Enrique and his team are the best, honest, quality, and price in town!I just got my 90k maintenance and inspection on my prius and it was much less than the dealership. Well worth it. And I know my money is going to the best pockets!My prius is very happy and says hello!This family Business is a great success thanks to Jehovah and his love and his holy spirit is here.Thanks Sierra Gear!

These People are Great!! Hard to find a family shop who takes pride in their work and wants to help people with reasonable cost auto repairs. Honest fast and the highest quality in Sacramento Area. I will only use Sierra Gear shop.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Sierra Gear shop is one of the few teustworthy auto shops left in town. I'd teust them with anything automotive and their rates are friendly on the wallet.

Staff has always been very nice and personable to me. I'm pretty meticulous so they were very patient with me. Had a problem shifting gears, one shop said I needed transmission, Sierra Gear thoroughly checked it out, and I Judy m needed flush. I love them.

I've used this place many times in the past, Enrique is one of the most knowledgeable mechanics I've ever met and he and his staff are among the most friendliest people you will ever meet. Moreover, on top of the great service it comes with it has a very decent price tag that it's impossible to pass up. I highly recommend this place.

I used to work for a company that would have my company truck serviced and repaired here. My work truck went there numerous times in the year and a half i drove it for repeated issues. My boss said they are a good company and had me take my personal truck there and helped pay for an engine replacement. I have had a few issues since then some my fault ( I provided cheap coil packs). My motor was having a studder dropped it off drove away and it was immediately doing the same thing. I took it back they replaced half of my coil packs. Picked up my truck and it was still doing the same thing. It has also been ticking lightly ever since i got the new motor and was told that it is normal ( I took it to several other mechanics that said otherwise). I have not wanted to take it back there since I am tired of going back for the same problems plus i live over an hour away. Recently I was driving and started seeing steam and my truck went into low power mode. I looked myself and could see that my lower radiator hose was leaking close to the motor. Simple enough repair to do myself so I cut it out as i am struggling to shove my hands in there. After removing the hose I examine it looking for the hole. All i find is the cuts i put in it with my blade. I look at the ends and see the clear imprints of the hose clamps on the ends of the hose. The problem was where it connected to the motor it was never fully put on. The hose clamp imprint showed where the hose was never on all the way and the hose clamp even missed a small part of the hose where radiator fluid was able to work its way through. The family that owns the shop are very kind and I am sure they do their best but this is unacceptable on top of the fact that when I came tocheck on the progress of my engine replacement I saw that they had stacked parts of my truck on top of the cab of my truck and my sunroof no longer works since then. I have not gone over all of this with the shop and I will update this post when I have spoken to them about my concerns and what they have to say. I expect they will finally take care of the problems because I feel they are an honest, honorable repair shop.

They are amazing! They do an excellent job and they do better, faster, and cheaper than any repair shop. If you want a big-name repair shop quality, without paying a big-name repair shop price, there the guys to call!

About a month ago my car started leaking water just a bit, but then all of a sudden it was a lot. I had to put water in it every morning and at night before i left work. Then out of the blue it overheated. While at my apartment i was putting more water in it and the maintence man walked by and said, do you have a good mechanic? I said no not really. He told me about Enrique and his shop. So the next day i called him, and took my car in. He fixed my car in under 4 hours. Replaced the water pump, timing belt and serpine belt along with some gaskets that was also causing an oil leak that i had not clue was coming from. His service was excellent and his staff were pleasant. I will be taking all my car needs to him. Nice to find a shop that doesnt try to over price or make you pay for more then is necessary. Enrique and his crew are amazing. After spending over $3000 on repairs for my car, to fix rough idling and misfires, everything from a brand new head, to new plugs, wires, coil, battery, as well as an assortment of other things, one trip to Sierra Gear Shop fixed all my problems. I was actually starting to get depressed because I really couldn't afford much more, I was left with one leg to stand on.. I really needed someone to come through for me and fix the problem! One day was all it took.. the problem? A camshaft sensor. My other shop admitted looking at it, but it was Enrique who spent the time to actually check it. The cost? Less than $150.. and I have a brand new car again. Thank you again Enrique.. I will be back!

Family business, very honest, good work, good prices, everything you'd want in a service shop. I'm a gearhead and get a lot of calls from friends needing work done on their cars and I send them to Enrique all the time. Highly recommended.Dan

I've taken a 2012 Forester needed AC compressor replacement, 03 Forester needing a transmission and drive shaft replacement, an 05 Outback Sport in limp mode, a 2013 WRX needing break work and an 01 Toyota Tacoma that wouldn't pass smog.Each vehicle they fixed the first time, and always came under everyone else's quotes.I won't take my cars anywhere else

Went in with trans problem with my jeep. Were very honest and told me I didn't even need a repair just to give the new fluid and conditioner a chance to work but if not they gave me a reasonable quote on labor if in the future I decide to get a new trans.

Great group of people over at Sierra Motor Sports! Beware if trying to locate SMS for the first time...theres a sign in front that implies a Honda shop is there.
