This is hands-down, my favorite Auto Shop of all time! Extraordinary service and quality, time after time. I feel safe and confident leaving my car in their hands. That staff is consistently genuine, kind and fun! I will never bring my car to another auto shop and I will always highly recommend this shop! Thank you for everything, ASR :)

I am so pleased with the services I received at Automotive Service of Roseville. Kieran advised me and Fabian (I hope that s right) did my Service A.Kieran told me I need a need tire as there is a bubble . I don t drive my car very often so I am happy to know I need to replace a tire.The service fees are more than fair. Everyone here is so honest. I appreciate that.

I got a brake and lamp check for 181.00 a great price and they changed my brake light that was out. It passed! Here I come DMV! Thanks guys.

This shop is awesome! We take all our vehicles to ASR with great confidence. Other family members have been going here even longer. They always do great work and sometimes have some really neat old cars in the lot. Kinda fun to see :)

My Dad visited here and I picked him up, he mentioned that the gentleman that was at the location late was very nice and helpful even though he arrived at 6pm which I can really appreciate. Plus it was really nice there was plenty of light in the front of the business so I felt I didn't have to worry about my Dad being there for a few mins alone.Overall Thank you very much for all you do I'm sure my Dad will be a return customer!!

This is the best place to bring your vehicle. Everyone here is super friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced in automotive maintenance. They will tell you what is wrong and leave the decision to fix or not to you. There is never any pressure. I LOVE THESE GUYS!!

These guys are the truth! Came in for an oil change. Basic, right? But these guys offered to wash my truck! They also checked my brakes! Talk about red carpet! Bill was fantastic, informative, and numerous to top it off. This is my go to shop from here on! Thanks guys! I see why your so busy

This review is long overdue. I used these guys for years and had always believed them to be honest and fair. Then I had one really bad experience. I needed to have a clock spring replaced. Bill at ASR quoted me around $1,500. I figured they had always been fair with me so I agreed to get it done. Long story short the repair appointment was canceled and I ended up looking else where. Anyway, I found another shop in Manteca that quoted me around 550 or so. When I did a google search and both Google and the other shop quoted the part at around $450. ASR said it was around $550-650. Labor at the other shop was around 1 hour (maybe 1 1/2) ASR estimated labor around 2 1/2 hours. Bottom line is ASR charged me over double what the other shop was going to charge me but I found out after the fact. I was trying to be loyal to ASR. Called Bill and asked him if maybe there had been a mistake or oversight on my Bill and he said no. I also noticed on my final bill that it also included the original $120.00 diagnostic fee, which most shops will not charge for IF you have the work done there. I have met and really liked the owner, so I am hoping that maybe he is not aware of this excess bill and I don't know if this is something that is a practice or if it was just an accident but all I have to say is beware. Do a google search on specific parts and repair costs (including hours for labor) before using ASR for any major repairs. I used them for over 8 years but have not been back. Just beware!!!

I accidentally called Automotive Service of Roseville when I was trying to reach my usual mechanic in a hurry. Best mistake I could have made! My mechanic wasn t available for 2 weeks and these guys got me in right away. They were super kind, respectful, quick, thorough, reasonably priced, and extremely communicative! I m so grateful I found them! I have been coming to ASR for at least 20 years, maybe more. I'm so glad I found them. They are all super friendly, honest & really know what they're doing. They have always gone above & beyond when working on my car. Bill & Brett are GREAT, I love talking to them when I need to come in. The last time I was in Tieran worked on my car. Thank you Tieran for doing such a beautiful job on my car. I appreciate the work you did so much! Nov inspection and service no issues with brake pads; in under 6K miles in 7-8 months; metal to metal brake pad and rotor replacement mandated and charged $500 plus where others are doing for $200 plus tax. Such a rip off, how can still be in business with cheating mechanics. This industry never changes for better.

We came from out of town and our a/c quit working, we have a 9 month old and needed our ac fixed, Bill was awesome and got us squeezed in right away. They had it back working in an hour and a half, with a free wash for our very dirty car! Couldn t recommend this place enough!Service: Auto A/C replacementService: Auto A/C replacement

I am so glad I brought my truck here for a check engine diagnosis. I called on a Friday. They got me in on Monday morning and had my truck up and running that afternoon. Everyone was polite and honest when telling me what was wrong and I am happy to have my truck back!

LOVE this shop! I ve been trusting them with my BMW ever since it came out of warranty and could not be happier. They are VERY honest, nice, knowledgeable and fair priced. They go above and beyond what a normal shop would do. (Shout out to Bret for his great service today!)The complimentary car wash is awesome too (they do a better job than an expensive car wash place!). It feels good knowing I have a trustworthy shop like this near me!!!

This place has always gone above and beyond to help me from having two holes in my tires at different times to a last minute oilchange prior to a cross-country trip, in addition to normal appointments, ASR is professional, friendly, extremely fair with price, and I can't recommend them enough.

Came in to replace an oil filter housing which can be picked up at AutoZone for $308.99. Was charged $549.77 for that exact part (plus labor to install, of course, out the door north of $1,200). While that seems like a steep markup on the part, I was informed by Kieren at ASR that I actually got a break, as they normally would mark that part up to $626! Nice to get a 100%+ markup if you can get it I suppose, but it seems excessive to me. They also charge an extra 2.5% fee if you use a credit or debit card, so bring cash if you want to avoid that additional surcharge.

I love this place!! I had such a fun morning chatting with Bill and then was able to have a shuttle ride to work. I have never been in a shuttle ride before but Joseph was vey nice and felt nothing but comfortable! Bill was so awesome and explained things in detail which was just what I need! They were able to get my car back to the best it can be and above and beyond cleaned it better then I have ever had it! I am just blown away at the kindness, top shelf and welcoming service they give!! I am incredibly grateful and will be my car shop home! Brett and his guys took great care of my car. Went in for engine problems, got the diagnosis in an hour, picked it up at the end of the day. Fair price and they washed/did some minor detailing on the exterior, my car is cleaner than its been in months. All running smooth now. Would recommend.

I had a 100,000 mile service done.Friendly and promptly got to it.Unfortunately I had a bad spark plug installed. 600 or so miles later returned and signed a paper for the price of a diagnostic for over a hundred dollars.Fortunately they are a completely honest business which is ""very rare"" for an automotive service company. They found and fixed the problem at no cost to me but a few hours, which is a great turn out. Thank you for taking such good care of my wife's Cadillac srx4 which has my baby traveling in it. Great and professional and above expectations of honesty when most companies would have said It was my fault in some shape or form. This place has a customer for life!!!! Highly recommend!Service: Oil change

Sent in my 54 year old collectable car , they repaired what was wrong and found a problem, a short in the interior lights system and repaired that all for a very reasonable amount, thanks so much this was the car on it way to them

I ve taken my Toyota Camry and JEEP Wrangler in several times. These guys are awesome. A few times I didn t need anything done quite yet, so I appreciate their honesty and didn t feel like they were out take advantage of me. The work I have had done was quick and have had no problems. While waiting inside today, an old lady was telling quite the long story and the guy at the counter was very polite and patient and even helped her out to the car with her stuff. Nice to have a local place you can trust.

My go-to shop for oil changes, smog checks, and car repairs! Attentive staff, reasonable prices, quick repair time, and lasting repair results. A free car wash is offered at the end of the repair/oil change/smog check which is a fantastic bonus of bringing your vehicle here. I also appreciate that the staff will give me, if asked, a list of repairs that could be done in the upcoming years with a cost breakdown, yet they re never pushy about it like some car places are. Been coming to ASR since I was 19 and bought my first car, 24 now, and my parents have been coming here for many years before me.
