Don t buy from here there s better places to waist your time. I had bought an engine from here took forever to show up and when it did it was completely unusable the inside of the engine was rusted and had bent valves I played e-mail tag with there costumer support for months sending them all the info for a refund or a new engine when they just stopped responding once I was able to get ahold of someone els there I was told that they had another engine for me that ended up being rusted inside as well so it ended up more phone tag with it ending me giving them all my information for a refund and a 100% grantee would be back to me in the few days that I m the first person they would get this done on there list that was months ago never to be heard long story short don t buy from here unless you want expensive boat anchors

I own an Auto Repair facility in Sothern California. I have purchased many engines and transmissions from Shamrock over the last 5 years. I only had one problem with a 4.0L Jeep engine that appeared to run to hot. The Guys at Shamrock were very communicative throughout the whole process I went through to determine that, after all tests were completed, the engine was fine. The gauges on the Jeep were inaccurate. Before I reached my final determination, I was told that if the testing resulted in the findings that the engine was bad, they would send another one. I can only say good things about my experiences with them. Yes sometimes you will be on hold for a bit while they help other callers...(Can't be as bad as these other reviews make them out to be or no-one would be calling!!!!) but then again I'm on hold with half the companies I do business with these days, its just how things are anymore. They are my go to for engines and transmissions, if they don't have what I need them I have to look elsewhere and that sucks because I always get good parts from these guys, I trust them!!!! I hate swapping engines twice and for free the second time!!!! Anyways, Thanks Shamrock for being a reputable Salvage Yard. 5 STARS ALL THE WAY *****OH I FORGOT TO ADD THE HOLD MUSIC ON THEIR PHONE LINE IS HILLARIOUS!!!!!!

My one experience with this company has been a disappointment and I do not recommend their business. I purchased the part, installed the part, took it for a test drive, the part broke on the test drive (see pictures) and I was towed back home. Upon getting home I installed my original part and the truck is back to where I started in working order. Considering my original part is functioning fine and I installed it myself, it's hard for me to believe it was installation error; I was sold a faulty transfer case.As a consumer I was sold a faulty product that cost hundreds of dollars and incurred additional costs due to its failure. Shamrock has offered no solution, no replacement part, no remedy whatsoever. They've stated that because I installed the part myself, there is nothing I can do. Warranties don't apply to something that doesn't work and I purchased the part expecting it to be in good working condition. It was not. I do not recommend doing business with this company.

I ordered an ignition switch for a kia sorento. They are about 3 hours from me so I requested that they ship it. The price of shipping and the cost of the part were reasonably priced. I paid over the phone on Monday 4/10/23 and was told that I would most likely have the part that Wednesday 4/12/23 if not Thursday 4/13/23. Friday came and the part wasn't here. I called and was told that the person in charge of shipping was gone for the day and to call back. Repeated this process until 4/18/23 where they just refunded my money since they were unable to verify if the part was actually shipped or provide a tracking number. Pretty bummed that I had to search for the part and repeat the process but I am very appreciative that they recognized the mistake and gave me a hassle-free refund.

On hold for nearly 20 minutes.They require 24-48 hours after receiving payment before the part is ready, but make no mention about it on their website. I wanted to get a part as I traveled through the area, but because of the waiting period, I was unable to.

No starsAbsolutely no STARS......THIS A CLASSIC CASE OF HOW AUTO PLACES SCREW WOMEN OVER ..my wife called ordered a part. Paid for it over the phone with her card.The person that was picking it up for us Saw it was the wrong part. So we left it there at the salvage yard.Now we are trying to get the money back and they are blowing us off. For 2mounths now.. seems pretty shotty to me....

Drove 500 miles to pick up a roof. They promised it would be 100% ready when I arrived days later. I paid in full ahead of time (their rules). I got there and they hadn't cut it off yet.Brought it home to realize it was not the one they said it was. Out $500+ as well as gas and a day of driving.

Smart and no bs, if you know what you want then you'll get it every time. With that being said, it's a salvage yard. Common sense says the parts are used from a wrecked car and are a cheaper option to get the repairs done, check them before installing them. Some of these bad reviews seem like they are from bitter people who made a mistake and want someone to blame.

I was sold an engine. It was never tested, nor was I ever told how many miles on it. They were suppose to drop it off where my son s car was to get the engine out in. I asked again, how many miles, was it tested. It was took to an employee s house and washed off. My son knew a guy that worked there. I was disappointed as the owner did not speak to me when I was originally in the office asking questions As I was paying for it. I felt his employee didn t really know. I was told o it s a great engine. I tried to take their word on it. It had a 90 day warranty. The shop that put the engine in didn t get it done super quick, when we got the car, the shop said it was not a good engine., but I called 6 days before the warranty was over and asked for the owner to call me as the engine was in terrible condition, leaking oil, hardly turned over. I wanted them to pull it abs give me my $900 back. I would never do business with again out $900 and never was able to speak to the owner.
