After a bad accident and dealing with a shady auto body man, bringing my car to Gustav was probably the best decision I could ve made. He s honest, reliable and easygoing. Gustav will get the job done! And even better, get it done right! As a busy mother I heavily rely on my vehicle and Gustav was amazing and empathized with my situation. Hands down the best experience I ve had so far getting work done on my vehicle. Trustworthy, understanding, and dedicated he truly loves what he does, Gustav, thank you!

Wow, what a wonderful asset in Point Richmond! Gustav runs a clean shop, is honest and upfront about pricing, hardworking, easy to communicate with, and goes the extra mile (sorry for the pun) to be sure you're taken care of. This is the only shop I'll be taking my car to moving forward!

Dream Garage, Dream Experience!Gustav totally saved the day. What I thought was an oil leak was actually an almost blown transmission but Gustav gave great advice and went out of his way to solve the problem quickly and without me needing to replace my transmission. And he didn t make me feel like a dumb girl in the process. 20 stars.

Excellent service at a reasonable price; Tras is very knowledgeable and has many times now, gone the extra mile to ensure that I was having the best running and safest car possible.He has earned my trust over the years doing work on my car and also kept me in the loop about the progress during the repair work. Gustav is the best mechanic I ve ever known, his integrity and sincere effort to help goes above and beyond. I ve had him do a few repairs on my car at this point and I m always left feeling really cared for and thankful that someone is as genuine and committed to making everything run smoothly. Car trouble is so stressful, I feel lucky to know a mechanic like this who does exceptional work without overcharging. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for great work for a fair price. Like many of us, I knew I should have a security cage installed plus rebar to protect my catalytic converter but I waited and it was stolen from my Prius 2014. The service was much faster than everywhere else I checked and the costs were more than fair. Gustav helped me navigate everything with the insurance company and was super easy to deal with. He also specializes in Subarus! Will never go anywhere else.

I have a mistrust for mechanics given past experiences, but Tras Gustav is honest and thorough. He is professional, quick, reassuring (but also realistic), and so kind. Very kind! I met with Him during the extremely stressful time when my catalytic converter has been stolen I felt well taken care of and not overcharged or misled (trust me, I've done lots of research on how much I should be paying mechanics). To make a long story short, I was helping a friend move to San Diego and during the road trip, his alternator went out. Our hotel just happened to be by Dream Garage and we were super lucky because the service was excellent and we were back on the road the next morning, only delaying us a few hours. I highly recommend using Dream Garage for your car repair needs! I found them through the Repair Pal network as a CarMax partner (where I purchased my Jeep). Gustav and team really go above and beyond providing a level of service that is rarely seen in the industry.They took the time to explain the issues to me, took time to answer any and all questions I had, and were transparent through the entire process. They were able to diagnose the issues with my Jeep and even communicated with the warranty company to get the vast majority of the repair cost covered for me.While driving to their shop (prior to the repairs being made), I got about halfway there before my Jeep started overheating severely and I had to pull to the side of the road. Gustav literally drove to me, grabbed my keys, and went to pick up the Jeep after it had cooled off and took it to the shop for me...just so I could get to work on time. That scenario has made me a customer for life.Great team. Fantastic communication (even available via text). Fair pricing. Always transparent. In an industry with a stigma of customers being overcharged and shops recommending unnecessary repairs, Dream Garage is a shop that you can trust. They're really doing things the right way. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

My second time with Tras and he is always very responsive and fast with the work itself. He changed my brakes and it took him a couple of hours at most. Very helpful with navigating me to the places in the neighborhood where I can run errands while he is working on my car. He had more suggestions for me to check out with my car in the future but since I had to pace my financial expenses, he helped me direct me what is the most necessary at given time. Thank you!

We had a good experience here. Tras was knowledgeable and was honest and upfront about pricing. Our maintenance was done quickly and he gave us some advice on future maintenance as well. Amazing quality of business! Gustav diagnosed my car in front of me, explaining the issue, and replaced the part in less than two hours for a fair price. I moved to the area recently and have been searching for a reliable, trustworthy, cost-effective mechanic - my search is over! Highly recommend Dream Garage.

Dream garage has become my go to mechanic. Every time I bring my car here I m struck by the fact that my experience is completely unlike the typical garage vibe: Gustav is very knowledgeable about all vehicles, but he is in no way condescending or brusque... also he sometimes rides his bike to work which is truly a virtue as far as I m concerned.

Gustav is super knowledgeable, patient and fair. He will always give you the straight scoop on what s going on with your car and work to resolve the issue(s) as quickly as possible. He ll never try to oversell you, but he will let you know if there s anything proactive you can do to keep your car in the best shape possible. He s the real deal.

I am definitely becoming a regular at this shop! Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. They provided multiple part options for my Audi A7 brake and rotor change. I appreciate their communication throughout the ordeal and their availability. Highly recommend this spot!

I highly recommend Dream Garage, Tras and his team. They are very knowledgeable and so polite. Basically Tras saved my old 2006 Prius from being totaled. I needed a new catalytic converter and the dealership was going to charge me more for the parts than the car was worth. Tras tracked down the part for me on the internet, replaced it and tuned up my car. It runs better than it did before!

I had a bit of work done on my 2003 Hyundai earlier this year by Dream Garage; tires, tune up, oil, and alternator when my car wasn t starting. Not only did DG fix my car up for reliable startup and running, it has made it across the country (NY!) and it is still faithfully starting and running... like a dream. DG also takes care of my work s cars too and we return for the excellent care, service, and expertise they offer. Thank you!!!
