This is a local family run business And my whole family takes their cars there. They're also incredibly kind to my 84-year-old father who brings in his 10-year-old Ford Transit which he takes terrible care of and somehow they always bring it back to life and never shame him for not getting oil changes, tune ups or anything else he should be doing to keep it up.

No, I haven't used this business yet, but I went to scope it out for possible future use, because I have heard so much about it from my friend. I am writing a review based on his multiple experience with this shop. He told me the staff is very friendly and helpful which I saw for myself. They go out of their way to accommodate him and repair his truck and BMW issues in a timely manner without charging exorbitant prices. The shop is big, clean, and the staff are super nice, very efficient and personable. Should the need arise, I will not hesitate to take my Toyota to Magallanes AR. Thank you POJ, for introducing your favorite auto repair shop to me!

I immensely appreciate the extreme honesty that I experienced with everybody at Magallanes. Things were explained to me in a way that I could understand, recommendations were made but nobody tried to scare me into making immediate decisions, and the team was honest about parts of my vehicle that would be better serviced with a dealer. My F-150 needed serious work before a road trip. Clunking and clanging. Parts hanging off or missing. Bad lights on the dash galore.The fine folk took care of every single problem fast and at a good price. It drives like new now!! I will go to them again and highly recommend!!!

Every time they fixed it, in a few days I have the engine light on again with another problem, I don't know if is them trying to get more money or is my car. Please let me know if you had any issues with your car at this place. Thank you

Great prices (AAA members get a 10% discount), friendly & prompt service. But I would really give 4.5 stars because their communication about the extent and cost of repairs was not done prior to parts being ordered. I had to follow-up 3 times to make sure. Normally this would be a huge issue with me but again the prices are do reasonable!!! Really appreciate having a place I can take my Ford trucks and Nissan Altima know I'm going to be taken care of. Highly recommend giving these nice folks a try for your repair needs.

Great service! Very helpful & very nice crew. They got me in to accommodate my travel schedule and made sure an older truck I had just purchased was road ready. I'll definitely call Magallanes 1st for my mechanic needs.

I use to work here. Great shop. Great prices. Mechanics are excellent and extremely knowledgeable. You would have a tough time beating prices and quality of work. Office staff is also extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Family has been bringing cars here since I was a kid, that's 25+ years.

These guys fixed my van quickly and didn't over charge me. They called me to ok when they needed to add an extra cost to my repair bill. They were professional on the phone and in person. They left my van in clean condition and it runs great now. Definitely felt like this company knew what they were doing.

They are always ready to serve you. They write down the problem the way describe it to them. They thoroughly check it out, call you back with what's actually going on it, tell you what it's going to cost and get your permission before they start. Once there done, they call you to come and pick up your vehicle. And if you don't have a way home or to come and pick up your vehicle, they will come and get you. Now man; if that just dint make you feel like part of there family and blessed. And then on top of all of that, if anything goes wrong for any reason at any place that you might be at, they will get home and re repair car for free, if it had ANYTHING to do with their work!!!! God bless em. I think that their great and worth every dime. God bless. Amen and so be it!

Got my Tahoe Fixed and Safely Driving Again When Failed. I Compared at least 8 different shops And Magallanes Auto Repair Richmond California Was By Far The Best Deal. Some people say that they are pricey. They wouldn't be saying that if they actually comparison shopped. Magallanes Was The Least Expensive By Far. They Did What They Said, They Stand By It And I Stand By Them.

If you want to know what is wrong with your car Magallanes will figure it out! you pay for what you get. Great Service, Expert Advice, and Quick Response. He is a bit on the pricy side. He has never steered me wrong yet!

They are quick to recommend new parts without doing any real research. I probably would have got away with filling the transmission and replacing the pan and gasket after doing some online research. Do your Homework before you say Yes Folks !!! Google is your friend. This would have saved me lots of money. Now $2800 later I still have a car with a bad transmission. Local BMW certified repair facility diagnost the real problem. Granted I supplied the Trans so that was NOT there fault but I think with there experience and some Google Homework they should have highly recommended the pan and fill first before an actual Transmission Replacement.

They fixed and smog my car was I can get it registered it took 7 days but that's because my car is old, and they have a lot of customers

This shop talked me into putting another engine into my Honda Civic. Bad decision. The new engine got horrible gas mileage and the drive ability plunged. On top of that the starter went bad, to which the shop happily charged $500 and told me it could use another $150 in ignition work. $2100 dollars essentially down the drain. An honest shop would have just told me to sell the beloved junker and kept my newer car biz. Caveat Emptor.

Haf a misfire on my audi a6, towed the car there 1st thing in the morning with no appointment and they had me back on the road before end of day. Only complaint is they could keep us the client more informed on time frame ie. If its 4hrs dont say 2hrs

#loveeeeeee these guys! I was having transmission problems... They got my 97 Volkswagen golf up and running in a matter of hrs. The dealership couldn't even do that! Honest!! FAST!! Reliable!! Friendly!!

Horrible customer service tried to order a mechanical pre-purchase inspectionthe lady was very rude did not let me speak, did not let me and ask questions. I would never use this place in my life
