Some times I just wonder if my cars really need so much work done or if the dealership just justifies extra work to be completed based on their sales goals. Perhaps they are taking advantage of my convenience of using the dealership just in case they found something that was covered by my new car warranty.I have a had two somewhat negative experiences with Roseville Chevrolet in the last year on two different occasions and two different cars. I really didn t have any negative experiences when the dealership was owned by John L. Sullivan over multiple years. New ownership seems too aggressive to make money in the service department.On two separate occasions their diagnosis of my car problems cost me well over $1,000 when I was just in for a basic oil change and service. In the end, the cost was more expensive than a typical tire store or a typical brake shop as applicable.

I had an appt between 7am and 730 which was great. Should have been in and out. But when I got there I was told my contract had been sold to someone else and I would have to go to Toyota. So I went to Toyota and they told me they didn't have my contract. I had to drive all the way back home to get all my paperwork from when I purchased my car and headed back to Chevrolet. By this time I had lost my spot in line. Arthur tried to figure out what was wrong and couldn't get the help he needed over the phone but decided to get me my oil service anyway. I was frustrated because now it was several hours later but ultimately I was happy. Not Arthur's fault but it could have been better.Service: Oil change

Horrible service. Had to search for a rep to take in my car after waiting 10 minutes in the drop off lane. Service was very expensive. Was told 3-4 hours for work but actually took 5 hours. Had to call twice after 4 hours to check status but got voicemail both times. Finally got a call back after two calls to inform me that car was ready. Cashier was not friendly at all and acted like she hated her job. Not even a than you for my $750. Don t recommend them for service. I will use alternate service centers for future work.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Ed was great. We had no idea what was wrong with my diesel but through my descriptions and limited knowledge, he was able to fix it for a lot cheaper than I expected. I will return

Went in for service the guy there charge me $129 for oil change and I told him I have a maintenance plan with them. He then said oh you should of told me earlier because the computer doesn't tell him what kind of service plan I have and I have that plan ever since I brought the truck back in 2020. Come to find out while driving home all my tires sensor are not working after they air it up which they didn't ask me about or let me know about and yes the sensor was working fine before I went in for service . I don't know what the service covers exactly but the guy should at least told me what it covers so now I need to find someone else to finish the rest. Definitely not going back once my plan is expired.

The scheduling & initially assistance by Matt was great. But when it was time to pick up my vehicle, I got no call. I had to call to inquire about the status. When I got to the dealership to pickup my car, Matt (or a service person) was there to describe what was done and how much it would be. I was merely directed to the cashier and told were to wait for my vehicle. When I got into my vehicle, there were some black plastic parts left on the passenger seat. Never ever had this happen at any dealership before. Not planning on going back. Thumbs down.Service: Battery

Of the 5 items that I wanted serviced, 3 were fixed and done well. One item was left completely off of the list I provided online and verbally to the service representative. One other item that I wanted replaced was not done as they stated the issue could not be duplicated. They had two days to duplicate a turn signal malfunction and didn't even inform me that it wasn't done. The turn signal malfunctioned less than 5 minutes after I left the dealership. That's a safety issue and was not addressed. I requested it be replaced, not looked into. Horrible communication. High pricing as well.

Arthur was great at the service department. However I am not happy with my car having a check engine light for the ac when the service department was not able to find anything wrong with my 2014 Chevy volt. $450 was not in my budget to spend on diagnostic and reprogramming. Ready to get rid of this car!

I had a repair done on my car that probably would have cost about $2,500, but they identified that the part was still covered by a warranty (car is just over 10 years old). Drop off was quick and easy and they had the new part installed by the following day. The whole process was very streamlined.

This time around the service was horrible. Made an appointment for an oil change and it took over 2 hours to do. The agent was rude, and kept trying to upsell me things. I told them I needed the car in 30mins for another appointment 45 minutes into the service and was told I'd have it back in about 15mins. 45 minutes later they slowly gave my paperwork to the cashier (which they needed to do in order for me to check out), which made me late for my next appointment. The service agent had no care about my schedule and asked if he should just leave the lug nut off my tire when I told him I needed my car back now 10 minutes prior to him giving the cashier my paperwork.My first appointment with the agent (2 different agents) I worked with was really nice and took good care of me and my family. This was the complete opposite experience. I don't want to give my money to them if they are going to treat me the way they did this time. I returned only because of my first experience.

I was provided AWESOME customer service. Robert scheduled me for a Friday. Decided to drop the vehicle off on a Wednesday, due to my work schedule. Vehicle was done same day. Robert provided great communication and followed through with other future services required for the vehicle. During my experience, Arthur was courteous and respectful. Made my experience awesome by truly paying attention of my concern.On the shop side. I am very disappointed with how the technician handled my car. I feel that they didn t take there time to take care of my issue with my car. 3rd time bringing in my car for an oil change after purchasing the maintenance plan and 3rd time being told we had no plan and must pay. Luckily this time we were smart and brought proof of purchase. Took almost 3 hours for an oil change (was first in line). The guy took my fob off my key chain (for no reason) then handed them back to me and said I don t know how to get it back on, you will have to figure that out . They did not wash my car or rotate my tires (supposed to be a part of the service plan).Will be taking my car to Epic Chevy in Sac from now on and will NEVER buy a car from this dealership again. Got there early, first in line and still didn't get out of there quick. Service guy was okay, the guy in the pick up line was outstanding (5) he took the time to get the change oil soon off my dash while explaining many other features my car has. 89.00 seems a little steep for an oil change but at this point I'm just glad I'm out of there. OHHHH AND THERE'S ANOTHER RECALL ON MY VEHICLE SO I GUESS I HAVE TO GO BACK...#$%&'@*%!!!!!Service: Oil change

Showed up for my appointment at 10 am and waited until 3:00 when I called on the status and they never even started to work on my car. I will make another appointment and stay there and not accept they have not had time to look at my car. Before John L. Sullivan sold his dealership service was excellent. Now that they are called Chevy at Roseville Auto Mall I would caution people about there lousy service

From start to finish, the service department was both communicative and relentless in providing the highest level of service while solving this complex issue. My situation required assistance from a warranty company, as well as a third party dealership. My advisor did an outstanding job navigating both companies to resolve my issues with very little assistance from myself. I will be returning will all my service needs in the future. When I bought my Chevy almost a year ago,I got the life time oil change package, brought the truck in for an oil change and tire rotation then was told there was new ownership and they wouldn t honor it. I d have to go to another dealership where they would honor it so they waste my time and effort they had it so cost me $107 for something that I already bought and paid for I worked with the gentleman they matt ,He was respectful, and that his hands were tied. He sent me to a salesman who was very rude, and he didn t care one bit that I purchased the truck and the package there at Chevy said I needed to go to two different dealerships that weren t even Chevy dealerships to get my oil change done, Matt did his job, but the salesman very unprofessional bad businessServices: Tire rotations, Oil change

I drive 45 minutes to go to this dealership because my service guy Ed knows his stuff and he takes care of you. I go in for my scheduled service and I get in right away. I did an update on my car and it had major issues. It would not start and check engine light was on. Called Ed and he walked me through what to do! He was dead on right with everything was perfectly fine. Brought it in for oil change that weekend and he had service check my issue to confirm everything was cleared.Service: Oil change

This is the second time I ve taken my truck in for an oil change and tire rotation where I sat in the waiting area for over 3+ hours. Both times I had an appointment first thing in the morning and I wasted my morning sitting there waiting for my truck to be serviced. Both times this happened Arthur was the service writer that initially helped me. I don t know if it his own fault but it doesn t look good on him. The first time it happened, I was going on hour 4 of waiting and Arthur walked in the waiting area and saw me then followed up with my truck and he said they forgot it was done. It had been done for 2 hours. The most recent time, after 3+ hours I asked for my keys and truck back because I was tired of waiting and had stuff to do that morning. When I talked to a different service writer to get my keys back he said my truck had been done but no one said anything when it was finished. This made me completely furious and I probably won t be coming back here for this service. Do better Roseville Chevy.Service: Oil change
