Gave this place a call and the exceptionally friendly owner got me in within 20 minutes and the test itself couldn't have taken more than 10 minutes. I can't say enough good things about this place. The place is clean and has a nice little waiting room with a comfortable couch and has AC for the desert summer heat.The price is great too and I think less than others in town.Highly recommended if you only need a smog check!

Just left the shop and RAN to write this review! Dennis was so helpful and turns out my poor old Volvo needs a smog referee. The shop is very clean and welcoming. Beautifully decorated. Please give them a try. By far the best in town!Service: Smog certificationService: Smog certification

Within 20 minutes of being there the guy working went out of his way for me when he didn t have to nor was he asked to. I had accidentally changed my default setting for mileage & tire pressure readings back to factory setting. So everything read in km or kpa. I didn t ask him to he just did it. Made a difference to me.

My husband called and Smog Pros was able to fit me in for same day appointment, which was very helpful because I was coming in from California City for the DMV. They had a nice and cozy waiting area for my kids and I to wait. It was a smooth and quick experience, good pricing as well. They are friendly and have a good customer service. This owner of this place is AWESOME!! I called for directions just before closing but knew I wouldn't make it in time. He called to let me know he had to run someplace but would come back after hours and still do my smog! How awesome is that! His place was nice and clean. He was friendly and I was in and out of there in 15 minutes! Excellent place! I highly recommend you bring your business here!!

Fast and efficient, but pricey. It was for an RV, so it may have been more because of that, but it cost around $100. But they were incfast and friendly, and got me in the same week I called. All in all, I would not hesitate to use them again.

I LOVE smog Pros!!!Quick---down town--same pricing if not cheaper then anyone else in town - able to smog fixed gross polluter's-same GREAT service same great price!I Highly reccomend Smog Pros! ! The guy is great, cool and professional. We walked in, no wait! We explained that the car needs a smog, and we had simple concerns because it had not been used in 6 months, and we were in the process of selling it. He said no problem we'll see how it goes, and it will be 10 minutes. Less than 10 minutes goes by and he came back with a Pass test. He explained to us how the information is sent electronically to the DMV. And we were free to go straight there to retrieve our tags. Now I'm not sure why the other reviewers couldn't say the same thing. We were a little hesitant to come here after reading the other reviews, but now we are so glad we did. Clean shop, clean wait area, friendly and informative Owner. Quick service, great price. What's not to like!? Go to the SMOG PROS!

Very nice place. The office is clean and inviting and very nicely decorated. There is coffee and fruits for the customers. The service was done in 10 minutes and I was able to pay my registration online immediately after the appt. I didnt have to send any paperwork in. Overall 10/10. Great shop.

Fast in and out. Cute waiting area. $53 for my 2011 RAV4. It's a one man show so if he isn't there call him. He was giving someone a jump off site when I arrived. But arrived shortly.

I drove by there today, kinda lost. And someone came out yelling at me something, probably racial. I approached him to try and clarify what he said, and he said nevermind, I'm F'N with you. Strangest thing Ives experience from Ridgecrest. Stay away from this place, they might cuz you out.

Turns out if your check engine light is on regardless of the reason it's a auto fail. They were at least nice enough not to charge me more something they knew I would fail.

I went last week but their smog check equipment was down .. so just make sure call them n than visit. Otherwise place is very good.. professional service .. $45 for smog .. very reasonable compared to other place in town.

Incredibly rude. I simply called and wanted to know if I had the right company and they refused to verify and said I had 5 seconds to talk before they hung up on me. Will never recommend this horrible place.

We took a truck to get smogged a year ago and it failed. Ended up taking it somewhere else right away and it passed. Recently we had a car that was smogged 3 months ago and passed at another shop. Didn't register it in time and had to re-smog and it failed at SmogPros. Took it somewhere else the next day and passed no problem. Shady business he has here, and I'm not the first one to say it in this town.

DENNIS AND HIS CREW ARE AWESOME.. WE HAD A SMOG APPT TODAY AND WERE IN N OUT OF THERE IN LITERALLY 7 MINS.. DONE!!! AND ON OUR WAY.. NO JOB TOO BIG OR TOO SMALL THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU.. HONEST AND NOT OVERCHARGING . HIGHLY RECOMMEND SMOG PROS.

I went in for an oil change, and was shocked to hear that the DMV had my papers, and I asked why would they have my papers for an oil change, and the not so bright gal at the counter said because of my smog check. I said I came in for an oil change! Her boss refused to make it right, so they lost me as a former long time customer. I'll never go there again. Think twice before going there.
