They are one of my favourite go to places when either of our cars have issues. My check engine light was on, without scheduling a appointment Luis was able to look at the car, do diagnostic tests, and even told what other things that also needed to be fixed all in the same day. My girlfriend and I are both customers and we refer other people to go too. Thanks again for the service!

I took my classic 1993 Winnebago Warrior to Luis Auto Repair to have the air conditioning repaired. When I picked it up a week later I was charged and paid for work done, however it was explained that more work needed to be done to make it work. While driving home I noticed marks in the upholstery of the passenger captain's chair. I turned around and went back to confront Luis the owner and he said; "I think maybe I know what happened. Maybe my dog got in and did the damage." Both captain's chairs and the rug were chewed on as well. The sunshade for the windshield was also chewed on. The interior was all original and in pristine condition when I brought it in. He let his dog use my RV for it's dog house! He offered to have it fixed by someone he knew. I explained to him that I would have the damage repaired by someone of my choosing and bring him the bill. He did agree to that.As you can see, the captain chairs have been repaired. I presented the owner Luis with an estimate of repairs and he wrote me a check on the spot. He apologized to me for not taking care of my property, while in his possession and explained that it was a mistake. Because of his honesty and attention to detail I have altered my original rating. I wish to thank Luis for his professionalism. ~DUG

Went to Luis Auto Repair a few weeks back for a simple oil change (hadn t done one in well over a year). Luis told me that I had water in my oil, so he drained old oil, then filled the engine with new oil. He flushed the whole system to get any remaining water and other debris out of the engine oil, before draining that oil too. Finally he once more filled my engine with new oil again, all while having clean/flushed system. On top of that he topped off my coolant amongst other things. Great Service, 5-Star Recommend!!

I noticed my car was leaking oil so I came here to get it fixed. Luis was extremely kind and helpful, he explained that my oil pan gasket needed to be replaced. When I picked my car up it was as good as new!

I took my car for a shuddering when I would drive at the velocity of 45 mph I called his business and talked to his son which told me that they had to replace the torque convertor which was over $3000 I had taken my car to them without the check engine light and the tracking light off when he returned my vehicle the next day both lights were on. I called and spoke to his son again and told him the problem he told me I have to check the wiring and the sensors. I left him the car for 4 hours never got a response until I called them. They returned my car and had the same issues I than spoke to his father Luis which told me that they were guessing that it was the alternator which he wanted me to pay an additional $120-180 dollars when I had paid him already for the work he had done. They took out my original battery which I never took him the car for that issue and he never showed me the parts that he replaced he told me that same day that the garbage had picked it up. I told him if we put the new alternator and we have the same issues what are we going to do. Luis senior told me that he will figure it out until the problem is fixed but I would have to pay for the parts. His warranty states that from the time I take him my vehicle it is covered for a year or 12,000 miles which neither has occurred and that his business will repair free of charger any defects in material and workmanship to the repairs stated at the invoice. From the period of the time I had taken my vehicle to him to fix it until now I have had the same issues nothing has been fixed or resolved.

Be careful, these people will take advantage of you. They quoted $200 to change an oil pan, but still claiming a severe oil leak. They stated attempting to fix the part, but insisting it being irreparable, therefore, the part needing to be changed. They kept the car for a week and charged $500 claiming it due to them having the car so long. They never changed the part, instead, claimed repairing the part they said being irreparable in the first place. They just sat on the car to push the price up. A total scam.

Luis is such a great guy! He helped me fix my car and had very good prices! Not to mention they are really good at what they do! What would normally take the dealership days to fix Luis fixed the problem within hours !

In the past 2 years, I've had Luis Auto repair work on my Ford F-150 a half-dozen times. I usually have diagnosed the issue prior to visiting the shop. Consequently, I know that they are always conscientous and honest. They tend to be more reasonably priced than the name brand shops for small stuff like brakes and suspension, too. Support your local businesses when you can.

I've never experienced such confidence in a mechanic. Didn't give me a high quote nor charged to inspect my vehicle. So many ppl come here & extremely busy. Luis communicates with great pleasure & troubleshoot with his skills through mental cognition. Flabbergasted by the work on all my vehicles.

I came to Luis because my sister spoke very high of his work in the past on her cars. I live out of town coming from Fairfield to have Luis look at my Toyota Highlander. I told him how my heater was not blowing out heat. I also let him know that I had previously had Toyota of Fairfield look at my car and another mechanic. I only wanted my heater core to be replaced or unclogged. Basically he misdiagnosed that my radiator was leaking, needed a coolant flush, thermostat, and gasket. After all this the problem was still not resolved. I was charged $440.00 and came back to get it looked at again. With more problems and guesses of what could be wrong. No true results I was very disappointed. I recommend you do research before you have anyone look at your car.

I come here first every time I am from the Oakland area. They know what they are doing and give you a fair price. They are respectful and they are always able to help with my car. I would recommend to anybody.

He's a rip off,half fix your car and charge you money for something that he didn't do.Pleace do not take your car there I had to file a claim against him. By the way the ABBB got involved and saw many violations and he was cited. They found that everything that he claimed that he did on my car wasn't done and he didn't have invoices for the work that he did that matched with mines because he threw them away because he didn't want to file taxes on All the money the he brings in. Any time he tells you you don't need a receipt and give him cash , well that's what he's doing.You always get a receipt because you never know when you have to go back to any shop on the work that they done on your car.(Just dropping a little Knowledge for Free) exspecially woman they think you don't anything about cars so they take advantage of that. But for some that do know they can still get over on you I'm speaking of myself because I trusted Luis and was going there for many years and at the same time I felt he was getting over on me , my family members and friends. Yes he do good work and at the same time he half do it or he'll have it to you have come back because they mest up something that he worked on. Oil change is nothing who can meet up oil change but when it comes to to big jobs like transmission, engine, catalytic when it time for smog be aware very aware.Please do get warranty and your invoice on everything I mean everything that he's doing. This is for people that want to be protected and cares about how & where they spend their money and get what they paid for, not pay for something that wasn't never done.

I was on vacation 2000 miles away from home when my jeep started making a metel rubbing on metel sound. I called luis auto and they said to bring our jeep in. Come to find out our brakes were bad and they fixed them within 2 hours at a low price. Plus they changed our oil. I would definitely recommend you go there to get repairs done.

Went to pick a car up had a wheel Bering changed and fluids top off and oil change .to drive back to santa ana ca .relly good place to get car fixed fast and serious about there work I recommend this place

When I went back to his shop to get a invoice of what he had worked on my car he refused to give it to me even though I had a right to receive one he also fixed something that I never aproved to when I confronted him he got very upset please don't go to Luis Auto Repair he's a very bad Mechanic and a thief he charged me $420.00 dollars to fix the problem of my car and my car is still not working!

It's expensive, their budget are high. And the guy (i dont know if he is the owner) left my car open on the street and instead he brought to me I had to cross the street. He should has more kidness.
