Took my car here for the first time dealt with Sergio he was honest and super cool helped me out tremendously, great work I really appreciate it.And Dion was super cool to thanks for your help too Dion!Highly recommend this place.

Took my E39 BMW in to get a CV axle replaced, I brought a brand new one in and they incorrectly installed it and broke the part (they installed the part but it "bind up and broke while reversing off the lift"), then tried to tell me my differential was broken and I needed to pay for that as well plus a new axle (I was quoted over $500 for the diff alone) or if I wanted the car back I'd need to pay $75 for labor EVEN AFTER they broke the car (the install had it have been put in right would have been $150). Left with my car and -$160 after this since I had already paid for the new part. Then, proceeded to fix myself and it turns out the differential was completely fine and the incorrect axle install was the issue, put a used part in and spent a few hours wrenching using correct torque specs and the car works 100% fine now. Would not recommend this business to anyoneService: Steering & suspension replacement

Just wanted to give a quick shout-out to Dion at Freeport Automotive.When my car started sputtering and the check engine light illuminated, I naturally called the place down the street that I usually go to. But after learning they couldn t even get me an appointment for a week, I decided to look elsewhere.After a quick Google search, I found Freeport Automotive. Calling on a Friday, 10 minutes before closing, I was expecting it to go to voicemail. Instead, they answered the phone and told me I could bring it in the next morning. The very same day I brought it in, they called me with a diagnosis and what I could expect to pay.Just wanting to ask how things were going, I stopped by the shop on Monday. Being someone who s frankly more interested in the interior of a car than under the hood, I m pretty ignorant of the mechanics. Nevertheless, Dion showed me what was wrong, explained why it was happening, let me see the old and damaged parts, and gave me a clear indication of how long it would take and what it would cost.Being true to his word, I was contacted on the expected day and was charged the expected amount. I was really happy to find this place and was pleased to meet an honest mechanic. I ll definitely return if I have other car issues. Bonus points for being next to a great Thai restaurant could be a great lunch to wait out an oil change.Thank you Freeport Automotive!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

I have problems with my Honda 2020 and get helped from this place, they checked and run the test on the engine and turned out that the turbo charge has some problems, and they honestly said I need to go to dealer, but !! They don t charge me at all ,, thank you for advise

I m took my Honda accord 2020 in with all the warnings light turn on , I m so frustrated with this problem,,,They are run test on the engine and find out the battery was low voltage, Time to change, and the problem solved I asked him how much I have to pay, HE SAID , oh nothing I got you , This was very kind, I went to Honda dealership and the will change me 199$ just to run the test and I have to leave the car for 1 day !!! ( the are to big to care people like us who need the car for work ( I m Uber driver) Highly recommended you guy for this place, very helpful , honest, and knowledgeable and willing to help you , I appreciate very much and be able to get back to work!!! 10/10

I would recommend these guys. They were very friendly and professional. I brought my son's car in for a noise. They let me know what was wrong and fixed the simple issue even was able to replace his brake lights. The guys even held the car overnight for me. Thank you guys very much for all your help. Would definitely bring my car here again

I am pretty instinctively suspicious of auto mechanics, but these folks have been solid and honest on about a half dozen repairs for me now. Plus they have a feisty bulldog who guards the office. Can't beat a feisty bulldog.

My first visit was an oil change and at that service I was advised I would need my brakes done on my next service. Made an appointment for oil change and brakes and was later advised that my brakes were fine and he apologized for advising I needed them done. I also have plans to take a long road trip soon and asked about my spark plugs and tires and he said they are fine at this juncture. I will definitely return to a space that doesn t try to sell me services I don t need. They are now my go to spot for vehicle maintenance.Service: General repairs & maintenance

These guys are honest which is great to find. I went in to get all my car fluids changed and they let me know that a few of them still looked new so I should save my money and wait to get them changed. I really appreciated the honesty. Plus, their prices are reasonable. When I take my car to get serviced, I feel like I'm paying a fair price for the services (which is the opposite of how I feel when I leave the dealership).Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Called in on a Saturday to get my oil changed. Sergio picked up my call and very friendly. He was able to squeeze me in the same day. Arrived at 12 and Sergio went right to work on my car. Super friendly customer service. Got me in and out very quick and professional. Best part about it the price was amazing. A++++ rating. Will be returning for all my car needs.

I made an appointment 2 days ago and they fit me in for an early appointment on this 4th of July weekend. Just got back with an oil change and a no charge check of an engine light that just came on. It was just the gas cap. I was in and out of there in no time. Friendly and fast service, as before.

Had my radiator and thermostat replaced in my 2013 Toyota Avalon. The grand total was $1000. This was pretty shocking, but I needed to have it done so I paid for it. Afterwards I noticed the smell of coolant coming from the engine. I took my car back and we discovered that the tech forgot to reattach the clamp on the radiator hose. I had to drop it off again so a different technician could reattach the hose clamp, top of the fluid that had been lost and clean up the engine bay. Afterwards I went to sell the car. The buyer opened up the hood and saw coolant residue everywhere. He was reluctant to buy it but had his mechanic look at it. His mechanic said that the newly replaced radiator and thermostat were fine, but the there was still excessive coolant in the engine bay and I was a gallon short. This costed me the sale.

What a breath of fresh air this place is! I finally found a mechanic that is open and honest with me instead of trying to sell me needless repairs. I know next to nothing about cars and have always felt uncomfortable at other shops. These guys hooked me up on the a/c recharge for me LS Datsun. It can be difficult finding shops that will work on motor swaps but they did not hesitate to take a look and let me know if they could help me out. I had an appt this morning for a diagnostic, when I arrived the door was locked like they were still closed and someone was on the phone inside ( even though they were supposed to be open). Disappointing because the person I dealt with to make the appt, seemed really nice and also ready to help me fix my car.

I had a appointment to get a diagnostic engine check because my car was overheating. My appointment was at 1pm but I drop it off at 9am. Sergio had my car diagnosed and repaired by 2:30. He had to replace the water pump. It was very fast service.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

A profession group of mechanics. I stopped by to get my check engine light checked out. They couldn't check out my vehicle at the moment and asked me to make an appointment for later. As I was driving out of the parking lot, the owner flagged me down and told where I could go that day to get my check engine light analyzed. He didn't have to do that. I appreciate him taking the time to help me out. I will definitely be taking my vehicles to Freeport Automotive in the future. Alan

I got pulled over for a blown tail light. Went to buy replacement bulbs. These guys changed them for me. In and out in a few minutes. Very friendly guys. Will come back for my car maintenance needs.

These guys fast, thorough, and honest. I was originally quoted almost 800 for a repair but it turned out the sensor I needed was far less than they were quoted. They could have pocketed that difference but instead they saved me about 300 bucks! They just earned my business for life.

This was a horrible experience! Not only did they overcharge, they also failed to check anything wrong with the vehicle. I brought in my car because it had major issues they only fixed the radiator and didn't even run a diagnostics test. My vehicle came back with more problems than originally brought in for. Now im stuck here on the side of the road at 1043 pm a hour away from home necause of the lack of attention to details. And I guarantee they won't take any responsibility for my predicament even though they told be my car was ready to drive..... Well here it os still over heating. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS SHOP

I switched from my long time service provider at a dealership because Freeport Automotive has good people and I know what I'm getting and why I'm paying the amount I'm paying I get results that I expect every time
