I work as an auto parts delivery driver. Of all the places I go, this is the one I chose for my oil change. I'm always impressed by the owners and the shop. Emil and Ryan are always professional and friendly. The office and the shop are always clean and nice looking. They did a great job on my car. I would recommend them to anyone. And, the price was good also. Thank you guys for running a nice business.

1 star for polite service. But politeness won't keep us safe while driving my NOW broken car. Thought I found my new go-to-mechanic... Nope!Brought my 2004 gasoline Dodge in for a routine oil change. The day after the service, my engine was bubbling and the oil light came on! A week later, my engine light came on and is staying on, the radiator bone dry. My young son and I were stranded ON THE FREEWAY ON THANKSGIVING DAY! I brought up the fact, to Emil, that I've never had such problems since owning the vehicle. He was shocked and didn't have any answers. His "fix" was to leave my car, drain the coolant, drive my car, and repeat until ALL the coolant was drained.... This would BURN my engine! NEVER, NEVER going to this place again. And writing this review to warn others. Think twice before buying into all the 5 star reviews and cheap prices, like I did.Oh, the picture: Steve the "mechanic" dropped and lost my original oil cap, not bothering to take the time to find it, and simply replaced it with an ill fitting one from the shop. I found my original cap inside my engine, wedged under the radiator hose! I brought the shop oil cap back to Emil. "What's this?" I told him what happened... Not concerned whatsoever.

If your car needs work, you definitely want to go to Block & Shelton. You won't be disappointed. We now have a great place to take our vehicles to get fixed. Kept us informed about the problem & how to fix the problem. My son needed a new engine in his truck 6 years ago & they did a superb job. We highly recommend Bloc & Shelton.

This place is honest and the best auto repair in all Riverside! I never have problems after a repair or getting the guys to work on my car. The owner Emil and his son are always helpful and other mechanics on staff are just great too. They work with you and give you lowest prices in town.I've been going there for 4 yrs. and will continue to have my car serviced for yrs. to come. 2010 KIA

These guys are some of the nicest and intelligent mechanics I ve been able to meet. It s hard to find a place that is reliable and looking out for you as a customer. They always answer when I call and fit me in if they can. I ve been coming here for about 2-3 years now. Emil and his team really know what they are doing when it comes to car repair. I don t see myself going to any other Shop.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Oil change

Me and my family have been going to block n Shelton over 50 years had to have some work done on my wife's escape they beat the dealer by hundreds and I feel safe with block will not go anywhere else!!

If you are looking for honest mechanics that know what they're doing, go here. They will address what is specifically wrong with your vehicle and get it fixed quickly. I took my BMW in right before they closed on Monday and they finished it Tuesday evening. Great shop!! I will definitely be going back and will be referring my friends and family.

Emil the owner and his son are always available to help when you first arrive and treat you like a friend. This shop is very efficient and not expensive with your auto repairs! My only go to mechanics!

I have been taking my cars here for years. Emil runs a great business and provides friendly service. If you need a tune up, engine work or oil change I would recommend giving them a try.

Great shop near downtown Riverside! The owner and his employees are the best! They are all helpful and very knowledgeable. The shop itself is always super clean and they offer the best prices in town! I highly recommend Block & Shelton Garage!

The guys at Bloch & Shelton really helped me out when I had my car towed to there shop due to my check engine light coming on. I have absolutely no knowledge of cars, and the guys were professional and went above expectation when explaining what needed to be done to fix the problem. I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends!Thanks Bloch and Shelton Garage!!!

Awesome people randy and his father Emil top notch dudes to deal with!! I take my truck and wife's Avalon to them and them only!! Could've really screwed me thinking I needed a new a/c compressor but they looked it over and found that all I needed was some new belts these guys saved my hundreds $$$$ real honest people for sure

we sold a motor to Andre Booker at Bloch Shelton garage and they tried to reverse there payment after we shipped the item, they filed a charge back on there card and got there money back from paypal after we shipped the item, I would be careful using these guys they are shady and tried to get something for nothing.Andre Booker was rude and left negative feedback for us because the shipping company got the street name wrong on the shipping label. we got it fixed and it was delivered just fine. Now they have left us negative feedback for nothing... I want people to know what this guy is doing to people and refrain from using this shop due to there lack of integrity.....

My experience with this garage was awful. I had some electrical work done and they damaged the interior of my car severely, with scratches and chunks of plastic missing and pieces put back together incorrectly. They also completely broke the air conditioning unit of my car, which was devastating and unrelated to the issue I took it in for. I took my car to another shop and they couldn't believe how badly mine had been butchered.

This place is awesome! They get you in and out. They are very friendly, understanding, honest, and very conscientious about their work. If you live or work in the local area they will take you there and pick you up when your car is ready.

I was in a hurry and needed to get my transmission serviced before I left on a big trip. Emil took care of me and made it fit into both our schedules. I will be taking my truck back whenever I need a shop!

Guys were nice. Thought they were trying to help by checking to see what's wrong, but because they couldn't find anything they sent me home with a caliper missing bolts and ruined it blaming me. I went in with a small noise and left with it un-driveable.
