My husband's F150 truck was given special attention. Cruz Automotive Repair listened to my husband, explained the process, and devised a solution together. So our experience was less stressful and very much appreciated. We found this auto shop through a referral from a friend.

The folks at Cruze auto repair in Richmond couldn t have been more helpful. They were all friendly and quickly diagnosed and repaired my car issues. They are very knowledgeable about problems with my vehicle, a VW GTI. I happily recommend them.

This is my second time getting work done at Cruz Auto. They are very professional at Cruz Auto. They completed the work in a timely manner and I am very pleased with the great job they did. I had brakes replaced, a tune up, and transmission fluid change.

Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They kept me updated while my car was being repaired and didn't pressure me to do additional work, only offered some suggestions for future work to consider. Thanks for offering a cold drink on a very hot day!

Thank you Thank you Thank you!!! I came into Cruz auto repair to have my Mini Countryman repaired due to check engine light on! These mechanics really took care and time with my vehicle, the gentleman named Clark in the office explained to me how GDI engines work and gave me helpful reading information also. Prices are reasonable and service is superb!!

These guys are good reliable people. They changed my timing belt, and the ting was off. No fuss though, they got right in there and changed it again promptly, at no extra charge.Ive had no issues with the belt yet, its been 2 years.Then my fuel pump went out, amd they got one in there within 24 hours.You can talk to them about parts. They can find high end parts if you prefer.Will go back for future needs.+if you are in the area you can push a car there without towtruck, since it is flat.

Cruz Auto Repair is my new shop. Had some bad repair done on my mustang at another shop. And Cruz and his crew of mechanics got my car back right. It's a bit of a project car still not done. But from here on out Cruz Auto Repair has got my business. Best shop in Richmond! Gave me an honest quote, were ready for me at my appointment time, and fixed my car within a couple of hours. They even gave me a Coca~Cola on my way out. The work feels solid and I haven t been experiencing anymore issues. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

I usually would never say this, but I loved this mechanic! I had a check engine light on and knew I would need to get this fixed before a smog test. I always dread going to a mechanic because as a woman I never know if I'm being taken advantage of. Not only do they have a woman who works there, but they use this amazing photograph system that tells you exactly right then and there what's going on. I was very impressed and it gave me time to look at my options and feel good about what they're showing me. The prices were about standard for what most places would charge. They were informative and helpful and I'm so grateful for Cruz auto repair!

Hi was so happy I had my car fixed at this shop. I had a major repair job done on my air conditioner. It now works so well. Augustin, the owner really cares about pleasing the customer, and amazingly follows up voluntarily with phone calls to check in to see if everything is going well with the repairs. I have never seen this in any place I have had my car repaired. He is very professional, honest. I felt very comfortable and confident that everything was going to be done right. They take great pride in their business and aim to please the customer. I am so happy I found this place

This review is way overdue - I have been taking my car to Cruz Auto for a few years, and I highly recommend them! I was impressed from the first time I went there - they seemed honest, knowledgeable, & I appreciated receiving the diagnostic printout of what was going on with my car. I seriously hate being without my car, so I only bring it in when I absolutely have to - my check engine light had been on for like 3 months this time, I finally brought it in to Cruz on a Tuesday, they diagnosed the issue, fixed it, and I was driving my car home Thursday afternoon. Very attentive staff. Came here after having problems with my vehicle, they gave a full diagnostic and asked before proceding with anything. Had a great experience,I do recommend you make an appointment first.

Cruz Auto Repair is punctual and honest. They give a full thorough inspection of your vehicle and tell you up front what is crucial to fix or minor. I came across Cruz Auto on Yelp and decided to request an appt time for the next morning. They were able to fit me in and I brought my car first thing when they opened. I needed a leak diagnosed, and what s really cool about Cruz Auto is that they send you a link with pics and info on each thing they checked. First time I ve seen that and it just gives that extra peace of mind. They are definitely with the times. They were able to diagnose a couple problems and fix the major ones. I have found my mechanic. I will definitely be back to fix the other problems. They are very polite and professional and it s a great setting overallService: General repairs & maintenance

Agustin is very nice and super professional. He was patient with me and answered all of my questions and addressed all my concerns. He is very transparent and made me feel at ease. I love that he gave me an electronic copy of the initial inspection that he did on my car so that I can be aware of everything that may need to be fixed. So far I ve gotten my spark plugs replaced along with my brakes and side view mirror. My car is doing great and I m gladly making Cruz Auto Repair my go to mechanic from now on. :) :)

They keep me updated on the vehicle's progress and send me pics of all the vehicle's problems and send me fast estimates very professional shop a bit pricey but guaranteed work

So professional and quick. I needed my coolant container repaired (idk whats that called) but they did it super fast and showed me pics of everything they saw concerning, even providing a detailed inspection of my car. I really appreciated the work they did and im glad to be on the road again without my car overheating. I recommend coming here!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I took an older Prius recently acquired, with ac not working to Cruz auto.... the techs were knowledgeable and honest!! They attempted to test the ac and when they could get no pressure, they let me know, called around to find a shop to help and didn't charge me, since they couldn't fix the issue. I absolutely love small business for exactly these reasons!! You would never find the same courtesy and care at a corporate dealership or auto repair!! Thank you Cruz Auto!!!

These guys were fantastic!! We broke down on the Richmond Bridge at 1:30pm. We called the local Dodge dealer, who couldn t help us but referred us to Cruz Auto. They helped us find a tow truck and got us into there shop within an hour and a half. Once there, they speedily assessed the situation and had the parts in 15 minutes. The mechanic went right to work and completed the repairs and we were in the road by 5:30. The next morning when we woke up my wife and I looked at each other and laughed about it, it seemed like a dream. Nobody breaks down and expects to be treated with such caring and concern. There are angles everywhere and I suspect some even have grease on their fingers. Thank you so much for your help. Highest recommendations to the folks at Cruz Automotive.Service: Engine repair

The guys are amazing. I was buying a beautiful used car and they were already closing. They waited for us and made a super thorough inspection in an hour or so. The report was very solid, focused, with pics and recommendations. They commented on every point and gave me enough assurance and clarity to buy the car.

I am so delighted to find an auto repair facility that's honest and flexible. Cruz Auto cut my last estimate in half when further inspection found the problem to be less severe. How often does that happen? Augustin is honest and eager to work with a customer to provide good value and service. He's our mechanic now!

These guys really seem to have a lot of integrity and care about the results of their work (and hence their customers). Great communication and customer service.The only reason I didn t give them 5 stars is because my steering wheel wobble is still present and I m still not sure of my truck is sitting level (2/3 of my presenting complaints). But they did machine my break rotors and braking is smooth as new now!I recommend these guys for most common needs!

I don't trust any mechanics but when my car was turning off on me with a check engine light after I did an oil change at a shop in San Francisco, I did not want to cross the bridge anymore with having this issue. My friend recommended me this shop and it's so close to where I live at. I called and the next morning, I went to get a diagnostic. They found out what was wrong with my car, repaired it, and worked with my insurance. Everything went smooth that I went again to get the other parts that needed to be repaired. They are very professional, knowledgeable, nice and helpful. Agustin and Diego are the best! I can say now that I found a mechanic for lifetime :)Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Great first time experience at this shop. Took my car in for a 70k maintenance. Agustin kept me in the loop of my cars status with texts and calls. Very friendly. His follow up after the repairs were made is something other shops have never done. I was coming from out of state to buy a vehicle in the area, I needed a mechanic to look over the vehicle. I called Cruz last minute, they were able to go pick up the truck and did a thorough inspection. Documenting with photos and written description issues the truck had that the seller wasn't honest about.They saved me a lot of time and money. And were very easy to work with.

Brought my 2001 Dodge Ram tonka truck in a few years ago for block rebuild. Went great, been hauling and towing like a charm. Just had a water pump go out and they were able to replace along with transmission seal/gaskets and replace wheel bearings all together. There communicating is great with new inspection process as you can see and understand all needed work first hand with app. Running smooth as can be.
