They solved a problem i was having with my car that no one else could figure it out! Went to 4 different places before then because of a knocking sound on the driver side front wheel. Fair price and fast service. Couple hours after dropping my car off the CV Axle had been replaced and car drives like new! Super friendly customer service definitely went above and beyond! Will be coming back for sure!

Had my transmission rebuilt for my rat rod, it immediately failed. Called them up and they asked me to bring the car in this time so he could see it in the vehicle. After 3 weeks of dodging my calls, and lame excuses they finally got it done. I went to get it and had a $400 bill, but in all fairness they did fix a coolant leak for me also. I picked it up and the transmission felt pretty. Good until on the way home the radiator fell into the motor. After examining the radiator there were 8 fasteners not installed. nkw the design of my rat rod requires you to remove. Shroud etc to add coolant. This is why all the fasteners were missing. I called them up and told them what happened and he said we never put coolant in it. I said but you fixed the coolant leak and he says yeah but we ran out of coolant so didn't put any in! Are you kidding me? This is beyond the beyond so we will see how it plays out but I'm not going away quietly, I hope you if you read this I save you so me headache, and you find someplace reputable because this is not it!

The best transmission shop I've ever been to, the employees were soo helpful. My car is working better than ever 10 out of 10 would recommend if you are looking to get your transmission replaced or fixed.

Had two other places look at my car and being charged with no change to my issues I came across SMI, very friendly staff helped me right away. After an oil change and inspection they were able to tighten up some loose screws from a previous place. I ve since then come back for brake changes and all my other car needs. I highly recommend SMI

Had new heads put on. With new hoses and gaskets.. excellent job Red is a excellent mechanic and is known for building race car Transmission's.. his staff are all good..

Go to West Coast Transmission!! This place here replaced the transmission in my work van which failed a few months later, and they wouldn't re warranty replacement, and my exhaust vibrated because they didn't do a good job putting it back in place after they installed the 2nd transmission. The 2nd one shifted hard into 2nd gear and ended up failing shortly after the warranty expired. I referred a friend there before all this for they're work van and they're transmission failed a year and a half later after warranty expired. Plus they jacked my friend around two other repairs prior to the transmission. They act like they care and want to hook you up, but in the end you get screwed.

Replaced cataliti converter with wrong one. Won't pass smog. Shop would not put right part on.Had to pay different shop to do the work.

I live in Oregon but am from Sacramento. I called around here and was not satisfied. I called Shift Management and they shipped a transmission up to me. Great service, knowledgeable, helpful, and walked us through the whole process.

They know how to drop a pan but they don't know how to tighten the bolts! I had my Ford Focus auto transmission drained and replaced with filter about a year ago and It had a slow leak ever since. I finally got under the car for something else and decided to check the pan bolts. Well they were all only hand tight!

First exprience whit this company is not good. I requested a detailed estimate and bill. Service writer informed me that the bill would be higher if he had to give a detailed receipt.Which is madatory by Law int the state of California.They first quoted me $1200 and stated that they would charge at the most $1500 if hard parts were require. A couple of days later he called and told me it was going to be an additional $500 not the three hundred the initially. Now the bill is up to $1700 . II will not reccommend this shop to any one.

known the owners an smog most their cars great and friendly people they have fixed a few of my familys cars and trucks have had a tranny problem since thank you guys keep up the good work an far pricing compared to out shops will update on my new truck they are about to fix
