I came here last year. The guy told me i should drive around get the car warm up. Come back in 20 -30 mins. I was back there in little over 20 mins. He was gone. I waa thinking maybe an emergency came up. I get it.On Google maps it says the shop opens up at 9am. I showed up today a little after 11am. Shop is not even open. Kinda hard to give a review if the shop is not open. I wont waste my time trying to come to this shop again is they can't keep to their hours.

The service was great, the service technician was professional. Took information and process was done under 1 hr. The best part was when he show me the areas of trouble , he even mark them with a white paint to visualize the issue. I recommend this shop ..

I don't waste my time being a karen writing reviews but I will write this one. This was the worst smog experience. The worker was super slow. The one customer that was in front of me, he was just chatting with him for an hour and not really working, inconsiderate of my time. Had to pay a different price than what I was told on the phone. Really unpleasant experience. If you don't want a ruined day and a headache, don't go here.

NEVER opens on time. Supposed to open 8:30am weekdays, 9:00am Sat, doesn't happen. If you fail, you get a free retest, but this one man show only shows when he wants. Finally took my car somewhere else and paid the full price to get it done, don't go here.Service: Smog certificationService: Smog certification

I was very satisfied with the service, Jaime was friendly, polite, made my children and i feel comfortable. Did not take long to smog the car. I am a picky person so once I find a place I like I return. Will definitely be going back.

Love this place. have been going here for 5yrs. The guy who works here is so nice. Being a female going into any autoshop males tend to treat females a certain way. Not Here!! SUPER NICE GUY, POLITE, PROFFESIONAL!!

They make rather deceptive claims. In the quote for the original test, it says: "FREE RE-TEST FOR VEHICLES THAT FAIL THE INITIAL SMOG CHECK VALID UNTIL 90 DAYS AFTER THE INITIAL TEST." My car failed the original test because the battery had recently died and the monitors had not run through all their internal checks. I returned 21 days after the initial test and was charged $21.75 for the retest (plus $8.25 for the certificate, as expected).When I challenged the quote, I was told "yes, you get one free chance for a retest, so it is only $30 instead of $48." That was repeated multiple times as I tried to understand how "free" was turning into "$21.75" until I was told that the re-test was free, but I still had to pay for the labor, as "he had to do the whole test again." Perhaps he did, but new customers showed up shortly thereafter and my re-test took about 5 minutes compared to the 15-20 for the first one, and there is no difference in the line-items on the receipts to show that one included charges for something that was at all "free" the second time.

Great experience. He gave me alot of advice on properly caring for the fuel hoses and other pointers aswell. I highly reccomend this place if you want your smog done the correct and legal way. Came in for a Smog test, was not expecting to see a familiar face!! I was happy to see Le! In fact I met him years back at Natomas Auto, he was the 1st mechanic to assist me with my SUV!! Small world to run into an old friend, with a friendly smile & actually remembered my name Yes!! SUV passed smog!!!

I was guaranteed the promotional pricing 27.95 then after it was completed they charged 39.99. There is no excuse. Don't come here unless you're ok with paying extra for no reason.

The place I usually go to shut down so I ended up at Horizon smog & test center. I had a great experince and think ive found my new place to have my cars smogged. The prices are fair anx i was given exceptional service.

Shop is in an awkward spot on the corner and makes for a tricky maneuver to get in and out but customer service was great and service was quick but to the point. I would recommend.

Although my car didn't pass, they offer a free retest and on top of that the guy used a white marker to indicate exactly what the problem was. Thank you Horizon Smog

I called on 5/30/2019 @ 9:32am for a quote to do a Smog test on my 1999 Honda Civic EX and was given a quote of $48 out of the door. When I came to this place at 12:10 pm, guy came out to me, looked at my car and said it will be $96 to smog may car, even though I told him that I called and got a different quote. I was really confused, so I called that same number again and talked to the very polite and helpful woman on the phone which said to give the Tech guy last 4 digits of my phone number. After talking to the Tech again, this time he decided that he can not smog my car because it was "too low", even though my car has stock suspension and has bigger than original wheels which overall makes it slightly higher than stock. Two minutes later Tech's buddy showed up to do a smog on his car, they started chatting, and completely ignoring me. After talking to the same helpful woman on the phone she told me that I can go to a different Horizon Smog place on El Camino to do my Smog (which had the same ramp and my car did not have an issue getting on it).So if you want shady people like this guy to do anything on your car come to this place. Or if you simply want to get ripped off.

I don't know why they say they open at 5 if the person who works there saws before 4 in the afternoon, the owners should check that because they are losing customers
