Yes they cheap for a reason. They break things and yes the lady always nervous. They hang up in their own customers faces and do no call back when they claim they are. I should not have to run around when my money has been paid already and they have a small lot they park cars across the street at target because they do not have space to park cars. Fulton did body damage to my car and they do not want to pay for it - so small claims court it is. I am tired of this transmission shop I cannot wait until it s over. They have a 60 day policy for a warranty and I will be suing before that ends. DO NOT COME HERE FOR BUSINESS UNLESS ITS THE LAST RESORT!

Absolutely furious w this place. Something very shady is going on here. Was told my truck would be done on one day and it was being finished up and never called back. Kept calling and getting runaround. Actually went BACK to shop later and my truck was nowhere to b found, and whatever lady works there was VERY nervous my partner showed up looking for truck. Call them next day, they r still putting it together when I was told it was finished the night before. I am getting a bad feeling and they still have my vehicle. Don't go there

Stay away from this place. They had my car for a month...after they repaired it twice. When i got it back there were scratches on my paint that wont come out. Still having problems...NO warranty BUT HE LOTS OF EXCUSES....S T A Y. A W A Y....

They are writing there own good reviews! If I could give them zero stars I would !!!!!!DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! THEY STEAL PARTS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS POOR! My car was broken into and all my windows busted out and they blamed me for it !

They are scammer's I brought my car in and pretended to not know what the problem was. I knew I needed my clutch replaced but I wanted to see if they were good people or not. They tried to lie to me and say the whole transmission needed to be rebuilt. Don't come here they will lie to you about doing more work than they actually do. Who knows how many uneducated people they have Been taken advantage of. Don't reward lying and stealing. Take your money elsewhere.

Had my transmission on my chevy rebuilt. Did a terrific job. I felt like the price was extremely reasonable compared to other near by shops. His turn around time was 2 days.

Trans in my 02 Tahoe 4x4 went out, warranty wanted me to take it somewhere with 2.9 stars, after speaking with Ruben he ensured me that s what he mostly does is warranty work, and I d be able to get my vehicle back with weeks end. He held up to that exact date. Always called me and texted pictures thee entire diagnosing process. Called me when everything was accepted and done ready for pick up. Only con I d say is the amount of grease on/in my vehicle. But when I m worried more about having a mechanical sound vehicle for my family I will always clean my OWN vehicle. Very honest shop. I d recommend this shop.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance

Best place ever I took my van here. My van was not up to no good. Needed a tune up and some other things wrong with it. I spoke to Ruben and he took my van in and got it done. Change a lot if stuff in my van and got it back running. I am so glad I took my van to thus place. I got my van back and it runs like a new van. Thank you Ruben and the staffs for everything. I will definitely come back when I need more service and recommend you to anyone that need service on their cars.

I have been going here for YEARS. Ruben and his family are sooo nice. They look out for you as if you are family. Gustavo and the other employees are VERY nice people as well. Even his other CUSTOMERS are nice, lol. This review is well overdue. Not to mention you get PURE, QUALITY work at GREAT prices. This place is a heaven send. Thanks Rube! This dude has kept me and my family safe on the road for years, and it means so much to us. Five star!

Ruben and his team of mechanics are top notch. Went in with Jeep and had a trans fuild sensor code. Went to AMMCO they said they don't fix the bad part but rebuild at the tune of $3700. Others transmission wanted $2000 to repair. Fulton quoted $530. He works great and he fixed it in 2hrs. Highly recommend Rueben and his family to fix your transmission.

Ruben was awesome took him a little longer than usual but he rebuild the transmission on my 1984 f150 4x4 he said $2,000 but the end he charged me 1750 most other places will increase it not decrease it shows you how honest this place is

Ruben is the real deal when it comes to transmission repair. I pulled 3 bids on a transmission rebuild for my heavily modified 02 4Runner. Fulton Auto Repair had the perfect trifecta 1) Best Price, 2) Best Warranty, and 3) Local owned and operated. I threw Ruben a major curve ball when my radiator internally eroded and blended my coolant and radiator fluid together creating a strawberry milkshake throughout both systems. Coolant system wasn t an issue; the transmission needed a rebuild. Ruben had it rebuilt it in a week. It shifted better than before as my fuel modified supercharger was quite the strain, however after about 50 miles I had a check engine light and a slight early shifting, which threw a transmission code. Called Ruben, and with no hesitation he said bring it in. The code required him to dive back into the transmission, as the milkshake caused even more issues than could have anticipated. Per his warranty, he poured even more time and money into it to get it right. That he did, and its shifting better than even before the incident.Save yourself the time, and money and bypass the franchise shops and go straight to Fulton Auto Repair. You ll be in good hands.

The worst customer service ever!!!! I just called them and asked a question about diagnostic and they hung up the phone on me. Stay away from this shop.

I have used Fulton transmission for over 10 years and have had Great work done there including a rebuilt trans for my truck along with a water pump and a radiator. Ruben the owner is very helpful in getting me in and out fast,usually the same day. This is a 5 star quality shop for your car and truck needs. Call Ruben 1st before you spend. Excellent workmanship. Took my Highlander in for a complete rebuild of the transmission. His pricing was extremely fair compared to the other quotes I got. It did take a little longer than expected but that's ok. They did a great job and stuck to the quote I recieved even though additional costs came up to complete the job. Very happy customer!

Stay away from this place!!!At vehicle pick up the interior on driver side was filthy with grease and grime. Shop owner (Reuben) attempted to address with solvent and dirty rag, only to smear grease and grim deeper into interior fabric. Damage to exterior driver front quarter panel observed and reported to shop owner at pick up. Shop owner claimed to have video cameras but refused to share video while having custody of vehicle. Transmission repairs to vehicle NOT made correctly with damage to transmission main bearing, passenger CV shaft, and transmission casing requiring replacement of transmission and passenger CV shaft from another repair shop (Nissan of Elk Grove).Service: Transmission

Had to get my vehicle towed to a service shop and the tow truck driver suggested this location.They were helpful, courteous and quickly found the issue. They got it fixed and at a very fair price.They had some issues with their phone system (yeah, Comcast has LOTS of issues it seems) however, they were nice on the phone and called me when my vehicle was fixed.

I have a GMC Sierra truck and my transmission went out. I called the shop and he said if I could get my truck into a shop by 12 he would have it out by the next day at 5 and by God he did it. He even provided the towing. By far the best automotive experience I've ever had.

Reuben the mgr/owner kept my vehicle for 1 freaking year. We paid him, and got our car back in worse condition that when we initially gave it to him. He thinks by giving my money back solves the issue, and when confronted about the issue of him not keeping his word he hung up on us. I filed a complaint via the better business business bureau, and will write reviews to let everyone know how he treats his customers when he doesn't hold up his end of the bargain.

PSA DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE ! While my car was in his possession someone broke out my winows this is the worst place to bring your car he kept my car for 3 months and when i ask whats goin on he becomes angry and irritable he told me MULTIPLE LIES he had no respect fr my car whatsoever he parks cars bumper to bumper. The times I came to check on my car it was unlocked and parked in the Target parking lot it had multiple scratches and unrecognizable damege not only that my car is now making A LOT OF EXTRA noise like rattling and clanking he is arrogant rude and and says insulting things w a smile ruben is not a good person at all .Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance

Hands down Best place to go ibeen bringing my bmw here for about 3 years when ever ineed maintenance done and they always always fix my car like new great prices very friendly. They will even tow my car to there shop if needed. Ruben is the man in charge very friendly and helpful! iwill continue to be one of there customers thank u everyone there

Everyone has their opinion and I can only speak for myself...I had bought a hooptie and I was reffered to this place, I spent a lot of money on this hooptie...left and right. I thought cool I found my mechanic! They worked with me and we're reasonable...I was happy! Then one day something went wrong. I'm not going to put it out there..they mean well, really nice people. I can only speak for myself, but I was devistated and still can't believe it...it's been over a year. I'm trying to accept it and let it go..I really wish them well...happy holidays! God bless!

My van needed a new transmission (3 places and the computer said the same thing). University Auto wanted over $4,000 for rebuilt but for a 13 year old van with over 200,000 miles, we decided we did not want to spend that much. They suggested I go to Fulton Transmission since they had heard good things. Thank you University Auto- you were right. Rubin's employee checked the computer and did the test drive. Rubin was willing to find a used transmission (the first one was cracked- no good), found one with 114,000 miles, talked the price down, got a 1 year warranty, put it in for about $1400. Van drives great now. Hope it goes to 200,000 like the first transmission. Thank you Rubin!!!

Rueben is always there to help. If there is any issue with my vehicles I can't handle personally I trust him to get it taken care of at a fair price. I don't even call other shops anymore. A true hidden gem.

My van had an issue with what seemed like to the transmission where it was having trouble deciding on what gear to be in when driving up hill or on the freeway. I took it to Fulton Transmission where they offered to take a look at it for free. Within 20 minutes they came back and told me that all it needed was a tune up and it would take care of the issue. The price was reasonable and I agreed to have the work done. Within a couple of hours I had my van back and it drives great. Problem solved! I was expecting the worse and it turned out to be something minor. I'm very happy with Fulton Transmission.

This is the worst place I could have taken my car I read the reviews on the place and decided to have them work on my dodge but either the people that wrote those reviews are lieing or they have differant people working cuz they told me when the towed my car on a Thursday December 9 that my car would be done by Monday the 13th and here we are now on Jan 8th and I still dont have my carService: Transmission
