As two Canadians traveling across the states and living in their van, it was a serious nightmare when our brakes failed while going downhill in Death Valley. We got a tow here from there and we couldn t be more thankful that we did. Brian and his team are literally incredible. I cannot say enough good things about them. He made sure we were comfortable with our dog and he lent us the company customer car while they worked on our van.Here s the best part about this place though - our van is over 30 years old and the parts associated with the VIN# didn t fit our van this was something new for all of us but after a lot of research, Brian found the parts we needed and ordered them quickly. He was so dedicated to making sure we were good and sorted. We couldn t recommend this place enough - they truly care about you. Having our van breakdown wasn t part of our plan, but we are really happy it happened where it did so we could have it worked on here.

Paul and sons has Wonderful staff and outstanding customer service. They were quick with my brake inspection and provide helpful information. Bonus: they have some really sweet dogs that sometimes wander the office looking for a pat.

Professional shopClean; good communications from Nick the service writer. I m very happy with the job that River performed. He took his time and was careful.Only negative is that when I called I was 100 miles away, Nick didn t mention that there was a two (2) hour service charge to diagnose the problem and advise repairs; neither was that amount mentioned to me when I was at the counter, he just flipped the paper work around and said, sign here. In my opinion the inspection fee ($340) should be credited to the job if the work is agreed upon.At the end of the day I m satisfied with the work, my 2003 7.3 diesel is humming down the road and I would go back to this shop simply because they seem like professionals.There s better prices out there so theres some room to negotiate.

The receptionist was polite when I made the appointment and dropped my vehicle off. The person that was there was rude and cold when I picked my vehicle up. Charged $200 for a diagnosis and quoted me a little over $1600 to fix the problems. It didn t feel right. I asked about driving it somewhere further to get it fixed and that s when I think the person got upset.I Took it to 2 other mechanics and their diagnosis was very different. Ended up taking it somewhere else where they agreed with the other 2 mechanics and ended up charging me $300 plus parts, to fix the problem. Same as the other 2 mechanics had quoted me.Overall not a positive experience.

I can always count on Brian and his Team to be responsive, responsible & thorough. Any issues with the vehicle are clearly communicated and addressed promptly. This last time required roadside assistance, a service for which they are particularly prompt. Thank you!

What a refreshing transaction this turned out to be! They examined my faulty part, told me exactly what I needed to order and even let me know it might be less expensive if I ordered it myself and gave me that option. I said no thank you and told Brian that I wanted Paul & Son's to handle the whole transaction. He ordered my part and told me he would call me when it was in. A couple of days later Brian called me back and we set up an appointment. I took my truck in and asked if I needed to leave it or could I just wait until it was finished. He told me approximately one hour, so I waited. Within a half hour my truck was finished. The technician explained what was done and said all was fine. You talk about a smooth transaction! Excellent customer service and I was done for the day. My stereo was back to working great and at a fair price for what I had done to my truck. I recommend you take your car to Paul & Son's; the transaction couldn't have been any smoother. Thanks so much and I will tell my friends about the friendly services you provided.

This was my first time I took my car to Paul & sons,for oil change and tires rotation, their mechanics are very knowledgeable and checked the health of my car,I'm very pleased with the service they provided and I recommend it to anyone who need service on their car. Thanks

Traveling through Ridgecrest with overnight stay. Noticed my truck tire had TWO (nail & screw) items embedded into rear tire. Repair was completed quickly and we were able to continue our trip.

Took my truck in for a check engine light that I already read the codes for. They charged me $360 for a diagnostic and told me my turbo and actuator were bad and it would be $9600 for them to repair. I had some recalls to take care of so I took my truck to hunter dodge and asked them to check it out while fixing the recalls. They explained the simple process to check the turbo and actuator before doing it. They fixed everything and told me the turbo was fine and a proper diagnostic by Paul and sons would have easily proven that. The actuator was the culprit and was only a $600 fix. I hate that Paul and sons got the $360 diagnostic fee, just to lie to me and try to get almost 10k more. But at least I went to an honest dealership for a second opinion.

I had a great experience with Paul & son's I walked in without an appointment, and they were so accommodating. Got my car an oil change in under an hour, as well as full inspection of my car. They let me know what was needed as well what I can wait on. They were also able to give me a breakdown of the services they performed. I am a satisfied customer and will be returning.

My 2003 Ford F350 Super Duty 6.0L Getting off CA 14 ,on to the 178 @ Inyokern. The pickup Lost power and was smoking badly.Engine quit and coasted to a stop.Had it towed to Paul & Sons,their technicians diagnosed it very quickly Thanks so much for the excellent service !Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Unfortunately the diagnosis was not so good even after spending 646.00 not to mention 1600.00 for a rental vehicle and the ck engine light came on again at hwy 58 and 395 and did not go off ,and in fact it started to pump diesel fuel and smoking again from under the hood at the 91fwy and 241toll way or Santiago canyon rd and it turns out it was not a high pressure supply line it was a high CP3 FUEL PUMP FAILURE after spending another 3800.00 plus an A/C pump was around 4600.00 on top of what I spent already so in closing I would be very cautious with their diagnosis.S&S diesel made the repair after I had towed to Montebello. The temp repair they performed at paul and sons did get me down the hill so I thank them for that.

My Honda Accord Hybrid battery died and they had it in store. The pricing was reasonable and the people there were friendly and professional. I had a road trip where my water pump started to leak coolant quickly, which caused my engine to overheat. I was able to refill the coolant tank with water and drive the 25 minutes to Ridgecrest. Paul & Sons was able to get me on their schedule promptly. They confirmed a replacement of the water pump would fix my problem. They were able to source the pump and install it in a few hours to have me on my way. I recommend them highly for their professionalism, timeliness and comfortable waiting area.Service: Auto water leak repair

We broke down in Death Valley on the front half of a 3 week road trip. We needed a mechanic that could get us back on the road! We were towed 2 hours to Paul & Son s. We also called the local Ford dealership and they wouldn t see us until mid September. Paul & Son s got us right in and took care of us from start to finish! We got a rental car to continue our vacation while they were working on our truck. They also let us store our travel trailer there while they worked on our truck. Genesis at the front desk and all the mechanics were amazing and got us back on the road quickly! We are grateful for their great customer service and detailed mechanical work.Service: Transmission repair

My family and I had just moved to ridgecrest and our car was having some problems, I called Paul and sons and the next day they got it in and fixed it. Even got the oil changed while it was there. Fast, courteous and don't take advantage of you. I came in for an oil change and thought my cabin filter needed changing. They were very adamant about checking it first to be sure it needed to be replaced. After checking I not only was told it didn't need to be replaced but they even provided a picture via the front desk so I didn't even have to step back into the shop. Will definitely be back for future maintenance/needs that arise with my Jeep in the future. Thank you!

I got my starter replaced and 6 months ago and it went out again. They have warranty on parts and labor. They squeezed me in on their busy schedule and checked out the car for any reasons that could have made it go bad. They determined it was a faulty part and replaced it no charge no hassle. I thought I d have to jump though hoops to get it done but was nothing like that. They stand behind what they say and was extremely happy with the service. We needed work done on our 2017 GMC Acadia Denali. We have an extended warranty so we needed someone in town willing to do warranty work and that could get us in right away. Paul and Sons was willing to do both. They were so professional and friendly. They kept us informed on the status of our repair every step of the way and great about explaining things. Told us our rotors were warped and that's what our car issue was. Changed rotors and they were absolutely not warped and my vehicle is doing exactly what my husband showed the mechanic in their drive who now says it never happend. 200 bucks for absolutely nothing. Called this morning very friendly explaining my situation with driving a unsafe vehicle and was told they would call back in 10 to 15 min. It's been 4 and half hours I'm guessing I will not get a call. But when my car gets towed off the highway I will be calling again.

If I could give 10 stars I would! My husband and I were stranded with our home on wheels (travel trailer), pulled by a truck that was in limp mode as we were passing through town. We tour the country with a ministry that teaches the whole Bible and were in quite a pickle, especially because it was about 100 degrees outside, we had nowhere to hook up, and our three dogs were extremely hot. Not oy did they get us in immediately and resituate their parking lot to allow room for our 35 foot trailer, but every single employee we had interaction with went above and beyond to accommodate us. They quickly isolated the problem and even tried to help facilitate us getting the issue resolved at the dealership where we thought it would be under warranty. The kindness of Genesis, Brian, and his brother (whose name I never got) was remarkable!!!They even invited us to bring our dogs inside and gave them a big bowl of water.Genesis helped us find a tow truck for our trailer when our insurance company let us know they could not find a provider and we were on our own.In conclusion, we felt extremely confident in their ability to quickly and correctly assess our issue and went above and beyond in every way.We simply can't recommend them enough!!!!

I got a quote from another company and it was very high (over $1,000 and $550s was for service fee). so I came here to get another quote. I don t know much so I just came in asking for a bunch of service. The lady took time looking in the system to see if my car needs those service based on the manufacturer recommendations and I actually didn t need them. I just need the oil change and air filter change. The price were decent ($150) and the service fee was much cheaper than the other place (A &L tire). The atmosphere felt welcome too because they have a place for you to wait as well a play room for kid. As a woman I do feel at ease when coming here and really happy with the service where you don t feel cheated because you don t know anything about car maintenance. We are making this place our Togo shop when we need car maintenance.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change
