I went to have my brakes checked. They told me I needed new brake pads and rotors, front and back. My 2016 4Runner Limited had 49,000 miles on it and had never had the brakes serviced. They told me my rotors were grooved and couldn't be turned because the pads were metal to metal. They quoted me almost $1300 for the job. This was way more than I wanted to pay and since I knew how to do it myself I opted out and bought my own parts. Two days later, when I pulled the fronts off, the rotors were not grooved and there was around 25% remaining on all four pads. The rotors did not need replacement and the pads were not metal to metal as I was led to believe. I can no longer trust my local Firestone Auto Care Center. I have spent a lot of money there over the last 10 years but now they have lost my business. I'm also considering reporting them to the Department of Automotive Repair. It's sad that this is all too typical of many big box repair shops, including dealerships. They try to sell you things you don't need.Update: Two days later, after I had removed my front rotors, I called the shop to see if I could bring them in to have them turned/resurfaced. They told me their brake lathe was broken. I wonder if it was broken two days before? Maybe that's why they chose to sell me rotors I didn't need instead of turning my original ones.

I used the online feature to set up my appointment for a tire alignment. The entire process was seamless. Once it was time for my appointment, checking in for my appointment was a breeze. I decided to wait while my car was being worked on. I listened to the store tech welcome each guest with kindness and patience. I am really please with my store location's customer service. Sorry I did not get the name of the tech but she sounded fairly new and she was phenomenal!

This place always takes care of my car. Their all very knowledgeable and they always know what's wrong with my car and whats needed to fix it. The prices are always decent compared to other places. The work is always top-notch. Been coming here for 10 years and still counting!

All representatives were courteous. The clerks were very nice and helpful. Michelle was particularly helpful over the phone setting up the appointment and pulling aside the last in stock tire for me. Work was done within timeframe indicated. I made a same day appointment for a single tire replacement. They did a full inspection along with the tire change. I didn't expect that and while I appreciated the diagnostics, that wasn't my purpose for the appointment. I refused the recommended services as I already had plans to address the most critical items.

I called a day before to get an appt. They offered a 730am appt. for the next day, so I took it. They said it would take 1.5 hours for a tire balance and rotation with an oil change. Sure enough. By 9am I was paying for my service. I had bought the lifetime balance and tire rotation with my tire purchase a year ago. Quick and right on time. Cant ask for more.

Great experience!I made a last minute appointment for a tire pressure sensor issue and they were able to see me, identify the issue, had the sensor on hand, and replaced the sensor all within an hour or so.They had great communication the whole time and didn't overcharge.Will be back for sure!

I came in just 5 minutes before their closing time with a punctured tire. Staff was super friendly and laid out a thorough and transparent briefing of what s gonna happen. They had tried their best to help me patch the flat tire and eventually get my car going. Very much appreciated!

I went in to get a tire quote and an oil change, I'm a mechanic myself but pretended to know nothing about cars as I wanted to find a trustworthy shop to do tires/oil changes (I'm not allowed to work on personal vehicles at my job and I don't do those two things at home)Over all super friendly, polite, and professional.The only critique I'd have is that I was quoted over $1,000 for spark plugs that were not due for another 40k miles approximately.

I have been to Firestone a few times now.... Hilton, Michelle, Josh and David have always taken excellent care of me. Just like any place of employment you are going to have a bad experience on occasion, I trust the 4 people I listed to take good care of my vehicle and double check any possible mistakes made by a tech. I have seen that Firestone does their best to keep their customers happy. Even if you've had a bad experience here give it one more chance... But request Hilton, Michelle, Josh or David and let them know of your previous experience and I am confident they will do what they can to make sure your next experience is better.

Easy to schedule an appointment online and Customer service was very good. No upselling. Michelle was very accommodating - called when the car was ready and even got us scheduled for a second wheel alignment the same afternoon when the one on the first vehicle was finished and they had time to do another.

Place is a joke. Staff is rude and did a horrible job installing front brakes. We even brought the vehicle back in and were told there weren't any issues. They did not grease the front brakes at all. Pepboys in Rocklin found the issue immediately and now the vehicle is fine. Took the better part of two days to be overcharged and have the job done improperly. Never again...

Tonight on way to taking daughter to art class, my PSI indicator came on telling me 13 in right rear tire. 5 minutes until close, I call Firestone in desperate need of someone to look at. Thankfully I am less than 1/2 mi away and they said, yes come! Ryan and his tech looked to see if patch but tire was bubbling and large metal object in it. They stayed late past closing (on Valentines night) to get me a new tire. Also, he was honest. I guess a lot of AWD need all 4 replaced but he said my measures were good and I could get by on just 1. Thank you, thank you for getting us home safely. 5+ stars for staying late AND being honest about needs. I have come to this location a lot over the years because I can trust them.

I strongly discourage anyone from visiting this place as the staff is dishonest and may rip you off. When I had a flat tyre and took it to them, they suggested replacing the tyres instead of only the damaged one and quoted me $500+, which was suspicious. Fortunately, I found another local autocare that fixed my tyre in just 3 minutes and charged me only $15. Please don't waste your time and money here.

I ve been returning to this location since my first visit because of the friendly, knowledgeable people and the price matching. They stayed late to install my tires and of course did a multipoint inspection which reminded me to change my oil. The location is convenient as well.

To begin, I will never go into another firestone!Josh & Gam were kind and heard me as they showed me the $2400+ invoice for brakes on a 2022 Toyota Corolla with only 25000 miles on the car! They said there was an oil leak coming from the Calibrator and as a result brake pads had to be replaced and something to do with the rotors as well. Also stated that the shock absorbers were leaking oil. I began to get a bit angry and stated that there is no way these things should be real since the car is new. I simply went into this store to get my brakes inspected because I heard a noise and this elevated quote was the result. They did give me good advice on how to handle it. He suggested I take the car to Toyota to see if they had a warranty for the brake issue.After scaring me to death with a $2400+ invoice for brakes on a 1.5 year old car they failed to tell me that much of that invoice included items (on the last page) that were suggested items. When the manager came over to ask what was the problem and ignored me all together. Then said rudely "Look Toyota won't do a damn thing for you!!". This just stressed me out more. I believe that this manager simply said those things so I would just stay there and have them fix it! THEN when I did go to Toyota Chris told me that if these issues were real they in fact would be covered under the warranty. They inspected the car and found NOTHING wrong with it. They stated there was grease that had separated from the shim kit and transferred to the calibrator Possibly perceived as fluid leak. The brake pads did not need to be replaced and nothing mentioned about the rotors. The shocks had a slight oil seepage from the seal case which is normal oil evaporation NOT necessary to replace the shock absorber.While waiting for the car to return I told the gentleman that was the noise I heard but a bit louder as the car was brought to me and put in park. He told me that the noise was the emergency brake. They are automatic and so I didn't hear them before and when I heard the noise my window was down so it sounded louder. I was so appalled at the over priced charges and all for nothing!! So simple seepage and simple slight sprays of oil are perceived as leaks? Surely any real mechanic would be able to tell a true leak from that. AND to add "suggested items" to the quote tucked away on the last page.... that is deceitful. That manager who tried to scare me into staying and getting the "work" done there....what if I was dumb enough to do that and they took the car apart and saw there really wasn't a leak, do you think they would have told me??I have often come to Firestone with my other cars but after this I have to say that I won't be coming to your store, any of the stores, again. I was so stressed and it took my whole day!! I can scan these documents for your viewing if you would like.

The staff was so friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. They didn't make me feel bad about the need for maintenance for my car. Just really nice and I have told my coworkers about the Amazing service that I was given.

Great customer service. Even when swamped. I accidentally booked the wrong day by mistake and the gentleman over the phone told me he could squeeze me in and I was so grateful. When I got there, he was super busy and still managed to multitask.

I recently had a tire blowout, I towed my car here and they were very helpful. I got new tires that day and an alignment. I also drive a stick shift, I later watched the dashcam footage of their test drive and they treated my car well and had someone who also daily drives a manual.However, the reason I m giving a poor review is that 2 of my wheels were incredibly over-torqued, and the other 2 wheels were under-torqued. This can be dangerous, some of the wheels could loosen and fall off, and the tight ones could break my wheel studs. I won t be coming back for tire rotations, I ll do it myself in my garage since I know I will use the correct torque spec. I find it hard to trust most all-service shops, this is why. They re going to kill someone.They also tried to upsell a service for several hundred dollars that I know doesn t apply to my car, and is not part of any of the service bulletins or literature for my vehicle. Dishonest service shops are scummy.

We were over charged and now we have to file a claim about it online. Went in for Clogged Catalytic Converter and was coding,they trumped the charges up to over $6,000 worth of "needed" repairs or you won't pass your smog!! Consumers please be very careful with Firestone on Washington Blvd in Roseville,CA and I have the invoice to prove it!

This Firestone is the Best all the Techs and The Front Desk Associates are the Best. who stands out in this who I'm giving a Shout out to is ,Angel for Great customer service ! my truck needed work done he send out a tow truck shout out to the tow truck guy he was very friendly love his vibe! and I don't know the Tech who work on my white Cadillac Escalade thank you so much they got the job done! I took my car here for the last time a few months ago.I took it in for an alignment because I had the lifetime alignment and for a tire repair because I had the tire insurance.As with every time here when I've had a scheduled appointment, they kept the car for multiple days. When I called to find out what was going on the person on the phone told me it would be $3,000 to get all the new work they found. I said no thank you because I am not made of money and went to pick up my car.They stated they could not do the alignment because of the other work needed. They said nothing about the tire. They charged me, gave me my keys, and I left straight for the dealership.It turns out none of the work was needed. The Ford dealership did the alignment with zero problems. And I had to go to a new tire shop to get tires since they didn't even mention that. The tire was bad, lopsided even, was under warranty still, and they did absolutely nothing.TLDR I caught them red-handed trying to scam me out of $3,000. They did not complete work that I had already paid for long before this appointment. They never honored a single warranty in the 10 plus years I went to them. They are shady and unprofessional. I will never be going back here for any service and nor will the other two vehicles in my household.
