Awesome experience.. I booked online rental car Ford Fiesta.. I went Avis it took only 5 min on paper work. Car was fully automatic with advanced features.. like while driving it alarms or warn if some other vehicles are on your blind spot also shows front camera and backup Camara while you start your car from parking spot. Car was new with only 14000 miles on it and was giving 35.5 mpg. At return to LAX I have to put only 12 bucks to full the tank. While dropping at LAX airport at Avis location it also took only 5 min. And shuttle was there so I safely reached to airport in very well timing.

March4,2024 went to get my purse that was on the back seat of the van returned by me on march 3rd when I walked in told the guy that rented me the van I had left my purse in the van he said it's open i went and saw it wasn't in the van , told him he said we are not responsible for any thing lost or left in our vehicle I said I have been waiting from 7:30 waiting for you to open at 8am he said he unlocked the van at 7am to double check the milage and he didn't see a purse but he didn't look for anything just checked the milage Itold him I tried to get AAA to come and open the van but was told I would have to wait for when Avis opened the following day so that's why I was waiting at 7:30am my purse was on the back seat when my nephew locked the van.we looked for an emergency # to call I asked him to call the police he said you call them ,he was rude he had a worker come and move the van I asked him not to move it that I wanted the police to be called my phone was in my purse along with a Lot of money ,credit cards, driving license the guy said sorry but that don't know what to tell you I was hurt and went home ,called Ridgecrest police explained what happened went back to Avis rental to wait for the police , the officer arrived my sister came back with me she said your phone is in your purse we will track your phone, then you will find where your purse is the officer said yes let's do that the guy said let me go to the back and look again the officer said I'm going to go with you officer and the guy came back the officer was holding my purse .I want to complain to Avis rental car on this guy it took the police to be involved to retrieve my purse.Avis rental in Ridgecrest Ca 93555 at901 N. I can always depend on Avus to give me the best rentals and great customer service. They have a much higher standard than the competition if you ask me. I highly recommend them.

Hard to find if youre not looking in the right place... Should be its own separate establishment but other than that.... Its a great place to rent a vehicle.

The office is small and they only allow two people in at a time, but it is clean and the staff is friendly and professional. The rental cars are in great condition. Never had any problems renting a vehicle here.

Horrible experience, wrong car, non cooperation at extending the length of my rental, had to buy additional days with no credit when I returned it early, no night drop off available

Made a reservation for pickup at noon on Saturday. Showed up on time at noon to pick up my car but the office was closed. I acknowledge the posted hours are 8-12pm and should have checked beforehand but I don't understand why the reservation was accepted if they anticipated not being here. Really threw a wrench in my travel plans.

Usually no issues with Avis. I know I should have checked the posted hours. But honestly, closing at noon on Saturday when you have a lot of people traveling in and out of Ridgecrest is unacceptable. Heavily suggest increasing your hours until at least 2pm.

Family owned business, nicest cars in town by far, Jim and Karen will ensure you are happy with your rental, they also run the best car rental agency within 5,000 miles of Ridgecrest, I will only utilize Avis when coming into town, they will ensure you have what you need. Also they are awesome people!!

Always great customer service. Especially considering the large amount of business they have in a small town location. I don't always get the car I wanted but they try to accomodate.

When I was returning my rental in Las Vegas, I was an anxious stress mess bc I was running late and was possibly going to miss my flight. MAHOGINY, the Avis returns person, went so far above and beyond her job. I made my flight bc of her.Mahogany drove me to the airport right then, and when I began cleaning the misc trash out, she told me to leave it that she would take care of it and to just head to check in so I would make it.I highly recommend Avis and can not say enough wonderful things about Mahogany my returns agent, she was calm, professional, helpful and friendly. Thank you so much Mahogany, I made my flight!!Bethany LaBranche

Avis rental in Ridgecrest was a great choice and met my rental car needs. Cars were priced at a reasonable amount and were clean and mechanically sound. Highly recommend.

I prepaid to save on costs, and due to circumstances beyond my control, I had to return the vehicle just 2 days into a 2 week rental. I was devastated to find out there would be no refund for unused days because I prepaid. For a long time AVIS customer, this was HUGELY disappointing. If that is as good as you can treat a loyal customer, then I am done with AVIS and will definitely share the experience with everyone I know.

I arrange travel and send people through this Avis location for cars every week. Very rarely do I get any complaints and when there are issues, the staff here is excellent at making sure they are addressed immediately. I will not rent from any other place in Ridgecrest if I have the option of renting from them. The rental rates are a little higher than average, but the local customer service is fantastic. Avis corporate customer service, however, is NOT. If you have problems, make sure you go through the local office if you can!

Terrible service, will never rent from avis again. Got a car in Ridgecrest California. Found out the car has a chip in the windshield and a burn in the seat. Went to replace the car with something more reliable and less likely to damage and was treated rudely by older male attendant. Instructed to go to a bigger avis to switch out car. The next avis in Onatario Ca, was just as rude and refused to let us upgrade (even for an extra fee) by stating that it would mess with our rates nor did they apologize for the inconvenience. The new vehicle was brought around and we werent even given the courtesy of being informed that it was our vehicle. Avis, if you are reading this, your customer service is garbage and you need to reconsider your life choices.

Had a bad experience with Enterprise this morning and wasn't able to rent from them. Called Avis and had no issues getting a vehicle last minute. Will definitely be using Avis from now on!!!!!

Got a van from here, tire pressure sensor said tires were low right off the bat, windshield fluid was gone, seats had stains. Also I rented the van from may 2nd to the 12th and the registration expired on the 4th of May. Lucky for me though I didn't get pulled over. EDIT: 21 Jun 2019 they have really stepped up their game and i believe that the issue i previously mentioned was a one time thing that slipped through the cracks. Keep it up Avis!

Jim seriously hooks me up every time I rent. Really like this location. My only complaint is it s kind of a pain to have to pick up a car so far in advance due to their hours.

Got a truck but that was only vehicle available. The person working counter was excellent in customer service but I would use them again but holidays are bad in getting help for the car I needed. Hence 3 stars versus 5.
