Took my truck in after breaking down with a no start no crank, told me it would be 3 days for a diagnosis. Shop called me back in 2 days with a solution and fixed it but discovered a whole seperate issue related to the first. They fixed the problem and had the truck back to me in a week. Broken flywheel and transmission replacement. All the mechanics were knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Would highly recommend for any diesel service.

By far the best diesel shop I drive 3 hours one way I will not let anyone touch my truck other than them they fully rebuilt my engine and ever small problem (nothing to do with the rebuild)they handle quick and efficiently for me it does not matter the cost because I know they do one hell of a job

I took my truck to this place to get a second opinion on my trucks engine because my computer was failing and I had the check engine light on. The first shop I took it to told me that the problem was the computer. I sent my computer to get fixed and when I received it, it still had the same problem. They then told me that they weren't sure if the problem was my computer or if their equipment was not working properly. I took my truck to this place (your shop) because a friend recommended it and they also told me it was the computer. They began fixing other problems my truck had and did not notify me. I waited over 2 months for my truck to be fixed but they never fixed the main problem which was the computer. I was tired of waiting and asked if I could pick up my truck and to my surprise, they charged me over $1,000 when they didn't even fix the problem . I know people who know a bit about mechanics and even they were surprised at the amount I was charged. I would have thought they would have been more understanding considering the amount of time I waited for them to fix the problem. I do not tend to leave negative feedback but I don't think I was treated fairly.

I was a long ways from home and needed help and the crew at Brown's diesel absolutely came through. Not only were they very friendly, they were extremely knowledgeable and took care of my every need and got me back on the road and making money again and the total cost of the job was less than the initial estimate with some additional work. Brown's diesel was a blessing in a time of need and I would absolutely recommend these guys too anyone who needs a team of true professionals that will take care of your every need

I'm from Clovis and work in Oakhurst and my truck wouldn't start. I dropped it off at Browns diesel and I got minutes away and got a call that my truck was running. I worked on it for two days and took it to a shop and it was there for a week and they couldn't get it running. These guys have my loyalty and I will be back. Everyone is so nice and cool and they care! My brother took his son's 99 Cummins and he told me to take it there first and I should have listened. My 01 is back on the road. Thank you Eric!! Amazing mechanics and service!!!!!!

I had an issue with my transmission, I drove 3 hours to have Reb look at it. He knew right away what the issue was. Reb Is extremly knowledgeable on these Dodge 48RFE transmissions, especially if you have a built Gerorand transmission. Reb, Goose and his staff were top notchto work with. Well worth the 3 hour drive, I highly recommend Reb and his team for all your deisel and truck needs. Look forward to working with Browns Deisel in the future.Service: Transmission

Got a gorend trans put in from them with a triple disc and billet flex plate and they are always happy to help over the phone even when I have a dumb question

I first took my truck to browns October of 2020 because of the outstanding reviews, I usually don't take my vehicles anywhere so its pretty hard for me to trust someone with my truck. Browns did a complete engine rebuild on my truck new downpipe some electrical steering and Suspension work they went above and beyond may of had some issues with the machine shop they use but they handled the situation as fast as they could and were very professional about it . Goose did a great job keeping me updated and always looking out for my best interest this won't be the last time going to Browns I 100% recommend this company for anything diesel related these guys are the subject matter experts. Another thing be patient with them they are jammed packed 24/7 for a reason they will get done right.Services: Exhaust, Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Air conditioning, Oil change

Changed out transmission on a 3 day turnaround. Still working on putting 1000 miles on to take back and change fluids. Great shop and Goose who I dealt with is great. I would go to Browns Diesel for any work needed.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

They did a great job with my 01 excursion 7.3 diesel. The price was a little more than my liking but I m cheap so that doesn t say a lot, but definitely worth every penny. Truck was running very sluggish the Visalia Ford dealership wanted to charge me 10k for this and that so I took it to browns and the truck didn t need everything FORD said in the end I ended up paying about 2k!!!! Truck runs like a champ, more power, and better fuel economy although it has 290k miles. Would take my truck back in a heartbeat if anything else needed to be done.Price is great!Service is great!Communication is great!

had three mechanics work on my truck and one I believe caused the oil leak when replacing the glow plugs...they tried to fix the leak twice, then another mechanic tried twice, then a diesel mechanic worked on it twice..., i even suggested he check the pedestal and ge said no it wasnt leaking..Browns Diesel fixed the leak the first time....pedestal leaks. Brown's diesel will have all my business from now on.

AMAZING!!! We were moving my step son from WA to AZ and we lost boost on our F350 at 7am just outside of Fresno. We found an open shop near us who sent us to Brown's. They said it was the only shop to go to with a diesel. We will forever be indebted to them for that referral!!!Brown's was clearly booked solid; however, they made the time to diagnose our truck. Their staff was very kind to my family, even giving us a ride to a different town to find a hotel while the truck was being worked on. Was not a quick or easy fix but they stuck with it until they got us on the road again. They were awesome!! Can't thank them enough for not only getting us back on the road with a great running truck but for not taking advantage of a horrible situation. I can't thank them enough.

Ken did a great job explaining the cp4 fuel injection pump issues and conversion, and getting it done very quickly. Recommended to Brown s by a friend and would recommend them to you!

Took my truck in to have new injectors glow plugs and glow plug harness, they replaced the injectors but not the glow plugs until I took the truck back and they only changed half. They also charged me for the oil change and did not replace the filters which caused a very big lack of power will not bring my truck back as I feel they charge a lot for mediocre work now.

handed my 6.oh over to them did great work fixed the problems and then some. for the price, the level of work your getting is well worth it. They thoroughly inspect the trucks to make sure the problems solved I wasn't in a rush to get my truck back but it did take a little longer than I thought but I was informed of the back up when I dropped it off.

I have the ford 6.0l. enough said about that! Browns worked on my truck approximately four years ago; they installed a BPD system that replased the biggest problematic areas. This happened after having every issue known for these trucks. We'll, since four years ago I have not had one problem with the truck and I've put it through some s**t! Browns is one of those rare businesses that is honest; they deserve all our business.

We were camping at Lindys Landing in Reedley and getting ready to tow home on Sunday. Well truck started acting up, stalling and actually shutting off while driving. No way I'm towing a 36ft toyhauler with my family like that. Insurance wanted to tow it 15 miles only. I said no, you're towing to Brown's Diesel cuz my buddy had his truck fixed there and i know they're good. Get there, no drop box or anything, so I'm thinking break a window and the cameras will see me? But my buddy notices cell phone on the sign. So I call and Richard answered first ring, and says he'll be right there. No kidding he gets there before the truck is even off the tow truck!!And takes the time on a Sunday to pull my truck into the shop and I tell him what it's been doing.Monday morning at 930am Josh calls and I give him a quick rundown of what it was doing and the guys go to work looking for the problem. He thinks high pressure oil pump, and checks egr valve.Calls back after switching out egr valve and thinks no its the crank sensor. Next day they put in new sensor and drive it, and no issues. And way cheaper than an oil pump. Picked up Friday and drive to brother in laws and drives great!! These guys are awesome. Definitely gonna bring my truck back for more work in the future. Even though I live 1 1/2 hrs away.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Broke down with the F250 and 5th wheel on I5 in the middle of California. After some brief roadside research I zeroed in on Brown's. Eric diagnosed it on the phone..blown oil cooler. I had my rig towed to Brown's on Tuesday, and the team had me on the road by Thursday afternoon. I then finished my trip, with not a single drop of water or oil she'd from the beast, including some decent mountain passes. Great work. Thanks to Eric, Mike, and the team.

I dropped my truck off with the mechanics at Brown's thinking that they would take their time with my truck to fix the fuel pump problem. not only did they downgrade my 150 gph raptor that I paid for and installed myself to a 100 gph, they had me pay for the used pump that they salvaged from another truck. my dodge is STILL down because the pump they installed has failed because it is too small. Do NOT take your truck here. They are more focused on their own trucks and the events they attend.

I had Brown's install a dsp5 switch in my LLY Duramax a couple of years ago and the tunes have worked beautifully. The day before I moved to Spokane Washington I had a problem with loss of power and lots of smoke. I was worried about towing on the trip, they fit me into their busy schedule and were able to fix my problem on the spot. They are very knowledgeable and experienced, I highly recommend their shop.

This is pretty simple. If you want your diesel truck fixed right the first time at a reasonable cost, go to Brown's. They do a great job and are really good to work with! Thank you!

I've been here several times for varying levels of repairs and maintenance (oil changes, injectors, new transmission, etc...). Very honest shop that backs up their work. I would highly recommend this shop.

These guys are friendly and very knowledgeable. I'm very picky on who I leave my truck with and was probably in their shop half a dozen times picking their brain....not once did they blow me off or get annoyed with all my questions before I actually dedicated to letting them work on my truck. Thanks guys

Its a good place but they don't know everything. I asked,"what would happen if the time continuum matrix were to become sucked into a hole caused by an imploding white dwarf star?" They dont have a clue

Nothing but helpful! Had my transmission built there and rebuilt when I wanted more power. Had some complications and Reb took care of it. Highly recommend

Supper busy but found them to be helpful, have a motorhome with a diesel motor they could not help me, but found someone who could... that's cool
