I really want to say how amazing this company has been to work with. I am 37 weeks pregnant with a toddler and my car was vandalized. They had my car done in a matter of days with amazing work. Very easy to work with. Swift updates. Just all around what an amazing company. Javier I m specific was very kind and took care of me! I will always recommend this company. I never even do reviews but things never go my way and this was just an awesome experience. I was really stressed out about the whole situation and they made it as stress free as possible. 5 STARS

Do not come here my car has been in the shop for a month now and it was at first supposed to be in the shop for two weeks turns into a month for something so small . They also don t communicate with you regarding your own car and requests more money and time even though it should have took a week. I can see my car being worked on to in which everything is open even though its damage to the side of the car ?

Highly recommended! Had to take my Maserati in after damaging the front bumper from some debris on the freeway. She is my baby, but notoriously tricky to work on. And I'm obviously very cautious of letting anyone put their hands on her. Kniesel's is the only shop in town properly certified by Maserati to work on their vehicles and was directly referred to me by the original dealership in Walnut Creek. I cannot be more grateful to Chris and the rest of their team for taking such good care of her. Not only was the physical work done to the utmost perfection, but the customer service was top notch as well. Chris was very thorough and excellent with communicating with me throughout the entire process. Being an exotic luxury car the parts are very difficult to source and whole process took nearly two months. However, I was constantly kept up to date on every step along the way and that was able to keep my concerns at bay. The end result is my baby is back to looking brand new. I've had the misfortune of needing body work on my Tesla in Sacramento twice.The first time I went to CARSTAR Capitol Collision on Watt Avenue, and although the repair quality was fine, they texted me to come pick up my car 1.5 weeks before it was actually ready, and took some of my (inexpensive) belongings from my car.This time, at Kniesel's, I was perfectly satisfied. I waited about a month and a half from when they gave me an estimate to when they were able to schedule me to begin repairs. They told us that it would take 3-4 weeks for repairs (had gotten rear-ended), and we were actually able to pick it up after 2 weeks. Communication was frequent, they worked well with our insurance company, and the car looks and drives as good as new now (writing this review 2 weeks later).Thanks Jose Rodriguez and Kniesel's! Fingers crossed I never need another repair, but if I do, I know where to go!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

First & last time I take my vehicle to this body shop due to a rear end accident. It took me almost month for me to pick it up my car after exceeding my car rental while the shop worked on my car.I was expecting my car to be in good hands but this how they I finish my car They ended up fixing it because I complained but I'm but not satisfied overall

Amazing ! Every step of the way , professional, courteous, friendly, personable .. this will be the only place I take my cars for the rest of my life and I will strongly recommend to every person I know . Victor was incredible. !! he treats people very very well. He should get a big fat raise. :)

"Your Mother has been in an accident"... these are the words I heard over the phone a couple of months ago. Thankfully she was ok, but her car needed to be repaired. Thoughts of her being taken advantage of, told things that only will cost her more because she didn't know RAN through my mind. But then I spoke to Victor Lee, an account service manager....We all have a idea of great customer service, but I can say without a doubt, he has set a new bar for other companies to reach for. He took the time to explain everything that was going on, ensuring that all of my "silly" questions were answered. He not only answered the question I was asking, but also answered questions I had not thought of.He is truly an asset to this company!! Thank you Victor (again) for ensuring my mother's car was properly cared for and taking the time to explain what was going on a few times to myself and others. The worst, like unbelievably so.I took my car in for repair of 3 shallow dents mid-panel. This would be considered an easy job by any body shop.It took over a month and multiple attempts to pick up the vehicle after receiving messages stating the repairs were complete. Each time, there were obvious (from 30 away) issues with the quality of work done including: poor filling of small dent, poor application of paint (metallic didn t lay flat, painted right over rock chips, terrible color match and blending) poor alignment of hood, doors, window, inner door hardware.They damaged: steering wheel, inner door mechanisms, door weatherstripping.As it stands: my passenger door window mechanism makes a horrid sound when opening and closing, auto-present door handle makes grinding sound, trunk is mounted crooked, door weatherstripping is torn and installed incorrectly.They did provide me with a replacement steering wheel and a replacement door weatherstripping (for the wrong door). I will not allow them to continue with installation for risk of further mistakes. I ll install these myself.I deeply regret trusting Kneisel s on Power Inn with my expensive car. The service writer and manager seem great personally, but they are lacking skilled technicians and an eye for quality. I m embarrassed for them.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I would give this place a solid 4.5 stars.My Tesla model Y needed repairs after being rear ended, and Kniesels is a Tesla approved body shop.At first, I was worried about my choice because for the first two weeks after dropping my car off, I didn't hear anything from the shop. I was concerned that they just "forgot" about my vehicle. But in fact, they had already evaluated my vehicle and ordered the parts. That was a relief, I just wish someone had told me about that earlier.Once repairs were underway, they kept me updated one to two times a week. Anytime I called into the shop, I was greeted with courtesy and my questions were answered. Never had an unpleasant interaction with the staff. The repair took 2 months to complete, but that is the nature of owning a Tesla.At the end of the process, my Tesla looked like new. I didn't see any residual blemishes or evidence of bad workmanship. They offer a lifetime warranty on their work, but hopefully I don't need it!I'm not sure how pricing or repair times compare with other shops. If you do take your vehicle here, just be patient and it is likely you will get a satisfactory result.

I had brought my card in for an initial estimate at Kniesels Natomas and later decided to take it to Power Inn because it was busy in Natomas. Power Inn location told me I would need to bring The car in for a second estimate. That did the estimate and sent the information to my insurance for payment. The appointment was scheduled for over a month after the estimate. I later dropped my car off to be worked on and called a few days later to get the ETA when it would be completed. They told me that my car was disassembled but they would need to reach back out to my insurance for additional repairs. This is after they did two estimates. Long story short, it took about 2 weeks longer than it should have cuz they weren't organized and when I received my car, the interior headliner was dirty from dirty hands while they were working on it.Service: Body & Trim

They were AMAZING! My catalytic converter was stolen TWICE. They were so kind and helpful through both thefts. Manny explained the whole process and made me feel very comfortable. They helped me with my rental car return and even gave me a ride to pick up rental car after 2nd theft. They are true professionals in a world where great customer service is close to nonexistent these days.

Do not bring your car here. 3 weeks later my car is still there and repairs still not done. Bring it somewhere else. The guy that answers the call needs to be a little bit nicer on the phone. I always bring my car for all the accidents I had to kniesel but this will be the last time I m bringing them there. Too bad I didn t this guys name. Because of him he lost another customer.

Worst body shop ever. Supposed to close at 5:30pm on Friday. They where closed way before 5:20 it's been a hassle all week long trying to get my vehicle back from them. Wouldn't recommend this body shop even if it was the last one on Earth.

The repairs were good. No complaints for the time it took as the parts came in late. Totally understandable. Some concerns I had about a chip in the windshield and some scratches in the paint unrelated to the body damage. The person who inspected my car initially said they'd take care of the chip and buff out the scratches as best they could. I also asked about detailing. The tech said he'd take care of the chip repair and buff out the scratches, but they might not come out. Not to worry. He said no cost. The thing is, if he said they wouldn't do it I would've paid them to do it. I had paid my deductible and picked up the car. The little things, chip and scratches, weren't done. Whatever, went on with my life. But they messed up charging my card. So I had to go in and pay again. While there I mentioned the little things. I was willing to pay to have those things fixed. Mr. Shanahan himself came out and whoa... man thinks everyone is out to bilk him. Never got a chance to even ask to pay him to fix the little things. After talking with his employee he admitted his employee overpromised but continued to overtalk this customer. Didn't have to be a negative experience, but it was pretty comical. Left money on the table for no good reason. Will not be returning. The repairs were good though. Customer service matters.

Had my car repaired here after a collision. Was told the car was detailed before picking it up. Car was not detailed at all. Dashboard still had dust/lint, console was dirty, seats dirty. They need to train their "car detail" department to learn how to be detailed and not just a rush job.Service: PaintingService: Painting

If you're not committed to have your auto body work here don't bother coming for an estimate. The estimator I was assigned to was helpless and said an estimate cannot be written unless the car is torn down. It appears to me he's lazy, incompetent, and not willing to put in any effort to do his job. I'm so disappointed to think this place is the best in their industry. From the outside it seems this place has it all; nice/well kept facility, very inviting and a pleasant receptionist but looks is so deceiving. Here's a thought maybe they're extraordinarily at what they're doing RIPPING OFF customers!

Ridiculous! My car has been in the shop since August 25th. They told me my car would be ready September 17th. Then the 19th. Then the 21st. Then the 24th. Then the 25th. Then I get another call saying that it still won t be done and they can t make any promises that the parts will come in as they were told. It s been a week and a half that they have delayed us getting our car. But WOW! They offer to pay for one day of rental car fees. If this is the kinda of excellent service they offer I would recommend them to no one. I ll update when I finally get my car. Love how on top of all this I m still having to pay for a car that I can t drive along with a rental car.

Terrible. I sold my car six months prior and the new owner got his car towed. They sent me a letter and I called them to let them know that the vehicle was not mine anymore. Next think I know I get a letter from a debt collector with an invoice of almost $2,000, the car is worth $300. Also they never said that there is a possibility of a collection just that if the initial tow amount, which was about $700 when I got the first letter, then they would sell the vehicle. And that was fine by me since I did not own the vehicle anymore and told them that.

To expensive and poor quality job my paint coat it's peeling off vs the original looks better! When come by for insurance inspection they lost the report 2 times and I have to re schedule another appointment!

If I could ZERO stars I would!!! The worst experience of my life from a body shop recommended from AAA. No communication at all on top of that I got the run around and had to take my vehicle back over 4 times. Along with also having damages on my car that were not there to begin with. Please save YOURSELF the headache and avoid at all cost!!!!

This place is very nice, the staff are very nice and treat you like family. The service is very good. My car was fixed in the time that they said. And they did a great job.
