Smog Busters is the most reasonably priced testing center I could find. They have a $20 coupon available on their website. I received my DMV notice, but misplaced it. The gentleman at the desk was very helpful and understanding. The entire visit took about 15 mins and I was out the door with my copy of the certificate and my receipt. 10 days later I received my new tags in the mail.

HELL NO!! DO NOT GO HERE. The 50 year old man child who works here, threw a tantrum because I showed him my $20 off coupon at time of payment. People are jumping into burning buildings at work and risking their lives but this mans day was ruined because he had to reprint the receipt (that took 10 seconds to do) - he has a MAJOR temper issue and wants to complain about the bare minimum. He came back to the counter and started a 10 min argument with me because of the coupon. AMAZING. Maybe a margarita and a new job can solve this one. :)

I wouldn't recommend this it's too pricey for the lack of service they provide. I also noticed he doesn't care about female customers. Based on the way he looked at me made me feel like it bothered him seeing an independent woman. I had to walk up to a window and wave to get attention. There was a sign saying I couldn't knock on the window or go inside. Normally, I wouldn't mind, but it was 100 degrees outside. There was only an older man, probably in his late 50s. I told him about the coupon that I had. He ignored me and continued printing my invoice. He then took my information, and he got upset because I kept asking him to repeat his question. I was unable to hear him due to traffic in the area. Once I provided my information and my keys. I assumed he had a team to do the smog on my car, but no, it was him. Where it's located, its dirt rode, so he stepped on the gas and went in the back of the shop. Now, all this time, he did not talk to me or told me what to expect. He just disappeared. After 15 minutes or so, he then came back and stepped on the gas and slammed the brakes of my car. Another woman was asking for a smog, and he just pointed to the chair and kept walking. To get my attention, he pointed at me to walk up to the window, and he went inside. I once again told him about the coupon that I had and started cussing at me and yanked my information from my hands and walked back to his desk. Kept arguing with me and cussing out. I explained I told him from the start I had a coupon, and he ignored me. After all that, he gave me my keys back. I had to ask if my car passed or not. All upset, he said yes, it passed and pointed to the lady next in the chair and ignored me. I had a horrible experience with this place. I don't recommend it if you're a female he has a different mentality or expectation of a woman.

They were great! Right across the street from the Wal-Mart Marketplace. They were quick and nice! They also gave a $20 off discount if you mentioned their add online. Thanks again!

Quick and easy. Print the coupon on the website for $20 off. I have a 2016 Prius and I only paid $52 for smog.

Staff is little rude if you visit last 30min, but did what they supposed to do quickly and also considered my online coupon even after printing initial estimate.

Highly recommend this smog shop! One of the owners, Dave, did a nice gesture for my husband & son one day & he mentioned owning this smog shop. As repayment for the kind gesture I wanted to come use their services and I was not disappointed. Incredibly fast service & a great family owned shop! Got to the shop right when they opened and I was in & out in less than 15 minutes. Safe to say I will be recommending this place to everyone! Woman owned? Definitely run by the man at the little window who treats women as an inconvenience for asking a question. I didn t need to be treated as a dumb person who doesn t talk as fast as you want me to, either. Don t slam your window in anyones face. Will NEVER give this man my business!!!

These guys used to be in the car wash next door but are no longer affiliated with them. I've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. They're quick with best prices I've found (they always offer their coupon rate even if you don't have one). Family-owned business with a nice waiting room. UPDATE: I originally posted the review 7 years ago and I m happy to say that nothing has changed. I own 4 cars so smog checks are part of my life. I either go to the Roseville location or to the one in Loomis and I have nothing but good things to say about both of them. You won t be disappointed.

I went right when they opened today at 8:30, one car ahead of me and I was out by 8:45. I work in the grocery business for a company that prides themselves in customer interaction and service. I have a high standard for customer service by what I do and Smog Busters checked all the boxes in my book. I ve been to another Smog place in Rocklin, took an hour + being there at opening, this place has my business for the future. I ve been coming here for years, won t go anywhere else. Fast, friendly, honest, and super helpful! Even though they get you in and out, the waiting area is large and comfortable, plus I never have to worry about looking for a coupon because they always give me the deal without asking.

Quick in & out, give the DMV paperwork at window & pay about 15 minutes later.Sit & wait at tables under the awning.Friendly staff, cert is sent over automatically to DMV.No complaints.

This establishment has been here for close to 9 years, and I have been here several times and every time I come here I am in and out. They are very professional and do quality work but most of all they are the most reasonable in price. Furthermore Dave really makes everyone feel right at home, he welcomes you with such courtesy and professionalism. Hopefully everyone that is in need of an honest smog check, then you need to visit SMOG BUSTERS.

The owner who helped me is so nice, down to earth, and personable. Exceptional service, I will always go back here for a smog & recommend to anyone.I was scheduled and had to come in later than my appointment due to work and there were no issues changing and I was able to keep my car there until I got off work a few Hours later. they are flexible & easy going!

Fast and cheap with friendly service and a comfortable waiting area - not that you'll be there long enough to enjoy it. I was in and out in under 15 minutes without calling ahead. Crazy fast. Smog Busters is definitely my new service center! Grab their online coupon for extra savings.

Certainly surprised this place had so many 5 star reviews. I went to the Roseville location, and the guy at the front was extremely rude. I don't know if maybe he was filling in for the real service writer, but I won't be sending anyone there. Ever.
