Took it in 3 times, paid for a refurbished transmission got a junkyard one placed the is shady . They do not honor their word or work. Had my daughters car for 3 months did not fix the problem. My daughter could have crashed and dies according to the mechanic. They refuse to fix this or give a refund. I will be taking this to court. I ve reached out to the vice president.

I had a 2018 mitsubishi Outlander SEL that quit working. I took it to 2 different automotive places and they couldn't figure it out I Google transmission places and Mr. Transmission popped up. I then spoke with Ricardo. He was very helpful and communicative. And then I spoke with Tom and he assured me. He had the right technician for the job. It took a little bit but they were able to figure it out. I'm very pleased and we'll be back. If you need anything for transmissions or car issues, I'd recommend taking it to Mr.transmissions

This place was super responsive and quick with diagnosing the issue with my clutch and got the job done in just a couple days, on the last day, it was done early on in the day. Very professional, honest, easy going, and pleasant experience! Highly recommend!

I am so happy I found Mr. Transmission when my transmission went out and the dealer wanted $10k to replace it. Mr. Transmission was able to rebuild the transmission for a fraction of the cost. It has been going great for 3 years now.I found out that they perform other repair and maintenance services outside of transmission repairs. I have since brought my cars here for other service and have never been disappointed. I recommended Mr. Transmission to my siblings and parents and now they bring their cars here too. We are all loyal customers now.The prices are very fair and they stand behind their work. Ricardo and Tom were very clear up front about how much each service would cost and kept me updated on the progress. They have never gone over the original estimate and have sometimes even completed the work for less than the estimate. That is honesty!I highly recommend Mr. Transmission. They do great work at a fair price. I don't take my cars to any other shop since finding Mr. Transmission.

Got my transmission diagnosed and later remanufactured here. Great Service! Timely results. Very patient responsive to questions about the repairs. Tom the owner makes sure everything is taken care of. All his employees are very friendly and caring people. We have our problems taken care of many times with Mr. Transmission and have been totally satisfied each time. You can depend on them to treat you very fair. Tom & Ryan over at Mr. Transmission of Roseville are really stand-up, honest guys when it comes to the work they do. They were always professional and courteous throughout the whole process of getting my transmission rebuilt in my 1978 Blazer. Even when things did not go smoothly (as they rarely do on 40+ year old vehicles), they were great at keeping me informed. Their prices are also very fair. I will be taking my beloved trucked back to Mr Transmission for additional work that needs to be done, and I highly recommend!

These guy s have to be the most honest repair shop I ve come across. Could have charged me hundreds or even thousands of $$$ and got out of there for $78. Would highly recommend you take your vehicle here if you have a transmission problem. The owner and staff were very friendly and the service was great. The owner told me they were very busy and probably couldn t get to my vehicle for a day or so. I dropped it off at 730 am and was out of there by 300 pm. Great people! As always, Mr Transmission did a great job on my repair, this one for an overheating issue in the engine cooling system. Identified the issue, confirmed that no other damage to the engine due to the overheat, and completed a quick repair. Were able to fit us in to the busy shop schedule due to the vehicle being out of service. Had them also look at an apparent issue with power steering, and they recommended that we not to anything, the cost of a repair would be prohibitive due to the design of the vehicle. As always, they continue to be fair, honest, and are my go to spot for all repairs, not just Transmissions as their name might imply.

Brought my car to Mr. Transmission and dealt with Tom. He was professional and timely in dealing with the replacement of the fuel filter. They completed the work within the time promised and the amount charged was reasonable. They contacted me when the work was done and made convenient arrangement for me to pick up the truck after hours. I will definitely use them again and would recommend them to others!!

This is an addition to a previous review...My 22 year old daughter is pregnant and a single mom. Tom Costello treated her as if she were his own daughter and because of his diagnosis on a car she was going to buy, saved her thousands of dollars in future repairs because of his honest feedback on the car for her. We ended up not getting that car and are getting into one that has a new engine instead!Thank you Tom!Tom and his team were thorough, honest and very attentive to my cars needs! Their work was done with excellence and I was treated as if I was their guest and not just a customer!I will recommend Mr Transmission to anyone in my circle of friends and influence to seek out Mr Transmission and the services they provide.

Had an appointment just to tell us that they can't take us on that day. Absolutely ridiculous my husband already requested that day off and made that whole day scheduled around it. Don't expect them to be trustworthy to keep appointment times. They didn't call, we called them to ask a few questions. Sad business practices.

They deserve 6 stars. I have been to a few other shops in town and none of them compare to Mr Transmission. I highly recommend building a relationship with this shop as they treat new customers like gold and returning customers like diamond.They repaired my transmission for much less than was expected, and the tran has outperformed our expectations, both in performance and lifespan.They are enthusiastic about discussing all phases of the job and all options available.My only complaint is that the shop is easy to miss from the road; the turn in is especially sharp and hidden by trees, but i encourage you to take your vehicle here the next time you need service.UPDATE:These guys... these guys are life-savers. Twice, they've repaired my transmissions. Twice, they've saved me thousands.Don't be like me, don't get robbed and lied to by the dealership service centers, don't listen to mechanics who tell you to replace a part when it can be repaired for hundreds or even thousands less. Just go straight to Mr Transmission.

Unfortunately I do not have the benefit of sharing the experience it appears other customers did with this shop and quite honestly it was their rating that made me decide to use them in the first place.After burning up my transmission on their initial test drive after repairing and having my truck for nearly 3 weeks they ended up replacing it with a rebuilt by another company. When they returned the truck to me they had destroyed my battery saying it was no good and returned the vehicle with an exhaust leak that it hadn't had when delivered to them. I called and left a message expressing the condition I received it back in and that I was incapable of returning the vehicle for another unknown amount time without the vehicle. When I finally returned it to them the owner attempted to cite the problem primarily on the defective battery (which I again reminded him was created by his crew). After a rude comment he hung up on me. I called back and warned him hanging up would not bring this to conclusion. I demanded to know about the exhaust leak at which he responded he had to have a part of the exhaust replaced because it was a manufacturer's defect as it does not reseal after removed. I again asserted this was the way he gave it back to me and that it was bad business to not accept responsibility for defects he creates while at his shop. He continued to argue and simply stated come and get your truck.. the keys will be in it. Interesting way to treat a customer that spends over $3,000 on a rebuilt transmission.Not taking ownership of your mistakes as an owner in my dealings is simply bad business. At the conclusion of the conversation the owner stated don't come back we don't want your business.Service: Transmission

Best customer service and work. Ricardo is the best. Making sure all my concerns were handled for my Honda. My car is running like new now. Thank you very much! Anyone having transmission issues I reccomend coming here!

My vehicle, a 3.0L V6 with a failed clutch, was towed to Mr. Transmission in February 2021. On receiving the vehicle back 6 days later (weekend included), I am now experiencing use of the vehicle I did not have access to in many years. It was search and find to locate a competent repair shop in whose hands I could place the vehicle. I am most pleased with the results, having informed Tom and Ricardo that it is now a pleasure to drive my car.

Tom and Ryan were truly amongst the most professional and kind people I have ever dealt with. They were very helpful and got my car fixed in 2 days! I will definitely go back to them if I ever have any other issues. Highly recommend!!!!!!

Rebuilt my 1966 classic mustang transmission earlier this year. Recently a transmission leak was detected and took my Mustang back for inspection. A small leak was detected and fixed under warranty. I went there one time. He did a transmission rebuild that he finished in 4 days then I had to keep bringing it back about 10 times throughout the course of a year what you could never get it right. He had my car for 5 months out of the year on some warranty work for a transmission be rebuilt for me which he only replaced the part that he felt Was necessary and I had to go back in over and over again and every time I did it would we in the shop for two weeks or more every time just because he said he didn't have a lift open so he just help my car out in the sun which faded paint and peel the clear coat unfortunately they are not a body shop and don't claim responsibility for that I would not recommend anybody going to this place

Tom is a wonderful person and runs an honest shop. He and his staff are professional, their work is exceptional, and his prices are fair. Not sure what else you could ask for. Wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else for automotive work. Can't put enough positive feedback to convey how much I appreciate this business!

Owner was very friendly and very helpful. Was very upfront about any work that needed to be done that was extra. He give us a really great price on getting my wife's van back on the road.Will definitely recommend him to other friends that need to get work done.

Very friendly people. Got my truck back on the road quickly no problems since. They found issues unrelated to the transmission and gave me the option to repair while the transmission was out for a reasonable price. I will use them again if I need work done.

Unfortunately I've had three different vehicles that had transmission problems all in the last year! Fortunately Tom and Ryan were able to assist and get my cars back on the road with minimal down-time.They're both extremely knowledgeable and great to work with. I will definitely return if I have any more issues.
