I've been bringing my vehicles here for the past 6-7 years, and they are simply the best in the area! Came in for a smog check this time and mentioned that my hood had some play when it was closed, but that I had no idea how to adjust it. Matt took care of it at no extra charge. What a great business! they will continue to be my "go-to" for any and all service on my vehicles!

The team is professional and friendly. I made an appointment for my smog and was seen on time, and the check was completed quickly. I'm definitely going to be a return customer for all my auto seevices.

My Jeep needed a smog test. I hit a wall looking for an auto shop that was open or had a certified smog member on board. I was referred to GC Aotomotive. I had no knowledge of GC Automotive. They scheduled me for the next day. The staff was professional and personable. The service was quick. I was fortunate to have been referred to them. I will not hesitate to contact them for future service; large or small. Thank you Gold Country.

If I could have given them a Zero I would have! The only reason I went there is because they are a AAA certified mechanic. The guy gave me quote for fixing the car that was 4 times more expensive then any other mechanic in the area. He also charged me 100$ for the inspection even though I told him what was wrong with the car. They are thieves. Don t go there!!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

good experience, The great thing about Gold Country Automotive is their uncanny ability to quickly diagnose problems thus saving unneeded parts and going down rabbit holes. No go backs, problem solved when GC Automotive is done. Kudos to Matt and crew.

Attitude, Helpful and Trustworthy is how I felt after dealing with Matt. I will not return to Mercedes of Rocklin when Gold Country is so close!

took my car in for an oil change. got a ride to my appointment and picked me up after. Kevin found more wrong with my car, so I was given a ride home. I feel I get personal treatment at GCA. When I ask if the fluids were checked and they say yes, I go through my list; yes they checked them all. I ask them to treat my car as if it was theirs and their Grandma was going to drive it. I think they do.

A friend of mine needed his passenger-side mirror fixed. They found the EXACT part needed, fixed it - FAST - and did a FLAWLESS JOB!! AMAZING!!

I have a beloved (old) Toyota Echo. It has had various old-car problems this year, and though some of them were both difficult to diagnose AND diffiult to repair, the group at Penn Valley Gold Country Automotive kept at it till they were all fixed. I tell my friend at Lake Wildwood about the good, local car repair offered by this shop, so convenient, and very capable.

Bad bad service I will never go there again. Now I'm having to take legal action to get my money back. Actually no star at all. If this is because the owner is getting a divorce well 50 percent of all of couples get divorced, doesn't mean your business has to go under.

My girlfriend brought our Subaru by to have the shop see where an exhaust leak sound was coming from. The mechanic charged her $62.50 for a total of 10 minutes of work. The diagnosis was apparently free, so the 5 minutes to reconnect a loose hose was $62.50. Avoid this shop.
