Hunter was methodical and careful when loading my low car onto his flat bed. Super cool dude.They're AAA associated, so my insurance covered the tow.

Called them at 12 am received text driver was gonna be arriving at 1247 they rescheduled at 230 they said the driver was gonna arrive they got here at 250 and when the driver got down he was a super racist white guy they couldn't tow me without my I'd which I understood and just told them wished they had came when they arrived driver wanted to almost fight me super unprofessional service wouldn't recommend them

Danny did a fantastic job! He was professional, flexible, and communicated clearly! He changed my tire while i was at work on the clock! He left my flat and rim in the truck bed! I needed a long range tow and wasn t given a clear time on when my car would be towed, I had to call back quite a few times to clarify important details that were not mentioned to me over the phone. I also didn t receive call backs when I was told I would. Eventually the tow worked out - but was a stressful experience

Thank God for this tow company. Two of my coworkers and I were headed home from Bishop and our driver fell asleep at the wheel. We went off the road at 72 mph. By the time we stopped car was thrashed. Called 911 and this tow company was there in about 15 minutes, got there before the CHP did. We were very happy to see him. He pulled the car out of the hole we dug it into and took all of us to the shop/yard/office. The girls in the office were great. They let us sit in the nice cool office with them until our rides came. Very grateful. Thank you so much American Towing.

Broke down on 178 about 40 miles from kern. AAA dispatched this company to me, now I will mention my experience wasn t great due to my particular type of coverage. It did not however change the fact that this company was professional and handled their end of the deal. My coverage didn t cover my trailer so I had to pay additional (hub to hub) price of $400. Will definitely have to upgrade my AAA membership from premier to RV. Anyhow, thanks for your polite and professional service.

These people towed my bus for me and we're honest, on time and followed through 100 percent. Very pleased customer here! Kelly on the phone was fantastic. Can't remember the dudes name that actually towed the bus but he was good people too. Five stars all day.

My Tesla got a flat tire at the Coso Junction rest area on New Years Day. Al came by and towed us all the way to Bakersfield for the Tesla Service Center.Al is the best human being I ve ever encountered. Extremely knowledgeable about handling Teslas for tows. I had no questions as to how he was handling our Tesla Model Y. An absolute professional in working with us from start to the 2 hr drive to Bakersfield and finish.Although the flat tire was an unfortunate event to start 2023, Al s helpfulness and respectfulness made the whole situation a lot less stressful.

Our car was stuck in soft sand on what was supposed to be a hard surfaced dirt road in the Red Rock Canyon State Park on the hottest day of the year. As there was no phone signal we walked across two ridges to find a satellite signal. AAA kindly connected us to American Towing and we were told service would arrive between one to three hours. Driver, Steve, from American Towing (Ridgecrest?) called within the hour and arrived soon after. He assessed the situation carefully and was reluctant to add a tow hitch as our vehicle did not have the requisite eye bolt. With patience and professionalism he managed to get our car onto firmer surface without resorting to towing. He made sure we were safely on the asphalt of route 14 before leaving. Thank you for great service, for the bottles of cold water, and for a stellar performance from Steve of American Towing. With much appreciation from us both.

Great customer service. Very nice friendly people. My car got towed due under some not so nice circumstances where I paid someone to wash my car, they never moved it back, then they had it towed. They were very understanding of a my situation. Towing was a little expensive, but they worked with me and I was able to get my car back.

While stranded out in Trona and needing a 4 hour tow back to Orange County I was not having a good day at all. I was very pleased to see my tow truck arrive and I must say that their driver, Tim, was a wonderful and helpful person, very courteous and I enjoyed my 4+ hours with him during my long tow home. I have had a few tows in my day but I must say that this was the most pleasant experience and our friendly driver made all the difference. Thanks Tim!!!

The driver was able to contact me directly by cell & figure out I was on a dark road behind a park. Helpful hint about my battery too. I was feeling unsafe & they got me OUT OF THERE!

These people are truly incredible at what they do. My boyfriend and I took a trip to Trona Pinnacles on Easter weekend and got stuck right off the road in the mud. If you get stuck anywhere in this area, American Towing & Recovery is the company to call. The drivers are absolute experts, have lots of experience with Trona Pinnacles, and have gotten countless people out of some very tough situations. When we spoke to them on the phone, they asked a few questions and knew immediately where we were. They got to us quickly and pulled us out of our mud rut with ease. They were very kind and friendly, sharing with us some of their towing stories at the Pinnacles. They also were very generous with us regarding pricing, they charge by the hour and definitely charged less time than they spent to get us out. All on a holiday weekend amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

I overheated my brakes coming down the 190 towne pass into Death Valley and called AAA to get me a tow for my 35 foot motorhome. After being connected with American Towing I knew I was in good hands. After talking to Steve and another mechanic from the shop I had intended to take the rig to, they advised to take the rig for a drive to see how the brakes handle. Long story short, although I never had to use the tow, they were in contact with me the entire way as I crawled my way into Ridgecrest. They truly cares for me and my family s safety. This is something you can t put a dollar sign on. Thanks American towing.

Excellent service! Friendly and fast. First time a towing company had called me back to let me know a driver had been sent out! I had a lowered car and the driver took grear care to prevent any damage!

Thank God for Mike from station #1529 out of Lone Pine, and his ingenuity! We had two blow outs on our 5th wheel and one spare. Luckily we were close to Lone Pine which has Millers Tire shop. Mike and Rocio helped us use our one spare & limped with us to Millers - using a method I shall not mention It was almost 10pm but they were nice and not cranky. We camped there and the next day bought some tires at Millers. Guess who put them on for us? Yep, Mike. He also works at Millers. And he s a local volunteer search and rescue guy! Thanks Mike and thanks Miller Tires!
