Jason and his team went above and beyond building my dream car. Took a poor investment on my part and transformed it into a modern sports car. Doesn t drive like a restoration. It drives, handles, sounds and smells like a brand new sports car. I couldn t imagine a better team or company to build my childhood dream car for the price they did! Their attention to detail blew me away. They found stuff 3 other mechanics didn t find.To all the haters out there questioning the amount of cars in the shop. Maybe you should understand how a business works. Not everyone can pay for their dreams right away. Not every company ships the correct parts on time. The fact that they have that much room and that many cars shows you what they are capable of. They can allow the customer to get their money together while not stopping work on others that can afford their build faster. This also keeps the employees working and not figuring out a way to pay their bills.I highly recommend this shop. Strongly suggest following Jason s vision of the build. His response time is incredible. I have nothing bad to say about this shop.They built me a daily driver for the Bay Area that meets everything I need to navigate these destroyed roads.Thank you so much for bringing this dream to reality. I can t thank you guys enough.

Awesome shop with top notch work. Been taking my 70 nova in there to get worked on the last few years and they do excellent work. Jason is knowledgeable and loves what he does. Very happy with their work

Gearhead had my car for 3 years after claiming it would take 6 months. I had to get nasty to get the car out of the shop. The work was to be a complete mechanical restoration but a lot of the things I asked for and listed for them to do was not done. After 3 years the car was starting to look pretty bad, the one time new parts were getting dirty and worn looking. I work on the car myself and am finding one thing after another that was done poorly or completely wrong. I handed them 27000 bucks for some performance parts and a transmission conversion and the many other things agreed on that did not get done. The shops problem is they have way to many cars and very few technicians. The actual time they spend on your car is very little and the work is very rushed. I expected a solid car but have had nothing but problems after I got mine out of there. I will never go back to this shop. Beware...

Brandon and Jason at Gearhead Garage are Awesome! They are very patient and helpful in my never-ending quest to bring back to life my wife's 1968 GT/CS. They are top-notch. I look forward to our next round or upgrades and highly recommend Gearhead Garage for all your Classic and Hot Rod needs!

I can't say enough about my experience I had at gearhead garage in Carmichael Ca Jason and his team are so professional and they explain exactly how they are going to do the job they did a tremec tkx conversion on my mercury I wouldn't go anywhere else for custom or restoration work thanks again Jason and technician mert for making my car a fun driving experience againServices: Retrofitting, Seat rebuilds

Went in there to ask a question the guy was so Polite took the time to come to my car and give me an idea of what was going on any other place would ve told me to pay an hour of diagnostic definitely recommend this place good people beautiful cars
