This review is mainly for Steve (their Tire installer). He is a little brunt, but extremely honest. He has replaced tires on 4 of our vehicles, and done an excellent Job. He even noticed on one that the tires I had ordered were all damaged, and pointed it out before installation, so that we could exchange them for good tires. He also is very sharp and follows your instructions with precision. Steve also is good about replacing the valve stems, which is extremely important on our pre-TPMS vehicles. As for the customer service experience with the phone line (good luck getting an employee), and the folks who check you in are slow if you can even find one--same with checkout & vehicle pickup. I haven't used Walmart for any other vehicle services, but the conventional wisdom is that if you do take your vehicle to a quick lube place, you only take it there for lube changes, so that when they over torque your drain plug bolt or forget to fill your oil you can show it was not another shop's fault.

Bought 4 tires online and scheduled installation. The appointment was cancelled because my tires haven't arrived yet even those it said available at store when I ordered them. After one week of waiting, I called them and they said that tires still haven't arrived. Couple more days passed, I called to cancelled my order and I couldn't. Had to call back and forth for that. Finally, a lady had to manually create a ticket to cancel that order.

Changing the oil at the tire shop was a failure. After the procedure, it was noticed that the bolt was not tightened properly and oil was leaking onto the drive all night. In addition, this procedure took 2 hours, and as a result, they lost my keys along with the documents, and could not let me go for a long time. Not satisfied with the quality of service and waste of time.

Brought our 2018 HRV in for an oil change. Vehicle was 100% fine previously husband took it to work the following day and started to hear a noise underneath the car then the noise stoped. We drove out of town started to hear the noise again and the entire skid plate is hanging down catching air. Look at the paperwork from the oil change and it says the skid plate is missing bolts. I was NEVER informed of this.And why wasn t it fixed? And even if I had been there is no excuse. I wouldn't trust Walmart to change my bike tire at this point. I ll be contacting a manager and demanding my money back as a start.

Bought a set of 4 tires for my friend's car after they had a blowout, the day after getting the tires I got a call from my friend saying one of the tires was flat. Figured it was bad luck, but after bringing it to a Goodyear I learned it was leaking from the stem that they didn't replace! I tried to call to make an appointment multiple times over 2 days but wasn't even put on hold just had the call ended. If you're low on cash and they're a sale on a tire I get that but be very weary of this placeEdit: when I brought it back to have them replace the stems I was told that I would have to leave it there all day essentially, that's more of a industry wide standard but thought I'd mention that also

Caught a flat in Roseville and live 40 miles away, I drove 15 mins to the closest Walmart and on a flat tire. They told me that they were not able to fix my tire because they re not mechanic.. mind you I asked to replace the tire. I am here with a 5 year on stuck, upon the customer service team coming to my car he called me a sir and I will tell you now I don t look like a sir but because I have a hat on that s instantly what I was called and I am very offended. This is at 5:30 pm and they don t close until 7. I would understand if they were super busy but I am over at Sam s club now and can see them and there is no one in the line. Screw Walmart

I got an oil changer on my truck at this location, the guy that checked my car in was good no problems. When my trucks turn was up to get the oil changed I let the guy who was doing it know that my dip stick was not OEM and it was short so it wouldn't read when it was full. He told me not to talk to him because he was trying to concentrate. I told him anyway. Latter they day I noticed the handle that is next to the windshield was pulled away from the frame. I checked it out and the guy that did my oil change snapped the handle from bracket pulling him self into my truck and dint say anything.

So I show up at 6:00am to be sure I m first in line to get new tires waiting patiently for them to open at 7:00am. The tech then tells me I need an appointment! So I then ask if I can make an appointment? He says they re all booked for the day! So I asked if I can make an appointment for tomorrow? He says I would have to purchase the tires and take them with me! Sorry I m not driving around with my car full of tires smelling like a tire shop! So at this point I didn t even know what to say because I was just mind blown that they have no open appointment slots available for the whole entire day which tells me they have like 50 cars driving around with tires in their back seats

Good luck calling this location. Maybe 1 out of 5 attempts will someone actually pick up the phone. My rating isnt about the folks working in the auto department. Its specific to the corporation Walmart.I ordered some tires to be delivered to this location, and since the order is back ordered I can't cancel my order? Makes no sense

I LOVE to be pleasantly surprised. I ve read some sketchy things but the other half insisted I take my car in for an oil change there because he had just done it, everything went well and the price was unbeatable. Arrived and got quickly checked in my Greg, maybe an hour went by? Maybe an hour and a half? Received a text alerting me that my car was ready to be picked up. Check out was quick and painless as well. The real kicker is that this was on a SUNDAY afternoon.. probably one of the worst/busiest days to show up. We will definitely be coming back again and hope it goes as smoothly next time too.Service: Oil change

The worst experience I have ever had getting an oil change. I was first checked in by Jimmy, at 8:05am there was 2 cars in front of me. I had a small child with me so I wanted to confirm how long it would take so Jimmy said it should be about an hour you just have this one car ahead of you . So then I confirmed and said okay so I ll come back around 9:05 right? and he said yes. Come 9:15 they just then start servicing my car! And instead of Jimmy saying hey sorry my time was wrong we re running behind he rudely comes in and says I said an hour and forty five and I let him know that he did not say that and that I even confirmed my come back time with him so he continues to argue with me and then walks off saying well I know what I said . The cashier lady seemed to be understanding that he was being out of hand but when talking to the man giving me my keys about how unacceptable that behavior was he decided to turn away and not respond back to me. Will absolutely never be back again, they should learn how to be real men and own up to their mistakes and apologize.Service: Oil change

These geniuses don't know how to properly change oil. I used to have them change my oil because I live in apartments and I could buy top of the line oil from Walmart and pay $15 for them to change it. Well they don't even know you're supposed fill the new oil filter with fresh fluid before you install it, it's called priming the filter. Then I noticed they changed the oil after they already installed the new filter! Who taught these people how to do an oil change completely backwards and incorrectly? Next time I'll just do it myself. Not to mention they lost the caps to my valve stems after "filling my tires with air" which upsets me I literally just got all new tires and matching chrome caps for the valve stems. Plus they filled my washer fluid with hose water instead of using the recommended washer fluid I use. I didn't even ask them to check my tires or windshield washer fluid.Service: Oil change

Extremely upset with this location. I came in for an oil change and was told it would be about an hour. Almost two hours later, I noticed my car was out in the parking lot and had been through. I went to the counter and after 5 minutes of the lady trying to find my paperwork and keys, she tells me they couldn't perform the oil change. Not their fault as the last shop cross threaded the bolts on my pan but...they did not text or call me, or try to inform me in anyway that my car service could not be done. I wasted almost two hours there for nothing. Extremely unprofessional and unorganized. Never going back again.

Today I came in for an oil change and tire rotation, they don't look busy but they say it will take 85-90min, 'that's fine' I say, I'm on no rush just more browsing in store for me. I get a call 30min later saying one of their colleagues left and there are 2 cars behind me waiting for oil changes, not sure what that has to do with anything as he said he was trained on tire rotations and I arrived before them and was booked in for my service first, alas he says he can't do it... I go to pick up my vehicle 15min later, total time 45min, expecting to be here another 45min and there are 2 people just standing there doing NOTHING, I get a call so I'm in my truck parked in front of the bays for about 5min, they still just standing there talking when I leave, it's 1 hour until closing time and no cars in the bays. Are these 2 people not trained to do tire rotations or were they just lazy? I felt like saying something to them but didn't want to as even if I called them out I wouldn't want them changing my tires now anyway...

Honored warranty and replaced battery. They usually have long lines and are short staffed but the staff they do have works quickly. Walmart needs to hire adequately and not burn out their staff

There are too many other tire stores instead of trying to go here. I called to give Walmart a try since my other places I tried couldn't get me in the same day.This was a huge disappointment. When I called the Auto Center number I was on hold 4 times for a long time each time. When the final person answered the phone, it was like they were mad at me for calling. It was a very uncomfortable phone call. When I had asked what tires they had in stock that would fit on my car, they said that they cannot answer that and to just tell them a tire size. When I told them the size that I currently have and they didn't have it, I asked what other sizes I could possibly use. They then got really aggravated and started talking to me in a demeaning tone like I was an idiot. I was super polite and nice to them the whole time and still was treated horribly.

They did a great job. They need to hire more staff. The service writer was the one who changed the oil. That guy really hustled. They should give him a raise. He's doing the work of three men.

I come to this walmart as it is closer to my home. I got my oil changed here twice and both times it took over 3 hours and I was here before they opened. I was 2 in line my first time and I was 3 my second time. Very bad customer service. Both times when i got back into my car they leave grease fingerprints on my window,steering wheel,shifter and my hood. I took my car to pleasant grove Walmart auto center and it was much more professional and they left my car clean.

Love the price, team is doing best, but I would want them to have better systems and processes so they are not seemingly going from random task to another random task. Filters need to be automatically showing to them on a monitor with a photo and visual of proper tools to use, etc. Also should automatically show oil to use, etc. Saw guys constantly lugging boxes of oil out too.

Got tires at a great price and installation took about an hour. Though employees seem to work at a semi-slow pace, I appreciated the attention to detail and quality of service. The only place where I will buy my tires from now on.

Tech service guys in tire bay oil change service area are absolutely amazing !Did a great patch on my tire when it had a huge screw then turned out I had a second very small screw 6 months later did an amazing job stayed late ! Nothing but glowing recommendations all around!!!!

Prices were good. The person who set up my service was very nice and helpful. The lady who was working when I paid was most likely there as a prisoner and or had filled her shoes with thumb tacks.

We got a good deal on our tires. And the people who work there are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this Walmart auto center. I just wish there were more of them around, because our road hazard warranty will be inconvenience to enforce.

Helpful and friendly service. I was there 30 mins. I got an oil change, they put air in my tires and washed the windshield. It was $45. For synthetic oil. Can't heat that!

Called multiple times before arriving and no one would answer the phone... decided to drive over anyways all the bay doors are open like stuff is getting done no one around.. Oh well I guess sometimes it just works out better to just change your own oil.

Price was reasonable, but employee was extremely condescending to myself. Asked him questions and he responded in a very rude manor as well as constantly correcting me over the littlest things. His name was Christian, try to avoid him if at all possible.
