Outstanding. Came in with an almost 20 year old Tacoma with over 280k on the odometer. Truck had been rear ended on the freeway, and pushed into another car. Not to mention years of dings and scratches and faded paint.This truck looks brand new. I almost don't know what to do with it now. What used to look like a beater now could be in a showroom.Big thanks to Mike and all the techs here. Professional, skilled, great communication, and done without delay. If you're bringing in a car that means a lot to you, you can rest easy knowing these guys will get you taken care of. Thanks again

Best Autobody shop in town. From the estimate to the repairs they were quick and easy to work with. I dropped my car off on a Monday and was given a courtesy car because my insurance doesn t cover rental cars. They called me to update me on different findings and went to my insurance making the whole process seamless. And the best part aside from my car looking brand new is how fast the quality work was, I was able to pick my car up just three days later and they even cleaned the inside. Great company I will be recommending to everyone I know!!!

Mike was so accommodating and very good at communicating. There was a problem with the bumper that was sent and he made sure it was replaced and even called me in between to make sure I wasn t forgotten. Both times Mike made sure my car got washed and vacuumed! It was so nice, most especially since I m a busy mom.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

I was super happy with the work they did for my vehicle at downtown Autobody. Scuffs happen and it can make an otherwise beautiful looking car, worn and not in the most luxurious condition. I brought my car in and they not only buffed the scuffs out, but also threw in an exterior car wash :) they worked super fast, and were organized, kind, and the price I got was fantastic.I would definitely go back.Service: Painting

These guys went above & beyond from the initial visit to completion. Including a free loaner!! If could give more stars they'd be 10+. Can't say enough Truly!! If I need work again I will drive the distance to this shop Thank You Al & Mike.

I called Downtown Autobody yesterday and explained I was in a minor fender bender and the part of the bumper that wraps around to the side was a little loose. The person answering the phone (manager or owner) knew exactly what I was talking about and said to come in this morning. I thought it would be for an estimate. I was greeted right as I came in. They took my van immediately into the shop and went to work. The repair took about half an hour and I was not even charged! I was stunned and immensely thankful!! The people there are so knowledgeable, friendly, and quick. I highly recommend them for any auto-body needs.Service: Body & Trim

Great shop. They really helped me after the fires in 2017 when someone hit my car and I had to get more work done so of course I went back and excellent work again. They worked hard to get it back as quickly as possible. Good communication too.

One of the best customer service places I've ever been to! Mike is awesome - super responsive, kind, and communicative with updates. Although getting into an auto accident wasn't fun, it was nice that the "after" part of getting my car fixed was a pleasant one. They offer car rentals at no charge, and even dropped off my car at my location and did a car swap so I didn't have to drive back out to their shop. Since they offer lifetime repairs on work they do, I had a repair I needed afterwards and they were able to fix it with no questions or problems. Highly recommend!

These guys are the absolute best! Unfortunately my new work truck with utility bed has been rear ended twice. Both times Downtown auto body was on top of it dealing with the bed manufacturer and my insurance company. The repairs, repaint and powder coating were exceptional ( I used to paint cars). They cleaned my truck inside and out. I can't say enough good things about this shop. Professional and exceptional work.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Fantastic sums up my review. This is a review of recent Class A Motorhome bodywork down in a very timely manner by Downtown Autobody in Rohnert Park CA and managed for me by Mike Otten their estimator. Fantastic really sums up the job they did. I am a retired Physician, a bit obsessive/compulsive and generally find lots to complain of when having work done on a car or the Motorhome. This is the first and only time I have ever had work done and not a thing to complain about. Mike is great at anticipating and helping with the needs around such a repair. I had scraped up and distorted five storage compartments on a 40 foot Tiffin Phaeton motorhome and lost a mirror crossing the Middle River Bridge on Highway 4 in the California Delta. Before seeing Mike I had ordered a replacement passenger side rear mirror directly from Tiffin because a fellow camper warned me of difficulties getting them. Mike came to my RV site in Petaluma to examine the RV and provide an estimate. To my surprise he immediately volunteered to have his men install the mirror as soon as it arrived and at my convenience whether I used his company or not for the full job. Obviously I did use them for the total job. He did exactly what he said in a couple of days when the mirror arrived. He had his men stop the job they were working on and install the mirror (a tough job reaching the base for installation) at my convenience. He also volunteered and followed through on driving the RV to a local Garage when they finished the repair. This was for some mechanical work I wanted to schedule. Then when the mechanical work was done they took it back and detailed the outside of the motorhome to finish a beautiful job.The shop did an incredibly beautiful job on the repair and on matching the complicated multicolor paint job. They did it in a very timely fashion and completely to my satisfaction. This is not a phony review, these guys are genuinely one of the best businesses I have ever worked with. If I need body work done on a car or an RV in the future I will use them again if at all possible and I recommend you do so as well.Service: Body & Trim

I was recommended to see Gus at Downtown Autobody by a family friend after my car unfortunately got vandalized. The damage was pretty bad but Gus made this experience painless! The customer service by the entire staff was beyond exceptional. They really worked with my busy schedule and went out of their way to make sure this experience was as easy as possible. My car looks as good as new! Highly recommend!

I have unfortunate accidents with my cars being rear ended or side swiped around 6 times. Gus and his staff are professional courteous and do excellent work. You will never know your car had been in an accident. They go above and beyond with their service and I would and do highly recommend them to anyone needing auto body work.

I have been going to Downtown Auto body for years. Any time I had the unfortunate issue of car damage, Gus and his staff ate the very best. They always do great work, they provide a free car and they work with your insurance company so you don't have to stress the details. I would absolutely recommend them for auto repair work.

My husband and I were rear-ended not long ago. It was particularly upsetting because our car was new, with less than 4k miles driven. However, Downtown Autobody had been referred to me by friends and colleagues who assured me that this business would put the car back to its original pristine condition, which they did! Plus, they took care of all of the insurance and rental car arrangements. The only "reminder" of the accident is the license plate that, although Downtown Autobody thoroughly straightened, has a bit of a line through the middle. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who has been in an auto accident and wants not only excellent results BUT hand-holding through the process!

Thanks to Thomas Garvey, of Downtown Auto Body, my Tahoe looks as good as new! I took the insurance check to them on Friday, they ordered the parts that day and had it on Monday. Replaced my gate and bumper, and some several other smaller items, and had it back to me on Wednesday! And, to top if off, they paid for my rental car. And the rental company they used in RP, didn't even charge me for the gas I used. I highly recommend Tom Garvey @ DOWNTOWN AUTOBODY in Rohnert Park! He's the best! Hopefully I don't get into an accident any time soon, but if I do, I will return to Downtown.

I had my car repaired a couple weeks back, and I am amazed how perfect the work was and how easy it was to work with Gus and Mike. I am very impressed with their services. They were very helpful, put me in a loaner car immediately, the car was detailed to perfection, and they even assisted me with some fees. I would highly recommend this auto body shop, due to the perfect work, and great service.To some people you might view your car as your "baby" or as a materialistic item. However, you perceive it we all want a "nice" looking car. When I turned my car into Down town Auto Body my expectations were what I thought was realistic- meaning not extremely high but my car would be fixed. When I saw my fixed for the first time I realized everything on my vehicle was fixed (even minor dents not from the accident) and I felt as if I was starring at a brand new car.Thank you again Gus and Mike. I'm so Happy my friend from A Shade Darker recommened me to you!!!

I got in a fender bender, but I was able to drive home. Then I called Downtown Autobody to tell them I was coming in, figuring, I could drive home, so why not drive to the shop?Tom asked me all about the circumstances of my accident, and then he insisted on driving to my house to check out the car himself and make sure it was safe to drive to the shop. That right there is the kind of considerate, above-and-beyond service that characterized my entire interaction with Downtown.Tom and Gus called me almost every day of the scant week my car was in the shop to keep me updated. They provided me with a beautiful loaner car, which was so helpful. Tom even helped me re-install my toddler's car seat when I picked up the car!They worked with my insurance company so I really didn't need to do any of that stuff at all--what a huge relief. Again, they went hugely above and beyond for me. I'm so appreciative, and I will recommend them to anyone whose vehicle needs a little TLC.I wish I could show you a before-and-after photo here--I didn't have to get a new car, thanks to Downtown Autobody, but it kind of looks like I did!

They turned a bad experience into a good one. They took my car in, got me a rental, and handled everything with the insurance. Gus was a pleasure to work with. The paint job was perfect.

It's good to see somebody who likes to make sure it's done right. Gus told me if anything is ever wrong with the truck that he fixed for me, he would take care of it. I had a squeak later on, brought it back in, they fixed it- He even took the liberty of rolling a ding in my door for me, just because he saw it.

I went into Downtown Autobody to get an estimate on repairing my bent hood due to a minor accident. The staff ended up straightening it out free of charge. I am so grateful for their honesty and willingness to help out an independent college student!

There's nothing like having to lose your car and give it to a body shop to fix a hit and run you had nothing to do with! After our car was hit in the parking lot at the fair my wife tasked me with finding a good body shop in Sonoma County to deal with it. I did my research and it seemed like either G&C Auto Body or Downtown Auto Body. both in Rohnert Park. I decided to go with a more local, smaller shop hoping for better service and a faster turn-around! Man did we hit the jack pot. Mike was awesome . He was super pro-active and took amazing care of us. He always was available to talk and when he wasn't, he called back within a few minutes. This guy knows his stuff. he dealt with our insurance company and when they didn't want to step up to pay for blending the paint into the fenders he said "look, we're going to do it either way. It's the right way to repair your car and our reputation is more than that. We'll get it done the right way and just hope they pay. But if they don't, we'll cover it. Because every car that leaves our shop leaves the way it should," HOLY CRAP! DID YOU READ THAT! When I heard that, I was sold. BAM! Customer for life. We picked up the car. It was completely ready to pick up and looked great! Highly recommend people. Highly recommended! (oh, and they had it ready and on-time when they said they would!)

Nicest people ever! Went inside this morning after someone scratched the side of my car the nice man in the front helped me within seconds and I was back on my way!
