All can say is that I will not be returning to Aamco in Riverside. Market st. I can only speak from my own personal experience. And at first I thought they were cool and very helpful with meeting my vehicles needs buy turns out that after they changed the transmission fluid on my car. The very next day most of it leaked out on my driveway. So I took it back to them and supposedly they checked it and fixed the problem well fast forward to a couple of months later now I'm having to replace the transmission tray because it was leaking due to them damaging it. Not to mention a couple of other things that I also noticed after they replaced my axle too. Also my tires were all 4 fairly new. And had just been recently rotated elsewhere. But after them servicing my car at aamco, I noticed 1 tire that was almost bald. ( definitely NOT the same tire!) I should have trusted my gut from the beginning and never agreed to letting them service my car. My car just never felt right after that. I spent about $1,500. For them to do a sloppy and careless job.

I had my 2014 Jeep towed in due to overheating, the shop was able to diagnose my vehicle and began working quickly. when i got my vehicle back ot was still overheating & i was missing a piece of plastic under my hood (not a big deal but not okay) when i took my Jeep back to AAMCO they did not know where the piece was eventually they found it. They let me know that my water pump went out and my lower & upper hoses were bad, so i had to pay more instead of them finding all the problems at once. I asked the manager why they did not find these problems the week they had my vehicle, the manager got an attitude with me immediately, & told me they had to fix one problem in order to find the others. When I got my Jeep back the second time it was covered in radiator fluid or something from under the hood. AAMCO in Riverside is very lazy, they forget to put pieces of your car back, they do not connect parts they take apart & the manager Estella is very rude. by far this was the worst customer service experience I've ever had. Restroom dirty, got charge to tell me what my check engine light was wrong and charge to repair, I think they shouldn't charge for telling you what's wrong and repair, just charge for repair, my total like 1586.00 lie about check your check engine for free, so they call it a diagnostic, and it took 4 days to let me know what was wrong, I had no option than to get the work done there,

I totally recommend Riverside AAMCO on Market Street anybody that might have issues with their transmissions. i ve been going to this repair shop for many years now and never have I had any issues with the repairs or personnel. Shout out to Estella who was absolutely helpful and kind and knew how to explain in detail the issues in my vehicle. They were kind, quick and honest. 10 out of 10 for me. . They're always so nice there and try to help me make the best decision for my vehicle. This last time it was a bit pricey and she helped me get it financed over the phone. Now my car is running like a dream

In January, I took my truck into AAMCO to get a control module replaced, and in July, my check engine light came on. I took it back to AAMCO to get it looked at they said it was an electrical problem and told me to find a nether place to take it because they don't do electric. So I got it towed to another place. I had to pay the 350 just for them to find the problem, and they said it was my control module, so I had them fix it after they fixed it. I went back to AAMCO and told them it was my control module, and I told them they replaced my control module in January, and the lady said okay why did I have the other place fix it when I had a warranty for the control module that I'm still paying on they said why I didn't take it back to AAMCO to get it fixed. So what they wanted me to get it towed back to them after they said that they don't do electrical I mentioned that to the lady and she said in January they did have an electrical guy but no longer have anyone to do that that means I got screwed for $2000.

Got my transmission serviced here as a walk in customer. Great customer service, vehicle was done same day and runs like a champ. Woman that helped me was very knowledgeable and Friendly. Will definitely be returning. Thank you!

I got my transmission rebuilt here and they did a great job. Great customer service. Andy told me what was wrong and the price he qouted me was what I paid. Would trust my Cadillac Escalde anytime with them. Got it done in 3 days. Very satisfied. Recommend to everyone. Great and understanding staff.

honest shop, great service, amazing staff very down to earth. my car was done when promised. You get what you pay for not cheap but quality work at an affordable price. AAMCO Andy and Estela were awesome and took care of me. I will definitely be back and will be sending friends and family.

This place is great. They were very informative. They kept me up to date with my vehicle and they ways informed me of any hiccups they ran into along the way. I will be bringing more of my vehicles here. The front desk help was nice and professional. And one things that I love is when someone tells me when my vehicle is ready and it's actually ready on time. This business did that and I was very appreciative of the honesty that came along with doing business with them.

This is the 3rd time that I have had to bring my car back for issues with my rebuilt transmission. Every time they keep my car for 5 days to look for the problem, s�rwhich means I go 5

Stella and Beto are consummate professionals who clearly understand the value of good old fashioned customer service.They were engaging and sent pictures of the problem diagnosis and proceeded accordingly. As an Engineer who works with a team of Engineers that all drive BMW's we were curious to see how well they would not only diagnose the problem, which no one else could but charge to make the Car a BMW 525i suitable for driving. They were very fair, substantially less than what BMW would have charged. I am driving my Car and I am extremely happy. Will never ever go anywhere else again. Went a little over a year ago for an engine rebuild for my 2003 4runner and now It s getting fixed again for the same problem, and throughout the time I had it I was told by other mechanics the parts that were put in it when it was rebuilt were cheap, when I took it to a mechanic this time I was told it was missing a part between the heads to keep it from overheating, overall I m pretty disappointed having had dropped a lil over 5k on it to have to take it somewhere again in a little over a year to spend more money, do not recommend coming here for a big job like that, your better off finding yourself a mechanic working from home that ll work with your budget.

Go anywhere but here. They had my Jeep for a week to fix an issue that was not fixed. Additionally, I had to keep calling to find out the status of my vehicle, each time I was told by Andy, that they were really busy because customers wanted their cars back that day (yeah I was one of those customers). Mind you, I dropped my vehicle off on Saturday, and was told it would be looked at on Monday, and I would receive a call letting me know what s wrong with it, and it should be returned to me on Wednesday. When I called on Tuesday (after not receiving a phone call on Monday), Andy told me they had not even looked at it. Each time I called it seemed like a huge inconvenience for them, really? I m paying you for a service!The issue I was having was with my transmission (found this out by taking it elsewhere) not my clutch, which they said needed to be replaced. I literally spent over twelve hundred dollars to drive off their lot with the same issue I drove on the lot with!?!? I had high hopes for this place, unfortunately I was let down. Trust me, go somewhere else.

If AAMCO Andy would ve went down just $100, I would ve had them rebuild my 6l80 for $3,400. On top of that, he hangs up the phone on me when I wouldn t agree with the price. Then he proceeds to submitting finance applications to 2 different lenders, when I clearly told him to wait, so we can work on the price. He does this after he hangs up the phone on me. BUT WAIT! THERE S MORE! When I sent the tow truck back to pick up my truck from their shop, he gives the tow company a hard time, saying that I have to pay the bill before he can release the truck to them. WHAT BILL ANDY? YOU DIDN T PAY FOR THE TOW, I DID. I believe he was mad that I was towing my truck to get fixed at another shop for $900 cheaper than his quote. When I asked for how much the rebuild was going to cost in TOTAL, he quoted me $3,600.00, but then proceeded to say that it can be more if the pump, and hard parts were damaged. He wouldn t give me a set price. He went on to say that it can go upwards of $3,900.00+, depending on what else is damaged in the transmission. Andy needs to change his attitude when it comes to customers willing to work with their expensive prices. You provide a service. You just need to realize that you re not the only one providing that service. You lost $3,400.00 in revenue because you thought you could hang up the phone on me and think I d call you back. I m not one of those customers. I know what I have and what it s worth. Have great day.

Good customer service. Technicians are good. BUT PQ was $800 - $1000 MORE for trans rebuild and same warranty than 2 other shops !

This place is a wonderful place to get your car fixed. I did not have enough money but they found me financing to help me pay for the repairs. The manager is Stella and Andy we're absolutely amazing. We would recommend them for all of your car care needs.

HORRIBLE BUSINESS!!! Spent 3k on a trans swap..brought it home. Gears slipped and went to limp mode. The owners didn t even test or rule out the valve body. Who does that?! Instead of reviewing every aspect of the trans oh you guys messed it up ...how? They blamed us that we bottomed out the pan/ under body of car...We had it looked at else where and the other shop couldn t understand how we would do that when the bottom of car was not damaged just the pan of the swapped trans. They said we broke the warranty....no, they sold us a bum trans. They just played us BAAADDD and made us think we ruined the car when we didnt do anything. My husband is a tech but with busy schedules you d think a major brand could just do it right. WRONG!!!3k wasted!!!! We bought a new valve body and solenoids...cost $600. My 2005 530i NOW runs perfectly. We repeatedly told them what the problem was but all they did was just drive it around and said there was no issue..DO NOT GO HERE! If you do....YOU ve been WARNED!!! I d give no stars if I could. PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE!!! They do not know what they are doing...Actually they do, they know how to SCAM!!

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, & CANT DO A SIMPLE JOB AND A TIMELY MANNER. They have a 2.5 rating for a reason!!! Do yourself a favor and go to another mechanic. I dropped my car off 36 hours ago! And they still haven't even done a diagnostic. The front desk lady is rude and disrespectful and the mechanic doesn't seem to even remember what he originally quoted me.Service: Transmission

The last time I was at Aamco was in the late 60's!!! I swore I would never return.When I found out that NO ONE would work on the make and type of vehicle I own...... except Aamco (other than a dealer), I was NOT happy about taking my car there, but I did, with the full expectation of a law suit to follow.WOW! was I wrong. The people working there NOW, are wonderful! From Lance at the front desk, to Adrian (shop Mgr), to Victor (an "ace" mechanic), these guys figured out a problem that THREE other shops could not find.....and they did it in ONE DAY.I will not hesitate to return, or to recommend them to anyone. This shop is NOW the type of shop that you wouldn't be afraid to send your wife or daughters to. And, to all of you guys out there......you KNOW what I'm talking about.This shop is not the cheapest, nor the most expensive. However, they may very well be the BEST in all of the Inland Empire!Kudos to all you guys at Riverside Aamco, and the incredible 180 you've done!

ANDY!! My MAN.this man kept his word all through the obsticles my car was giving him. I appreciate the honesty and positivity from ANDY. If you live in Riverside County I Highly recommend AAMCO-Riverside over any other city in the county. Professional staff all around, especially the mechanics. I had a bad situation at the AAMCO-Moreno Valley. I dont trust that shop after the problem i was having with their mechanic and the manager. ANDY from AAMCO-Riverside helped me out with all the repairs needed to fix the problem the other shop did not do. He was able to credit me labor charge from the previous job done at AAMCO-Moreno Valley and applied it towards the repairs needed on my transmission. Over all he did a great job with my car that I now trust my car to drive from CALIFORNIA to COLORADO. My car is a 2001 focus with 254k and it feels great now.THANKS ANDY!!

Great experience! All the gentlemen were so helpful,fast, and efficient. They found out the core problem and gave me the best price. They even cleaned the mud from under my car, causing my wheels to be unbalanced, for free. I thoroughly enjoyed my experienced and look forward to coming back. Thank you AAMCO!
