Great service, very friendly, well-priced. Went to smog express for a last-minute smog check (totally my fault) he was courteous, fast, and honored the online coupon and then some. Very knowledgeable about the STAR program, educating me on what it is exactly, quite informative. I think I have found my new smog spot in Richmond!

The inspection process was quick and efficient, and I appreciated that they took the time to explain the results to me in detail. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, with complimentary coffee and snacks available. Overall, my experience at Smog Express was fantastic. Will come back!

My first time here and everything went well. The process was simple and didn t take long even if there were 2 cars ahead of me. I used their coupon without any issues. Customer service was was prompt and professional.

I called this place to inquire about the price of their smog check! Whoever answered the phone provided me a price and said it would be an additional $10.00 for a star then when I asked for clarification as to what he meant by a star, he became rude and got an attitude! How in the hell does the common person know what is meant by a star like next time elaborate and explain to the customer ahead of time and the customer wouldn t have a follow up question. Just because you re located in the Ghetto doesn t mean you don t need good customer service and telephone etiquette! This is why your business is in an Urban area because with an attitude like that, you wouldn t cut it somewhere else Mr. Attitude!

I've been bringing my truck here for years. Their staff is knowledgeable and perform the tests smoothly. Get in, get out, get on with your life.The rates are very reasonable. The wait time is extremely fair even if someone else is before you.Most of the time they have some snacks on the table, and they always have water.It's first come, first serve and no reservations.

1st one here at 8am...got in quickly. 1st come 1st served....I really liked the owner he is very kind, good manners and very knowledgeable. I trust him..so many smog centers but something made me come here...and my gut was on point! Thank you smog express! Will send all my friends , family and Next door folks here!---------Had to go back to get my uncle's car re-smogged...there was someone different there but still the same excellent service! Very good service. Even on a busy Friday afternoon only took 45 minutes with three cars in before me. I've been going there since 2005 all my cars and trucks. Look for the 20$ off coupon on Yelp.
