I visited this Midas location a couple months back for oil and air filter changes before a long road trip, and the experience was very positive. The place was on my radar because I'd had a smog check done next door, and that was positive as well. So, I thought it would be suitable to recommend Midas to my son to have the brakes checked on his 2016 Ford Fiesta. My son is on the spectrum, but we encourage him to handle as many things on his own as he can. When he dropped off the car, he was given a $235 estimate for brake work ($60 for an initial brake inspection and $175 to check a belt noise my son reported). The final charge for the brake work alone amounted to $728. As we were paying, I asked the guy at the front desk if they'd honor the coupons on the Midas website, which lists offers such as "Up to $100 off brake service" and "New Year/New Winter Savings" of 10% off varying service amounts. These deals are listed on the Midas website when you pull up the 9077 Foothills Blvd. Roseville address. The guy just looked at me and said since my son hadn't presented any coupon in advance, there would be no deal or discount. Again, this was literally while we were standing there, and he was processing the $700 brake service payment. Moreover, the belt noise we paid $175 to have diagnosed turned out to be a "timing belt grinding against its housing." While I appreciate Midas diagnosing such a serious malfunction, I'll definitely be having the estimated $1,400 repair done elsewhere.

I'm new to the area and have never used Midas before, but it was nearby. It was a great experience and here's why:1) You can book an on-line appointment with 2 hour windows that the team calls back to narrow down the time. I love it because that want to be as efficient as you do.2) There was no wait when I got there. Patrick came out and had me follow him into the office for the paperwork3) Patrick is very professional and I was treated with respect. As a women, going into mechanic shops, we can be treated unfairly, or get poor service. This was not the case with Patrick.4) The service was timely and they called me as soon as my car was ready for pick-up.5) The total costs were in-line with the estimate.I'll be going back!Thanks,Sharon

Rating: (1/5)I recently visited Midas] for an oil change, lured in by a promising $29.99 coupon advertised on their website. However, my experience quickly turned sour as they blatantly refused to honor the coupon upon arrival. Instead, I was slapped with a hefty bill of $75 for the same service.What's more infuriating is their excuse that it's a corporate policy not to honor the coupon. If that's the case, why bother advertising it on their website in the first place? This misleading tactic not only wasted my time but also left a bitter taste in my mouth.I strongly advise potential customers to beware of such deceptive practices at Midas It's evident that they prioritize profit over customer satisfaction and integrity. My trust in their business ethics has been shattered, and I will be taking my patronage elsewhere in the future.

My overall experience was good. My problem was payment. The Midas credit card don t work I had to use other method of payment. Associate Patrick was great to work, with, in the speed of which my vehicle was returned to me, was surprising.Service: TiresService: Tires

I had been going to the Jiffy Lube near my house, but I got the sense that the person I was talking to about my vehicle wasn't very knowledgable and was just reading information off a computer screen. I heard Midas was under new ownership and the owner was pretty cool so I decided to check it out. I took my vehicle in for an oil change and Mike was super knowledgable and explained things to me in a way I could understand. I appreciate the fact that he spoke kindly to me and wasn't condesending when I admited to not being knowledgable about vehicles. I didn't feel forced into paying for extra vehicle maintnance like I did at Jiffy Lube. I HIGHLY recommend Midas!

The service here is wonderful. They went above and beyond to make sure my car could leave in its best shape possible for my budget and cars needs. They got me in the same day and back on the road quickly! It s always nice to find a place that treats you well.

I was very happy with their service a few things were questionable I'm very sad that I can't get in there and watch what they are doing I don't trust car shops it's always about the money I read up and get the mechanical books on every car I drive so I saw some things I didn't like but they always lie and say everything's good total cost 333.00 so it's whatever still have a oil leak caused by the last shop that changed my oil

Hit something on the way to work, realized after work that the plastic plates under the car were hanging. My car is to low for me to get under and pull the plates. Drove it to Midas and Patrick loaded the car on the ramp, clipped in the pieces and had me on my way in minutes. Huge shout out to Midas and Patrick huge help and I really appreciate it.

So I had a problem with my truck brakes and had them replaced. Long story short it was my rear brakes hanging up. I have used mitis for several years. I have never had a bad experience. They treat me very nice. My car runs good. They tell me anything it needs. I always get my appointments needed. What could be better? Today, whoever checked me in, I can t remember his name, was extremely helpful and explain the difference between the different oils to me. Been coming here for many services. They are fair, trustworthy, took ownership of work that they did which parts were faulty (not by their doing) under their warranty work.2 year update. Do not trust their word. One of their employees made me an offer after I had some work done there. Unfortunately he did not keep his word and his fellow employees and technicians did not want to honor what he had promised. Wasted a lot of my time after leaving my car there for a day and left me feeling duped and frustrated.

Terrible experience, highly disappointed. Was quoted $2700 for a catalytic converter and even received a call later to confirm that amount but when I came to pick up my car they said it was an extra $1000. Took my car to somebody else for an oil change and catalytic shield installation and they had to fix mistakes that Midas made. So not only was I overcharged without it being communicated but a subpar job was done as well. I would strongly suggest taking your car elsewhere.

I took my car in to change my front brakes in March.After a few days, I heard noise when I brake, didn't think nothing of it but after 2 weeks, I brought my car back for a recheck, it was front wheel bearings and back brakes were visually checked.It was going to cost too much so I decided not to fix it at that time.Again a few weeks later, the braking noise was too much and I brought it back, back brakes were metal to metal and had to be replaced.Glad I didn't replace the bearings and too bad the back brakes weren't discovered when I returned the 1st time.Everyone was nice there.Service: Brakes

Worst repair experience I have ever had. They took the better part of a week to do a one day job - then installed it incorrectly and wasted my time on another appointment. I came in to have it fixed and they had a scheduling issue so they wanted me to bring it back in again!! This is the single worst run shop I have ever seen. One star because he s friendly while wasting your time. Be warned. Go elsewhere.Service: General repairs & maintenance

No communication after dropping off my car for rear brake pads. After 4 hrs I called them. No answer 4 times that I called. Finally answered on the fifth call over 30 minutes since the first call. Still no idea of when pads will arrive. Tired of waiting after they said it could be done today. Lady was very quiet when I went back to pick up my car. Nothing to say or even try to keep my business. And they charge 29.99 for a brake inspection when everywhere else is free. Firestone does it for almost half the price. Probably won't do business here again. They seem like they dont care. I have two other cars that need smog and oil change and brakes. Won't be bringing those here.Service: Brakes

Stay away. This place is shady and the ppl who work here like to over price you for things to make a profit of their own. Got my oil changed here and we had to get it redone less than 2 months later. My engine light came on because of them because they didn t change a filter and tried to charge me a large amount for tires. Tried to give another chance today and these ppl wanted to charge me over $300 to change headlights. My car is a 2017 basic model Would not recommend to anyone.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Oil change
