I absolutely love their device, I have had a couple issues but I was able to get in touch with them and they were extremely nice and helpful. I really don't have any issues with the device and am very happy that DMV Mandatory Action recommended them to me. I was literally removed from another ignition interlock company because I had so many problems. This device has only requested twice to blow again. I would recommend this company their device is excellent and yes it may take a little bit to get a hold of them but when you do they are so great they have so much patience which is absolutely appreciated. The cost is NOT outrageous. I have only been charged $40 once and that was because I didn't hear the system buzzing and missed blowing. I didn't like having to pay $40, but I messed up and that was the consequence for it and that's what the contract I signed stated could happen. So it wasn't like they never informed me of the fee but I just didn't think it would ever happen. I would recommend them. I don't drink anymore so if you're a non-drinker too, I believe this company will work great. Thank you to everyone at Alco Alert you have all been great! Just a couple of months left to go.

Don t use this company. There are tons of other options to go with and this one is not it. Defective devices that never work properly. It will randomly say you refused a test when no test was ever requested, then you will have to pay $40 just to keep your car from locking up. They will extort you for every penny and provide no solutions. It s nearly impossible to even get someone on the phone.

Second review please do not go with this company. Your device is basically already defective when they give you a new one. Come to find out the new one I was given has an outdated serial number and still is defective. You ll be run dry by this company with no help from the phone number to call. All the women on the phone are no help, no one calls you if the technicians call on emergency you will regret every choice you ever made in your life with this company.

Same as other reviewers. I wouldn t recommend this company. The frequency that you have to breath is unacceptable compare with other companies. My commute is about 5 mins and I have to breath about 3 times. Also their device keeps failing once a week. I have talked to tech but he only recommends that I bring it for diagnostics only if it fails on a daily basis.

Very easy, came by they explained what's going to happen then signed some paper work and watch the introduction video by that time the device was already installed. Yes sometimes the device doesn't catch your breath but they explain it to you "not to turn the car off but unplug the device and plug it back in". If you forgot and messed up they will be flexible and will help you out step by step which didnt happen once, but Thank God the people where nice and understood my situation especially which this pandemic going on and helped me out.

They never answer the phone!! You have to call so many times it s ridiculous. Either call before lunch, or don t bother calling. It ll be two people in line you and another, by the time it gets to you.. they don t answer and goes to voicemail. I wish I went with a different company. Terrible!!!

This company is a SCAM! Their device is not working properly and gives so many refusals and they charge you $40 every time. My dad, he is 70 years old, installed this device voluntary for his safety. With this pandemic situation in the country, he is afraid of getting the COVID19 and uses sanitizer all the time before getting into the car. The device is so sensitive that it catches the alcohol from the sanitizer. They charge you $40 even for that. Based on their policy, that means that he is not supposed to use the hand sanitizer and is better to catch the COVID19??? They are supposed to be more flexible especially during this COVID19 pandemic situation, but they do not care. They make profit out of it. This company definitely needs to be reported.

This.place needs to work on their customer service, it's unacceptable the way they treat people. I would think that you would want to make the customer satisfied with your product and/or service or at least it should be. Not to mention they do overcharge for everything and have faulty devices. Just read all the reviews. I wish I would have before coming to this location.

Unlike the rest of these these folks having bad experiences mines was gud. The homie with dreds always was cool and was always very understanding & helpful. I d recommend Alco to my friends if they ever had to go threw this. Which I wouldn t wish this experience to my worst enemy.

They charge you 40$ for a code to unlock your vehicle when their device fails. Tells you it's your fault. It's a nightmare and definitely a scam. This company needs to be reported.

STAY AWAY from this ignition interlock device. Their devices are prone to have huge problems that will cost you hundreds of dollars. There devices keep sending reports of test refusals when in fact I have been following through with their breath tests. Save yourself some money and find another place to have your ignition interlock installed.

Dont use this service for you interlocl device. There are several flaws in the programming of the device and they will charge you 40 dollar fees for retest refusals that occur as a result of programming glitches.

Absolutely worst customer service. Please find a way to restaff employees from corporate to the office. Would not recommend this service to ANYONE. Avoid at all cost!

I have had this divisive in my truck for 2 years and 4 months and have had trouble every since this morning 8-23-19 I was driving to work I handed to keep unplugging and plugging it back in lke14 times 45 min I've had like 6 different akco alert breathalyzer out in my truck this is getting old now I have to miss work today to travel an 1 and a half to get it fixed horrible.
