Tried using Hyundai service in Roseville when I bought my used Sonata back in 2019. It was a chore to work with them over about a two-year period and I finally left and went to our local provider that works on our other vehicles. Had to go back recently for a dealer specific service issue and found that nothing has changed. I called to schedule the appointmet on 11/9 and the first available was 12/1. This was not a surprise or the issue. Appointment was for 11:15 AM (they tell you don't come early). Arrived on time went in to the service desk to let them know I was there. They said to please wait in my vehicle and someone would be out shortly. Sat for 20 plus minutes without being greeted and so I left. When you have to wait for three weeks to get your vehicle in, you would expect to receive at least basic common courtesy. So essentially nothing has changed from my prior experiences. To me this speaks of a dysfunctional operation, bad management and a poor service based culture. If you expect to be treated as a valued consumer of a high-end purchase, this is not the place for you in my opinion.

The service department is definitely not focused on service. I bought my new Hyundai Tucson from the Roseville dealership and was promised free servicing for 3 years. YEAH!!! It s free if you want to wait 3 to 4 hours for an oil change. I had an appt at 10:30 am and they never even talked to me until 11 am. When I was told about how long I would have to wait, I drove off to Walmart.

Got a flat 2 months into my ownership. SILLY me thought I might have tire warranty (I did not). Ok I'll buy the tire. Initial care specialist said tire was not there locally. Leave the car there the tire would come in from another dealership the next day. LOL. It did not. Three days went by. NOBODY CALLS me to tell me anything. I called and the guy had completely forgot they still had my vehicle there. SAYS tire might be there that day and they would change it as soon as they got it. O and he was going on vacation, different guy took over. OMG this next guy.... (bald guy).... SHOULD NOT BE in customer service. Some people just do not belong in customer service. Call the guy had to explain this to him from scratch. He had not read his notes. I called him two days later again. BUT THE WAY he talked to me, despondent. Something like "WHAT DO YOU EXPECT?" we dont have the tire? mind you over a week had gone by for something I would consider should be fixed on a few hours.... I almost felt he wanted to curse at me. I AM NOT A FRICTIOUS person, I respect everyone and try to soften my interactions. THIS WAS NOT WARRANTED AT ALL. Anywho.... at this point I started to think maybe I go buy a tire outside (note... I should have done just that).two more days go by, I CALL not them. He had already forgot me again.... says let me check on the tire he was supposed to call me. DID NOT. I call again almost at the end of the day. And he says the tire MIGHT be there the next day. WHAT KIND OF ANSWER IS THAT for a vehicle that has been there a week and a half. Anywho, one more day I thought.... the next day.... I called at lunch and he says the tire will be there in an hour. So I said finally. Call @3 ish. HE SAYS THEY WONT GET TO IT THAT DAY. LOL I lost it there. I NEVER YELLED AT HIM OK I dont do that. Or disrespected him I had already researched another tire that is available everywhere. SO I knew I could go to Walmart and get it done that day. I hung up and went in person and I said. I DO NOT WANT YOUR TIRE. Give me my car I WILL INSTALL the spare tire and drive. HOW MUCH for the inspection of the tire? Then he says why? literally. I told him.... at every turn you tell me next day and it's been two weeks for something that should take 3 hours normally. WHY would I trust you will do it tomorrow? HE LOOKS AT ME like he wants to punch me. LITERALLY. What a HORRIBLE person in customer service. Goes to talk to someone without saying anything else. Says give me half an hour I got someone to change the tire.TWO WEEKS took place for all this.When my first oil change was due. Mind you I change my own oil. I had done an oil change at 1k miles. Another at 5k ( I change it every 4 normally) they recommend it at ~7k so I went at 7k. YEAH right.... the appointment could only be scheduled like 4 weeks out. I thought who cares, my oil is still fresh anyways. I get there. Sit there for 30 minutes. Finally decide to go in the office. ~5 care specialists all looking busy on the phone/computer. I stand there for maybe ~2 minutes waiting to see if ANYONE would ask why I am there. NOPE, nobody. I then said Hellooooo normal voice... they all pretend they did not hear me. I decide to wait 3 or 4 minutes so one of them would hang up or look up. Finally guess who gets up. Mr BALD guy from the story above. Starts chit chatting with Customer Specialist next to him, for about maybe ten secs. Then walks back to make copies. Then I decide to say Excuse me pretty loud and clear. THEY HEARD ME, but just keep going pretending i am not there Like when you are busy. FINE I can wait. MR Bald guy came back from making copies. LOOKS AT ME directly for ~2seconds. SMILES/LAUGHS condescendingly and just sits there continuing what he was doing. MY MOUTH dropped at that point. I turned around, got on my car, left. Then I tried to see at the Folsom then Elk Grove service centers. Both had appointments two months out. I did not even go in. How could I time my oil change that way.

I had an insurance related repair done recently. Hyundai Roseville kept me informed far better than Geico did. Fast. Efficient. Good customer service.

Chris and Daniel have both helped me with my 2018 Elantra GT, these guys are the best. They both have gone out of their way to get me help, Chris helped me with a windshield wiper that had failed and Daniel currently is helping me with some electronic issues. Daniel also found out that I had an extended warranty that I have forgotten, that alone was a huge help and saved me $$$$. my odometer missed my warranty by 80 miles (Thats when it always happen, right when it expired). Thanks to these 2 gentleman I have absolute confidence of buying another Hyundai w/Extended Warranty On a side note we as a family have owned 2 Elantra s, 1 Tucson and now this Elantra GT. This is the first time we ve had issues with a Hyundai but then again the other 3 were leases.

I don't understand how a company that does not support the servicing of their own vehicles can stay in business this long. I want to thank the Roseville Hyundai service center and the Folsom Hyundai service center for giving us such horrible service. We are so much happier nowThey're horrible service propelled us to trade in our 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe for a new Tesla!We are so happy with our new car purchase.And when Tesla came to our house for a quick service fix. I knew I had made the right move. We had to wait weeks to get in for service at any Hyundai center.

The service department does not update you on vehicle repair progress. This is the second time there, and my car has been there for 3 weeks already. The first time, it was there for 1 and half months. If I ever buy a hyundai again, which is doubtful, i would not bring it here for service.

Tried to get our leased Palisade serviced here months ago and they had a 6 hour wait so we had rescheduled the appointment. I rescheduled the same service appointment and the same thing happened again so I decided to do all the service myself since their service SUCKS! Today I called to get a recall appointment serviced and was on hold on the phone for over 15 minutes. I love the car; but honestly, I can not WAIT to be done with our lease so I will never have to deal with this dealership again. I miss our Hyundai dealership in Sunnyvale. I never had any issues with them. You show up at your scheduled time and you're done in an hour. It was like clockwork for over 3 Leases with them. Roseville Hyuandai SUCKS! Do NOT use this dealership. RUNNNN Forrest RUNNNNN. Go somewhere else!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I literally just got off the phone with Michelle she has HORRIBLE customer service. I m dealing with an engine issues due to a recall. All I did was call to tell them it was going to be towed and she laughed in my face when I told her what kind of car I had because there s so many black Santa Fe s I m sure there was a nicer way of going about that without making me feel like an idiot. Y all need to teach Michelle some customer service skills and maybe some sympathy as you have no clue what people might be going through.

I had an appointment which I scheduled back in June for Sept 30th. Unfortunately I got covid and had to call and cancel. When I did they had no record of my appointment. Folsom and Roseville are really bad.

I have Hyundai Ioniq 2019 and the battery keep dyeing. I'm under warranty period and when I try to request appointment, they said you have to wait for three months. I can go fix this outside but not sure if there would be warranty issues.I cant to go anywhere as I have only this car, Management should consider this type of request as emergency instead of following regular schedules

My last 3 cars were all Hyundai, and so will my next car when needed. My current Hyundai is over 13 years old and absolutely problem free. Their customer service is absolutely amazing.
