After a terrible experience with a chain repair shop who left me with nonfunctional brakes, I called Alfredo to see if they could help. I should have brought it to Glen's first and saved myself the headaches! Not only did the mechanics accurately diagnose the issue, but they were honest, kept me updated, and worked quickly to get me back on the road. Alfredo even fixed a peeling panel on my door for free! I'll be back here in future as I trust their work and appreciate their overall customer service. Excellent!

Alfredo's the man. Honest and COMMUNICATIVE! It's awesome having a mechanic take the time to fully explain and write down everything they did and what they noticed when working on your car, so you're fully informed

Everyone here is awesome. They care, they don t cut corners, and they don t overcharge you. When my car was in they called me with updates often letting me know what was happening and giving me an accurate time frame for when my car was finished. Of course knowing the employees here helps but if theres anywhere I would recommend to family and friends it will be this place. 5/5.

Alfredo is, without a doubt, the best there is. I would trust him with my life - and in many ways, I am doing that each time I visit him and works on my car that I commute daily in. He cares about his work, his shop, and the great staff there. 10/10.

I chose Glen's in 2021 to replace the catalytic converter in my Prius when it was stolen. Alfredo chose a more expensive component than what my insurance would cover without consulting me, and I ended up being billed an extra 130 ish dollars for it.My insurance rep needed to communicate with the shop to refund the money they charged me for the component, and Alfredo failed to follow up with my insurance or with me multiple times. It took many phone calls with my insurance rep and Alfredo over several months to get it resolved.There were no issues with the work done, but it was a huge inconvenience.

My friends recommended this shop, as they had been taking their car here for years and I couldn't say enough good things about this place! After the 3rd time here, I can't imagine going anywhere else. They kindly squeezed me in for an oil change before a road trip first thing, I was greeted by one of the mechanics on the way in, and Alfredo is so kind. He asked myself and every guest sincerely how we were doing, not only their car haha, and when I had questions last time for a bigger repair, he explained things so simply. Glen's automotive is the best. Alfredo provides exceptional service and has, on several occasions, helped me out by just checking a strange sound or looking at my tires without an appointment. He always works with my schedule and even lets me hook up my computer and access wifi so I can work from the lobby while I wait. Safe transport for my family is the most important thing to me and I have confidence that you precious cargo is always safe thanks to Alfredo and the superior staff at Glen's automotive. Can't recommend them highly enough!

I'll be honest. I was in the market for a new mechanic after running into more than one or two bad ones who left a bad taste in my mouth, so I wasn't easily trusting. I came in when my car wouldn't start, and they offered to come to my car which was parked elsewhere. Without even requesting it, they offered a diagnostic, offered donuts, looked over the shortcuts previous mechanics took, and fixed some items free of charge. All of this while providing good conversation and what mechanic morning visit would be complete without a good complementary donut. They've made themselves my regular mechanics thanks to their solid advice, friendly attitude, and above and beyond serviceServices: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Battery

I've been coming here 10+ years. Only place I'll ever take my car. Alfredo, Kenny, and the rest of the team are fantastic people. If trust and honesty are important to you, this is the place for you. They always tell it to you straight and get the job done. No nonsense.

Went there this morning with a flat tire, had to drive a long ways and they serviced the car right away. They even checked the spare and fixed the leak on that. They we're super patient with me and explained what they were doing and the things I should look out for.Very professional, quick and well priced mechanic!Service: Tires

I'm so glad I found these guys! I'm new to the area and they were referred to me by somebody who takes his car miles just to be serviced there. I just left there and I couldn't be happier. They explained everything to me so thoroughly and didn't treat me like I was too dumb to understand. Alfred wrote everything up and gave me a quote on the work that needed to be done. I'm still under a limited warranty with my dealership so he recommended I take it to them to see what was covered. My warranty will be up shortly so they have a customer for as long as I live here! My mother and I have both had our cars serviced here for over a decade . . since Glenn was still alive and this was still the Chevron Garage. Glenn and Lee were both upstanding gentlemen and would always go the extra mile to help out. One time Glenn even lent my mother and I his personal car to make our trip to Tahoe as the car wouldn't start the morning we were set to hit the road! Glenn and Lee have passed, but the values of this family business have obviously made their way to Alfredo and Kenny as they continue to embody that kind spirit.I live in the bay area now and come to Sac occasionally but Alfredo always manages to find a slot to fit me in to help with maintenance. I know a small handful about cars, not enough to do everything myself, but enough to know when a mechanic is giving me the run-a-round, and these guys will never sell you more than you need and they will always be straightforward an honest. I only ever had to return once after a job as they had installed new tires and I was notice some wobble/shaking and for no extra cost they checked out my car again and did a courtesy re-balance and alignment. These guys are awesome and I highly recommend them!

a real mechanic. He knows perfectly the typical problems of car models and if he does not succeed, he investigates until it is fixed. An honest work team. Without a doubt my mechanic from now on.

Went here since it's close to me and the wheel on my car decided it wanted to fall off. They fixed it, fixed a couple other problems that other mechanics failed to identify (car was overheating and headlamp not installed properly), and did not overcharge me! I'll be back.

Auto repair can be expensive. Glen's Auto is fair and reasonable. Mechanic Alfredo is very helpful and dependable
