Great prices and high quality product! Seriously had such a great experience. Daren was awesome and provided great customer service along with educated me so I understood everything. I truly appreciate him for this and I really appreciate the feature that s shows on phone pictures of what s going good on car and then what is going to need attention coming up and then what needs immediate attention. They didn t just say it they showed it with very detailed pictures of their inspection which came with the oil change that was priced so affordable and with top oil! $47 for full synthetic oil and a free inspection is a steal! You and your car deserve this level of quality. Thank you all at Hal s Auto Care for such an awesome experience! I truly appreciate you!

Darren is friendly, takes the time to explain the job and just visit a bit.He worked with my extended warranty Co. to get me the best deal for the job.I feel very good for how the job - brakes, steering, was done. The car drives like new and now we're ready for some vacation miles.

I am impressed! Went in for a basic oil change & not only was the price more than fair, but they couldn t have been more thorough! They uploaded pics of every inspection point that they made. Informed me of immediate concerns as well as possible future without pushing for a sale. I am moving out of town in 2 weeks, but will be driving back to Sac when I need my Bronco worked on. Thank you Hals.

Couldn't recommend this place more. They did an Oil change for me for the cheapest I've ever had, as well as a super in depth expection of the car with photos and descriptions of each car issue. Super helpful and friendly people too!

After 20 years of enduring repair mediocrity, two independent referrals took me to Hal s Auto Care. At last! A shop with the capabilities and confidence to tackle extensive work on my 1986 Ford F-150. From the outset, Daren Burke kept me apprised of estimates, parts acquisition, and progress during the 11-week process. Staff is very professional and courteous with highly experienced mechanics who enjoy the challenge of repairing older vehicles. Their diligent approach to accessing parts resulted in an $800 savings, and all their work is warrantied!The service team at Hal s Auto Care surpasses a five-star rating. Had a oil change done and they also gave me a detailed explanation with pictures of everything that needs fixing on my older vehicle love how thorough they are with explaining everything and showing you exactly what needs to be fixed with pics explaining everything will definitely recommend to family and friends and will be back soon.

Went because I had an oil change coupon, great value and good service. I d go back here again.Edit: Came back here again for another oil change. Even without a coupon, it s the most competitive price I ve seen in the arden area. Also they don t try to pressure you to get other services, which is my pet peeve. 5 stars still.Services: Tire rotations, Oil change

Great customer service and took great care of my Acura. Will be going back for more work that my car needs. I knew ahead of time exactly what it needed, and this is an honest shop. They even told me what I wanted to hear A previous shop said I needed a specific part done, but I just got that part replaced. Hal s Auto said the part was in great condition. Haha, so I trust this shop a lot.

Our experience with Hal's was by far the best we have experienced with an auto repair facility. They made sure they kept us informed and updated when it was necessary. The cost was very fair, they were friendly and professional. We were especially happy with their honesty as the technician cracked the radiator and they replaced the radiator free of charge. I have been a customer for over 4 years and Hal s Auto Care has never disappointed me. They are the most knowledgeable when it comes to repairs. They really care and do not take advantage of you. They offer full services, coupons for referrals and gift cards during the holidays. Hal s auto care repaired my brakes and now my suv is riding like i just drove her off the lot. I absolutely love coming to Hals They worked on every car I've ever owned. Their work is excellent and they stand by it. This shop is reliable and dependable. And as a female customer, I really appreciate them treating me with respect, not talking down to me. This has been a common experience at other mechanics. I would recommend Hals to anyone

They typically seem like one of the better car repair shops in the area, I've gotten work done before and they've done a good job, but sometimes they demonstrate how little they care.My car broke down and I had it towed there. They inspected it, I couldn't afford the repairs, so I had it towed back. Now my battery is dead and someone else's belongings are in the back of my car, and they won't do anything about either unless I somehow get my dead car/battery back to them, which wouldn't be worth the cost of getting a taxi there and back.All I get are illogical excuses. They claim they can't work on cars elsewhere, when all I asked for was someone to come pick up and charge my battery and bring it back to me, not work on it off-site. Some people only see problems and make excuses, instead of finding solutions and actually caring about people. Sometimes it seems like the only business man around who actually cares about his clients...Service: Vehicle Inspection

My experience here was great. I was able to get a quote online & it was honored start to finish once I brought my car in. Not only that, I was able to get my particular repair done in a reasonable time(Had old serpentine belts swapped out on my Honda today)& their parts are covered by warranty.The employees I dealt with personally were very patient & understanding which during a pandemic are extra great qualities to have. You've probably been mailed their coupons which are also honored if you present them for your repair. Have a few other repairs needed for my car & as of now Hal's is where I intend to take my car for them once I have more money.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Engine repair, Air conditioning

Auto A/C systems can have numerous issues. Hal's quickly found the defective parts and repaired. Some of the cost was covered by Hal's warranty from a repair 2 years prior. They don't have good behavior with the customers. I called them to schedule oil change for my car, they told me we are not working on your car anymore because last time I had an emergency work and missed an appointment with them and now I am on their blacklist.

In May of 2021 my Trucks service provider referred me to Hal's for a problem with my heating/defrosting system. I was told the heater core had to be replaced. The work was completed and I picked my truck up on May 17th.While on a RV trip my truck began acting up again. I returned to Hals and was to the heater core they installed was defective. I was told the system was under the heavy truck 12 month warranty and that there would be no charge for the replacement. When I picked up the truck last week I was given a work order full of zeros. I was surprised and pleased at the result and cannot remember the last time, if any, that I was given this kind of great service.

I gave 1 Star, and that was Generous!I had my Party Bus in (11 Years Ago) and they charged me nearly $5k, to rebuild All the AC Lines. In the following years, I had to bring it in to repair leaks, caused by rubbing on bolts, and screws. Each time, they Charged me, $1-2k, 4 Times!! After the 4th Time, I wanted to know WHY I was being Charged!!! They should have done a Better Job, routing the lines!!! They Still Charged me $1,300!!! Then, they Dropped Me (a Loyal Customer) saying they will No Longer, work on Larger Commercial Vehicle's, which is (Most Likely) a Lie!!! :-(~Ken

My wife and I have used Hal's Auto Care for close to 30 years anytime we've needed air conditioning repair on one of our vehicles. We have never been disappointed in the service. They've always been professional and taken care of any problems we've had rapidly returning our vehicles in the same day. We don't think looking for anyplace else to take our troubled vehicles because we know we'll be taken care of quickly and professionally and reasonable prices.Bob Hall
