Wayne and the whole team at RFC are excellent. They communicate to you exactly what is going on so you can understand it. They never up-sell you or suggest work that is not needed.

Many years ago I worked in auto body at Ford. My first time at this shop,,, owner knows his way around cars, PLUS HE WAS HONEST, I needed a drive shaft, instead of 1000 at a dealer, he got me a new one from a parts house in Reno $585. He saved me $ and did a good job on the car. I came away very happy.

I came in with a nasty brake noise issue, they were able to immediately get me in, put my car in a lift, and fix the loose bolts causing the noise. I was in and out of the door in the mere minutes, and they were incredibly kind and professional. I was able to talk to the owners and it is incredible. They have been in Rocklin for 37 years. I will be taking all of our future vehicles to them and recommending them to all of our local friends. Highly recommend!

Lovely and honest folks. Our local Toyota dealership tried to screw us over on our repairs and upcharge us for work we didn't need. Were it not for Rocklin Foreign Car, we'd be thousands out of pocket.

We took our son's new-to-him car to have Rocklin Foreign Car assess its condition, and I am very happy with this business. They were professional, courteous, informative, prompt, and gave great advice. I will recommend them to any and all of my friends in the area who need foreign car service! I dropped my car (TDI) off for an emissions check engine light and a vibration at speed. They attempted to fix the emissions problem, but ultimately didn't. They also claimed to be looking into whether I had an emissions warranty. I spent all of 5 minutes on google with my VIN number and found out that I do. I'm guessing they aren't actually set up with VW, otherwise it would have been super easy for them to figure out. They never once called me about anything on the car. No work authorizations, no communications of any kind. If I didn't call, I heard nothing. I was sick for 2 weeks, in which time they were supposed to get the emissions problem figured out and had supposedly fixed the vibration. Neither problem is fixed and I never received a single communication from them in 2 weeks.Long story short, they had my car for close to a month and didn't fix anything. They did run the emissions cycle, it just didn't work, at which point they never came up with any other solutions or recommendations. I'm assuming they would have continued to just let my car sit in their yard for another month without doing anything further had I not just requested to pick it up.I have never dealt with a shop with such low professionalism. Maybe if you are a regular they treat you well. I cannot recommend this shop at all. Very disappointed. I hope other people continue to have good experiences, but mine was nothing short of very disappointing and unprofessional.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

Dropoff was awesome, communication was excellent and so far dealing with the guys have been seamless. They are working with my extended warranty and guided me through everything with text messages, pictures and videos as well. So far I'm more than happy with my experience.

Went to this place because of all the good reviews.. Dropped my car off for a rattle noise. Wayne calls me 7 hours later and says it s fixed, and has me pay over the phone. He told me that there was another noise that would be about $1200-1700 to fix. I told him I ll come back for that one. I trusted him, and when I went and picked it up, the initial sound I came in for was still there, including the clicking he discovered. Confronted him and he started to talk about all the zip ties he threw on the car to fix the sound. if the zip ties didn t fix the sound dude, then don t call me and lie to me telling me that the sound is gone. When I confronted him and asked him when I can come back, he said he s booked out till next week, and that he doesn t want to work with me anymore and said that he s not going to give me a refund either. Don t fix ANOTHER problem on the car and charge the customer, and lie to them on the phone telling them that it s all fixed, FIX THE PROBLEM THEY CAME IN FOR. if you can t, don t lie. Horrible business. They call themeselves European experts since 1996 or something, Wayne I m sorry but stop getting your friends to leave 5 star reviews to attract innocent customers like myself.Ended up going to a regular shop down the street who doesn t even specialize in European, and they lifted the car, moved the exhaust about an inch, and the sounds gone. They didn t charge me anything either. Wayne don t take this personal, take it as a lesson. Either learn to be truthful and honest to your customers, or just shut down in sake of all the other European car owners.The fact that he lied, and then tried to tell me that there s another sound on the car that ll take about $1500 to fix, makes me want to tell everyone about how horrible their business etiquette is.Don t go here. Not recommended.

I brought my car in for service and Wayne and his team took care of the problem with professional service, courtesy, and a smile. This was the first time I have been to this shop, but I know I will be taking all my cars to them. This is an auto shop you can trust. Thank you!

We have now had three great experiences @ Rocklin Foreign Car. Wayne and his team have replaced rear brakes, wheel bearings, and fixed an A/C leak for us quickly and at fair prices. Highly recommend Rocklin Foreign Car.

I'm only giving them a 1 star because it won't let me go any lower. We got our car fixed in late May and paid almost $900 for parts and labor. The last month it started heating up again , but it would go back down. We didn't think anything of it then today the part they installed completey broke off and all our fluids leaked in the middle of the parking lot. We called and the owner WAYNE refused to fix anything so we will be contacting our lawyer and BBB since they want to run a shady business . We spoke to someone that has been a macanic for 20+ years and he said we were not only over charged, but what there doing is completey illegal. Don't go here save your money !!! -Keith & Leandra

A first class, professional repair operation. Took a Acura auto to them for a second opinion diagnosis of another firm's diagnosis of a faulty transmission requiring $3,100 to $3,500 rebuild (Acura dealer quoted $4,600). The owner, Wayne, and his mechanic drove the car and immediately determined the transmission was ok and the problem was with 2 major motor mounts , which were replaced for $700. Car performed perfectly - no more clunks when downshifting and changing gears..Highly recommended. Acura dealer, goodby - Rocklin Foreign Car, hello for all future service and repairs.
