I found odd is make a use to use parts from salvage yards and this maker used a 100% new parts. Which increase the cost. Make will used to be very inexpensive the painting is still inexpensive compared to other places but the body work I felt was not as reasonable as it has been in the past Asked. Just got my car back work was exemplary excellent service under new management very accommodating and the work was done in a timely manner I highly recommend going to the one in the arden area the staff there will make you feel like family

The negative reviews here mostly share one attribute: a bad experience with the rude older Indian gentleman, who I am guessing is the owner? After listening to him yell at a customer over the phone I got an estimate for a job. He wasn't the slightest bit friendly or professional. The worst part? $2800 quote, and that wasn't even to paint the entire car. Got a second opinion from the Maaco in Roseville: $800-1000 for the same job. (Employee at the Roseville store was also very friendly and professional.) This Arden Maaco is G-H-E-T-T-O, I wouldn't advise taking your vehicle there.

They left the inside of the car filthy. Several greasy hand prints along the inside roof of the driver's side, plus it's light grey. Also the floor covered in dirt from shoes. They obviously didn't use paper mats or wash their hands. The work was completed well and in a timely manner, at a hefty price. Seriously, 50$ for 2 gallons of gas.

Went to get an estimate for two dents I got around 6 of them before coming here all around 1200 or 1300 this guy thought because I was a girl I wasn t gonna know better his estimate was 1900 and said it was because the paint was an expensive pain. Like makes no sense when I went to another shop they even said he was trying take advantage of us. Do not recommend. Also did not let me take the estimate papers he snatched them as soon as I was gonna take them. It was an Indian guy. Didn t get his name

They replaced the bumper on my car via insurance after an accident and now there s pry marks on my car where they apparently pried the old bumper off, and the new bumper is not even pushed in all the way and there s gaps between the bumper and body. For $1172 you d think they would at least install the bumper correctly.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

Shittty paint jobs , they didn t fix my door panel as it was listed on the paper, and charge me for it , I paid $1900 for a bad paint job, and door panel wasn t fix that was the extra $500 and I m sure paint job wasn t that much but they over charge me , I m looking into it because I have it all on paper , hopefully my lawyer Wel take action with this , bad service would never recommend anyone going there at all . I have no words to say about this place , words can t explain , they are rip off and etc .Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Indian guy was rude and unprofessional. Was asking for a quote to fix headlights on my car, didn t even check it out. I asked for the paper he wrote the prices on, but he got upset when i said i would come back and he crumpled it up and told me to leave. I would never recommend anyone to go here for their services.

Took my looking like POS car in for a Makeover and it came out looking like new. Called Joel 15 minutes before closing and he stayed late to let me bring the car in, awesome customer service! He then gave me an estimate and a discount to make it work for my budget, he went above and beyond for sure! I would recommend anyone needing great service and quality work to give Joel a call. You will not be disappointed.

The $399.00 deal is a bait and switch. No one has ever paid a maaco that much for a paint job. It's a blatant lie. But that's not the worst of it.The guy who owns this place doesn't seem to realize that treating customers like trash is bad for business. I'm not joking, before I said a word to him he was acting like he hated me as a person. I'm more curious than mad at this point. I genuinely have never been treated this poorly. Not by even the most angry ranting lunatic on the streets. There are 3 other MAACO branches in Sacramento. I'd rather be forced to use uber after I drop off my car than go to this one.0/10 would not endure extremely unpleasant gentleman again.

Stay Away or get other estimates not just MAACOSo i went in to get a quote for my car window not able to roll up. It rolls down but doesnt roll up. The indian guy without even checking out my window that its gonna cost 600+ i said wow that much he said ya the mechanism is broken and needs to be replaced. Didnt give me a paper for the estimate he was supposed to write me. Told me he can reserve the part with a down payment. Right off the bat i onew he was trying to scam me.I decided to look at other shops and sure enough most of them had the cost going for under $250.

I am thrilled with the quality service I received from this shop in March 2014.They recently did a paint job and some minor body work on my 20 year old Toyota Corolla and it now looks as good as it did when I bought it new in 1994.Scott, one of the managers, took the time to explain various repair/paint options. At no time did I feel I was being pressured or "up sold" on unnecessary work/services.Please give the new owners/managers of this shop a chance to show you what they can do for your vehicle and do not be misled by the older / hostile reviews others have posted.

Called made an appointment for an oil change. I asked twice to make sure they do oil changes they said yes both times. Got the email confirmation for appointment. when I got there was told they don't oil changes indian guy was very rude.
