I'll let the photos and captions speak for themselves. The install was awful - incorrectly terminated amp to ground, including speakers not wired to their proper location (rear right being front left, etc.); Poorly mounted crossovers in the door with a pinched speaker wire underneath the woofer (easy to re-route) and several holes for a tweeter that mounts with three (two to secure the housing and one for the speaker wire) - except it looks more like swiss cheese. Frequency Audio is a terrible business for having audio equipment installed, avoid them and take your time and money to someone in Los Angeles or elsewhere that actually cares.

Dewey is the biggest thief I've ever met! I'm a Ridgecrest native so I like to keep business local but let me warn you: He stole my equipment that I purchased elsewhere and used the cheap stock equipment instead. He raised the price 5 times and charged me for both labor and for installation. He charged me $250 just to schedule it and then left my truck and $2000 worth of equipment in back of it, out in his lot in 110� temps, then all night where anyone could of stole it. He didn't touch it till next afternoon so why schedule? Thought the $250 woukd be applied towards install, Nope! $1000 and 3 days later the air conditioner was now broken as was my trailer lights. All wires were crossed and bundled together behind the emergency brake pedal so when pushed in, it chopped them all 90�. He broke a door speaker in 2 places so it never worked at all. He didn't even adjust the amp from factory settings and mounted it to carpet only. I went back to talk to him explaining that I'm a fair guy and could he fix it right? I told him I didn't want to leave a bad review and he said "go ahead and post it", then kicked me out of store. He always demanded cash to avoid paying taxes, charged me twice to pay him and his help for same work. Did I mention the stereo sounded ridiculously worse than the stock deck. I will now have to take it to Lancaster and buy good wires since he stole mine, and have entire system rewired correctly. Frequency Sucks and Dewey Blows!

Yesterday was quoted $160 for a head unit installed and wires ran for an amp. Dropped the truck of and left it over night. Got a call would you like an amp knob for $12 bucks, no problem. Next day go to pick up my truck and it won't start, not a problem, I figured it out. Go to to pay and kid says $430. Over double the quoted price. Manager says we can give you a 10% discount for your service. Bad business, if ask me. I would have been ok, with a higher price that was reasonable. I should have had them pull everything out of my truck.

The owner Dewey apparently can't hear high pitch noises so when his shoddy work is done wrong he blames things like your alternator when it was really his work. I paid him $725 to install my stereo and speakers which he said were blown and weren't. Then I had to go to Victorville to get it fixed. $150 later and a complete rewire of the stereo and it sounds amazing! Dewey in the end said..and I quote " I don't know what to tell you ". Oh and he basically said I was lying about it not doing that before I brought it to him. The entire thing turned out to be it bring wired wrong! Don't bring your vehicles here if you want it done right.

This place rocks! Owner Dewey (and installation technician Jackson) did an awesome job on my 2015 Smart Fortwo Passion last summer. The installation looked like it was from the manufacturer, Daimler AG (yes, Mercedes). These gentlemen selected the perfect large screen receiver/amplifier. It provided me with a large screen backup camera, CD player, DVD player, USB MP3 player, hands-free phone system, AM/FM radio, Satellite radio, and more. The rear sub-woofer and door speakers made a great 2.1 audio system. I am shocked to see a few negative reviews because these guys are five times better than the installers I had at B*st B*y for another vehicle! I recently sold my Smart for exactly what I purchased it for two years ago. The main reason is the great audio system from Frequency Audio.

Speakers installed correctly, however my door panel wasn t seated correctly, and three screws, and a seating ring for my door lock are missing. Poor execution in putting my car back together. Where are my missing parts?

My baby father went here 4 times to have a boss system and speakers and a amp put in and still not working very time I try to turn music up it makes a werid noise coming out my speakers and he charge my baby father a lot of money and still nothing working right at all. I thought when you do the job then you get paid not you do some of the non finish job and get paid for something that still not working at all

What a great experiance.He didn't try to selle what I didnt want and was accurate with time and price and got it done early. I recommend Frequency Audio to anyone.
