In the past, I would have never hired anyone to work on my vehicles: I'd been taking care of my cars for the 50+ years! These folks were great, from an itemized invoice (which I double checked) to great communication and pictures! I am very satisfied with the entire experience and highly recommend this shop for all repairs! In addition, their prices are reasonable (about 60% of the dealer), and the parts are top quality! Thanks for a great repair; I wouldn't hesitate to return for future appointments!

My wife and I currently live 3 hours away but we had to come back to Roseville to get my wife s car fixed, as we had to leave it behind for a while since our car was overheating. We were calling around different auto shops in the area and they all said that they wouldn t be able to finish up our car until a couple days after, but we needed the car to be worked on and finished by the next day. Once we gave a call to GM Specialties, the manager (KC) said that they can take our car in and can have it done the next day. And they did not disappoint! My wife and I were very pleased with their work and their customer service is phenomenal! They were very communicative, as they provided updates about our car throughout the process of waiting for our car to be fixed. Even KC ( the manager) had followed up with us the next day to see if my wife and I made it back to our destination safely. I highly recommend anyone to come to this auto shop, as they are very knowledgeable and reliable! Thank you GM Specialties for taking care of us and raising our car back from the dead!

KC and his team are great to work with. They have done several jobs on my C6 Corvette. Service the transmission and differential, changed the oil, installed new Morimoto headlights. Installed my battery cables and fuse box. KC is extremely communicative and responds to text and emails. I was provided estimates before the work was done. They do a great job and go above and beyond.

GM Has taken great care of my 2006 ram, it has over 197000 miles on it and still runs strong, I would highly recommend them to anyone, I'm lucky to have a reliable dependable shop.

This is a very clean and professional atmosphere, being a female and not knowing a lot about cars. I totally trust GM Specialties, they have always been upfront with me and told me what I needed done right away and what i can wait on. Best place in Sacramento area to bring your older car. The whole idea of repairing an older car is to keep it running well and safe. We have over 20 years of that security from GM Specialities! We recently took our grandparent mobile vehicle to GM Specialties because we were told by the dealership that we needed over $2300 in repairs! All for a vehicle with 50K! GM Specialties repaired it in one day and discovered that the dealership 100 point checklist failed to disclose actual maintenance problems. All told we saved over $700 on repairs and maintenance, including the undiagnosed problems at the dealership, and the vehicle runs like a dream. So no more dealership and all of our vehicles rely on GM Specialties!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I recently had my motor replaced with a rebuilt motor at GM specialties. KC And his technicians performed the job in a very proficient and timely manner. Two weeks later everything seems to be running good and no issues. KC was excellent with his customer service before, during and after the process. He kept me informed along the way. GM Specialities were great. I was recommended to go here by a neighbor who has been using them for years. I typically do all my own maintenance because I don t trust or like the shops I have been too. These guys may change that as they were fair priced and gor the work done as promised. I needed a body control module (BCM) programmed for a 2001 Saturn. I found the hard to find part and installed it GM Specialties programmed it right when the local dealers wouldn't even try. They were communicative, and genuinely interested in me keeping my car running without having to throw a lot of money at it. They have earned my future business!David

Had to have my work truck diagnosed and repaired same day and they were very accommodating with my time frame. They listened to my suggestions and they fulfilled the needed repairs. I know my truck and they didn't try to "upsell" me with other unnecessary repairs and service I knew I didn't need. KC and his crew did a fantastic job for us. They had to replace all of the actuators for the HVAC system. They also performed a quick but thorough goings over and found a few semi- major issues. Most urgent was an exhaust leak found on both exhaust manifolds. They will be performing the repairs to correct this on Monday. Thanks for a good experience.Service: General repairs & maintenance

From the first point of contact it was clear to me that KC and his team truly take pride in their work and respect their customers. KC went above and beyond to ensure that we had the information we needed to make informed decisions about the repairs our Honda Oddyssey needed and that we got the best prices for parts (including tracking down warranties on work done elsewhere and by previous owners) and the best value for the cost of labor. KC offers personalized service and really just seems to be an honest and caring human being. His communication is timely, thorough, and clear. And as a working parent I find it super convenient that we can communicate by text, too. I thought it might cost us slightly more than going to a local competitor, and that was worth the peace of mind, to me. But when all was said and done, it was comparable in price and certainly greater in overall value. Our family vehicle needed a lot of work, but even with a "sore" pocketbook, we are new and total fans of GM Specialties. If you value quality, trust, and peace of mind, this is your shop.

Dude this place is literally a lifesaver. I was about to get rid of my vehicle because of repairs I thought I needed immediately. KC and his crew really put everything into perspective for me and made me feel like I wasn't getting in over my head. They are incredibly honest, and have great work ethic. If you are in the market for a reliable and trustworthy mechanic, these are your people! A+ in my book!

KC and Dana are great! I appreciate KC takes the time to record videos of the trouble areas or the broken parts that truly needed to be replaced. He explains everything in a way that never feels condescending and he is easy to understand. If you want an excellent customer service with a very professional work, I recommend GM Specialties. I had my daughter s car fixed and it was done right away. They are honest and will tell you everything you need to know. KC is the manager and just look for him. I will definitely recommend them to my family and friends.

Great shop, great people, and always as professional as can be. Communication is always top notch, I know for me that s important. Prices are fair and the quality of their work will speak for its self. KC has always got my truck back to me in the time he originally estimated.

The staff here are simply awesome. They diagnose the issue, do a thorough job on the repair, and keep the customer up to date with progress of the repair via phone or text. They have always gone above and beyond the call of duty with their customer service and have been shown intregrity and fairness with their pricing. I ve had AC and brake issues addressed, as well as tires and general fluids replaced. KC is the mechanic who usually does the work on the car, and he does an amazing job. My car is running like a champ! A big thank you to the team at GM!
