Always reliable always open always priced competitively. My go to auto mechanic from smog to oil changes tire repair lowering my car and doing my service for my Lexus RC. DANNY and his family are honest .

Danny, Anthony, Ricky and their whole team are very efficient with their workmanship. They charge a fair price and they give practical advices if the part is worth buying original or OEMs for their clients to save some money. I highly recommend City Tech Auto Repair.

My headlamp burnt out and I was relieved to find out that this place was open on Sunday. They fixed my car right away and I was done in less than 15 min. I will be going there if I need work done especially on Sundays.

Great price and great services you can get in the area. I do all my oil change and breaks. They do speak English, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Spanish here. I paid 50 ish for my synthetic oil change with my Honda 4 cylinder instead of 100ish from the other shop. Took about 40 minutes on a busy day and 20ish minutes if they not too busy.

DO NOT GO TO THIS TRASH PLACE ! I used to use their service around 2 years, they only give hand writing documents, I thought they have record in their computer like other company.2 or 3 months ago, my engine can not working, so I visited them and replace a spare parts. Today, I found the engine can not working again.I guess it should be same problem. So, I visit them again. They denied everything! They DO NOT GIVE ANY HELP ! They said even they see the car again, they want money !!!They only repeat to the document which I already throw away. They said they DO NOT have any record of any cars. Even on the hand writing paperwork, there is NO brand, No number, NOTHING !!!!Which means the IRS CAN NOT find any problem on their TAX I suggest people DO NOT use their service if you dont care about your lives !!Service: Engine repair

Not even a one star if I could have made it that way they put in a used engine and told me the problem with the engine now is it's the computer so I took it to Mitsubishi and Mitsubishi said it was not the computer but they didn't have time and neither did I to fix it so I took it to B&B Automotive off of Del Mar and told them they can take their time cuz I didn't have the money yet to repair it and once they repaired it City Tech wouldn't give me my money back on that repair so I'm taking them to court it would have cost me an extra $900 to buy a computer and it turned out not to be the computer then they tried to offer me $400 but it cost me $580 to fix itService: Engine repair

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE, I brought my 2019 Tacoma for a suspension upgrade to level 2" lift kits. my previous was a 2 inch spacer. when I pick up my truck, they added a 2 inch spacer on top of my new suspension lift. instead of 2 inch lift, I got a 4.5 inch lift and they even told me its look's good. i climbed onto the truck and my view was the sky since i cannot look on to the road. then they offer to fix it by charging me another labor. so i end up paid twice and they denied making the mistake. after I left their shop, I notice they installed the coil spring upside down on the driver side. and when i return, they ask for another labor to correct it. I would never use their service again. this is a classic example of highway rubbery.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Not recommended at all. Usual scams of replacing belts and fluids when not needed. Always read the operators manual that comes with your car, or search it online (they made your car, they know whats best and when maintenance is needed). Major rip off on brake pads, payed for premium quality brakes pads but found out it was used and as cheap as possible pads after a month (i mostly use regenerative braking), could've done a full rotor (slotted and drilled) and brake pad(premium to racing grade) replacement with money payed just for the pad replacement. Car exited with a non-working parking brake, slips often when on a decline. They do have a good price on motor oil change, but its way more worth while and money saving to do a quick google on self done oil changes. The AutoZone just a small walk away are really helpful. You can also do a good 2-3 oil changes if you buy a 5qt container of good oil. Just remember the a new filter every oil change. (I personally don't trust what oil they will actually put in after all that)A good place for maintenance that is reliable and money friendly would be the Advanced Complete Auto Works which is only a mile away. On the occasion you can see a few car enthusiasts with nice cars here so you know they are good.>>Only reason to bring a car here is for a smog check, they work relatively quick. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH ANYTHING ELSE!!<<PS: If you read down the reviews, they like to get salty with bad reviews.(Often going through their own service records to pull names) Just shows how professional they are.In any claims of "being told if it was refurbished or not prior to service done" All that was said was that there were 2 options, the cheap possibly refurbished brakes for xx.xx$, or a set of new premium brakes for xx.xx$

Good service and very honest from my experience so far. They stopped me from wasting money on brakes once because I didn't need them yet, was surprised and very grateful for the honesty. Oil changes are at a very good price, and smog check is available. The only downside is they are extremely busy, so it might be a little wait.

The wait time was minimal for a smog check. To ensure no miscommunication, Ricky informed me what the prices were for the test and for the certificate. He also informed me what would be charged if my car did not pass inspection. I've been coming here many for at least 6 years for the quick and reliable service and will continue to do so in the future.

During a family vacation my vehicles water pump gave out and we were literally stuck in Rosemead. Found City Tech and was quoted a reasonable price. Was promised that my vehicle would be ready the next day and it was!!!Great people, Great Service and just an overall Great Place.

Bad experience, mechanic gave me instruction to change an exhaust pipe after failing my smog test to which i did , even asked it was easy to install and he said I could even do myself . So i bought the part and had it installed elsewhere ,Went back next day to have them check it so can re smog test it , but the mechanic was rude in saying i should have made them install and fix it so they put it in the report etc , i told him that he should have told me that yesterday before i left as it was no problem for me to have them do it .Not saying to me after i already followed his instructions yesterday to change the part and saying it was easy that i can even do on my own , and being rude in the way he answers and treat customer...The manager was nice and polite in answering and explaining the situation though ...but wish he could have fix the situation with his mechanic behavior as they were very unprofessional in dealing with customer ...

Great place! Reasonably priced! Fast service! My family and I were on vacation when our vehicle's water pump gave out. I didn't get an overcharged quote like the mechanic down the street (who I believe played us on the fact that we're vacationers). I would highly suggest if you're a local or not. Thank you City Tech!!!!

I have had some pretty stellar experiences with this place. I can never argue with the price. The first time I came in, I had a hole in my tire, and they patched it and filled all of the tires with air for $10, really quick. Recently, I went to get my timing belt replaced, and they replaced the timing belt, fasteners, tensioners, waterpump, and seals, all for $450, with factory parts. When I got in my car, it sounded kind of rough, and the coolant was bubbly. Immediately, when I got in, the mechanic said he needed to look at it and that I would need to wait another 30 minutes. It turned out that I needed a temperature sensor, and he put another one in that day for free. I go here all of the time for routine repairs, they are really fast, and they go the extra mile to make customers happy. When I got my timing belt replaced, they even washed my engine bay for free. You can't argue with that, and I even got all of this done, on a Sunday, in the same day. I am going to go to them for all of my routine repairs, and I recommend them to my friends. Give them a shout if you ever need anything.

Do not go this place for smog check if you have CAT stolen and a aftermarket CAT installed, staff give you hard time.Waste of moneyUpdate, car have a cetified aftermarket CAT installed

I was referred here by a friend who said he has been coming here for years. Anthony was the one working on my smog check. He was great, but he didn't talk much. He just ask what I needed, drove by car up the machine, and after about 30mins, said all clear. Great, fast and get the job done.

Been coming here for years.. process are fair and lower in most cases compared to others. All the Techs are trust worthy, knowledgeable and they're turn around time on repairs is quick.I always recommend City Tech Auto to all.

Buying a used car, I paid them $130 for a pre purchase inspection. They told me the breaks were worn, transmission fluid was low, but overall everything was good. I bought the car, and 2 days later the engine started misfiring. Turns out one of the ignition coils had cracked and the seller had taped it back together. The mechanics DIDN'T NOTICE ELECTRICAL TAPE IN THE ENGINE, so they basically just took my money, glanced at the car, and sent me on my way. Either an intentional scam, or complete incompetence. In either case, avoid them.

I used it for 4-5 yrs. every tine the workers said to replace something.Suspect they rip me off as a middle age Chinese lady.Yesterday when I dropped off a friend to pick up her car, have a worker Auturo check the leaking.He said water pump and radiator leak. But I don't see any coolant leaking. I doubt another rip-off.Today I went to another repair shop. Boss recommends me look for couple of days to check leaking.Must have a second opinion, or simply go to 7444 Garvey av Advanced complete auto works

This place opened up at 6. Danny was able to help with my oil change. I was able to get in and out really quick while cars were starting to come in. DanNY looks like he was busy, but he was able to give me and oil change for $20. Thanks Danny! I would recommend this place to anyone.

I get out fro my town after my wife Honda comes in engine light 3rd time. I found City Tech Auto Repair in Rosemead, CA. The owner inspected the car and immediately I got a reasonable quote. He was friendly and honest. After waiting 3 h, the war was ready to hit the road back to home. The car now runs smoothly and no engine light comes on again. Very happy with the service provided. No complaints after all.I thank you personal and owner of City Tech Auto Repair in Rosemead. Very professional and knowledgable.Thank you so much for the great service. Highly recommended.

This place is nice for a quick oil change!!! Super awesome service! Quick, affordable, and I would say quite reliable. Its also worth noting I bought my own oil for them to change.

I had breaks changed and they changed it to used brakes, which they called "off the market" (sounds like it's just non names brands. It made a lot of sounds like it's really warned out. Not only that, they dented the brake drums. Years ago they used to be good, but now they can't be trusted, so I'm never coming back or would recommend anyone to them.

Whoever want to fix your car, making sure your car functions right before you leave, such as a/c, car wheels, engine oil leak and ... because they dont care after you paid. Be careful with this place.
