Had a flat tire this morning - AAA filled it with air and sent me to the tire shop for what they believed was a quick repair. Headed to Costco since my tires are under warranty there - had to "walk in" as appointments are only available 3+ weeks out, which isn't a viable option for repairs. Waited 7 hours before giving up and asking for my keys back - the woman told me my car was next, but it would be at least another hour. I appreciate they're busy, but they need a better approach for quick repairs that the company is responsible for - it seems virtually impossible to get a warranty repair. I went to another tire store on the way home and had a repair in 15 minutes.

. manager was so unprofessional, and he needed to be educated about running a business, especially when running a busy tire sho ike COSTCO. I have an appointment at 10 a.m, so when I get there, I read the sign that show on the picture attched, so automatically i need to make a line where it says members with appointments only. I was the only one in that line, and maybe 6 people on the walking line. Helped three of the 6 peoples and then I asked him: Is there anyone who can help me, or you guys have only one line. he said that there is only one line, sir.I got so upset and i did not say anything. when it was my turn, I asked Daniel: Why do you guys have 2 lines, and you are working only with one line, and you saw standing there and waiting and yiu did not say anything about. so I told him that you should block one line and have only one, so customers won't get confused. His response was even shocking , and he said: I AM NOT GOUNG TO DISCUSS THIS WHITH YOU.SO I asked him if I could speak with the manager, and he said: I AM THE MANAGER .....

I called yesterday for a possible walk-in opportunity, and they asked me to come by tomorrow. I purchased the tires from them, and they even checked the order number and confirmed that they have my tires. However, after waiting for an hour today to get my tires replaced, the staff member informed me that tire replacements can only be done by appointment. Now, I have to wait more than two weeks, not to mention the time today that I've already wasted waiting. They are extremely unprofessional and do not even remember what they said yesterday.

I consider a three-star rating as average. While they perform commendable work, there are a few notable aspects that require attention. Firstly, due to their attractive deals and excellent service, securing a convenient appointment time that aligns with my schedule can be challenging. On average, scheduling an appointment with them typically necessitates approximately one week's advance notice in most cases.It appears that there is no designated staff member stationed at the front desk to assist customers. The individual who provides assistance is frequently seen moving back and forth into the service bay. This results in extended wait times and the formation of queues for customers seeking service and answers to their queries.Furthermore, I am dissatisfied with the absence of a comfortable waiting area for customers awaiting their vehicle's servicing. Waiting outside in varying weather conditions or within the food court area, with passing Costco shoppers, is less than ideal. It would greatly enhance the customer experience if they were to construct a supplementary waiting area adjacent to the existing one, particularly beneficial for customers enduring longer wait times during vehicle servicing.

Because I don't have an appointment for my flat (who would have figured?), it may be all day to wait for a turn in line after other walk-ins.Really?Where is management and customer service?He said, "No guarantee it can be fixed today," but they close in 5 hours.Really, management?

I use Costco Tire because it's a good value for the money and it's all they do, so I trust that their experience makes them reliable. However, they're not friendly at all and it's not a very pleasant experience.Today I had a 9 a.m. appointment for a tire rotation. I arrived on time and was their first customer. I was told to go and get my mileage myself - something they used to do for us. Okay, fine. I went and got the mileage and came back and was given my paperwork. When I asked how long it would be, I was told an hour to an hour and a half and they would call me when the car was ready.! Up to 90 minutes to rotate tires? Okay, fine.I went and did some shopping and at about 10 a.m., as I was checking out, I was called about an issue with the TPMS sensor. They told me that to replace all four of the valve stem sensors would be $260. I asked whether it was necessary to replace them. I was told that my car was old and no longer under warranty. Yes, I know the age of my car. It's a 2009 with less than 100k miles. Do you have a recommendation? Do I need to have these in place? I could not get a straight answer so I elected to not replace them and I will consult a mechanic when I take the car in for full service at 100k. He did not say the car was ready and I did not ask.I went and waited at the food court because I was told that I would be called when the car was ready. 10:30 still no call, so at 10:40 I went and looked for myself and my car was still in the very first bay. So I asked when it would be ready. And the person that I asked said that he was busy finishing something and he would get back to me. He was abrupt and unfriendly - I guess I was bothering him. Next thing I know they tell me there is my car wasn't in the bay, - and my car had been moved I could see that. So then I said well, then it must be sitting outside and no one has called me. He then handed me my paperwork and my keys. And I looked at the time the car was finished: done at 10:15. They never called me. No explanation, no apology - just attitude.I can appreciate that they get busy, but customer service is also part of their job and both people that I dealt with today were very abrupt. I was not rude, I say "please", "excuse me", and "thank you". I just don't know why they have to be so testy. And if they hate working there, why don't they go somewhere else? It makes the whole experience less than.So where I would probably have given them four or five stars I will give them three - which is "ok" - it really wasn't okay, but they did the job and because they did the job they'll get 3 stars.

Soooo slooooow!If you go to buy, fix or rotate your tires... be armed of patient or have a ride ready, they took up to 4 or 5 hrs to perform your job. Otherwise all good!

Absolutely terrible service if you don t have an appointment. I came here with a nail in my tire and didn t have an appointment (because of course, I didn t plan to have a nail, and I thought this was an easy fix). Was in line at 9am sharp, waited almost 30 mins to give them the keys (because appointments cut the line, and they only have 1 person working the counter). Wandered around the area (which is pretty nice) for FOUR hours, and I get told there are still 2 walk-ins ahead of me. They said there was no ETA and may not be serviced till close. So I picked up the keys and left. I thought this would be a quick job and they were suggesting it could take 10 hours. Called AAA and they came and patched it, without taking the tire off and all within 30mins (wish I had known how good AAA was). Costco probably could ve inspected and fixed my tire in the parking lot, but since I didn t have an appointment they just let me wait and wait. Why even take me as a walk-in then? Why wouldn t you have some time built in for walkin service for people with emergency tire issues?Part of getting the tires installed at Costco was the piece of mind with the warranty and knowing you had a free patch up if ever needed little did I know you d still need an appointment and without one you d be better off literally anywhere else. Horrific customer service. Costco clearly doesn t hold the auto department to the same service standards as the rest of the store, but this location is the worst I d seen.

Horrible service. I was told that making an appointment takes 2 days. I ordered the tires and when they arrived I was told I have to wait almost 2 weeks for the first available appointment. now i can't use the car for two weeks. Never expected such poor service from Costco.

They have an excellent selection of items both vegan and non-vegan appetites. The Richmond location reflects team spirit and dedication to there warehouse from the front end services, tire center, food court, and bathrooms. Thank you for an overall pleasant shopping experience!

Even with an appointment, this will take three hours plus to get your car in and out. Listen to the reviews that state this, they are not lying.Pricing is not actually cheaper than buying from tirerack.com and taking them to your local shop. Even if it was, the time you save is worth it.I personally brought my car here because of the better service I thought I d get from Costco. But next time will just go another route.

Steer clear if you can. Some of the reps are really nice, some are terrible. Wait in line for up to 45 minutes even with an appointment, then watch as your vehicle sits for hours. This is the third time I've come in a week to get my tire switched out after sidewall damage and even with an appointment I'm watching walk ups get priority in the garage, my vehicle hasn't been touched in about an hour just propped with wheels off. Unless your time has zero value, spare yourself.

They were not able to remove my tires so canceled my whole order. I was able to get new tires at a lower price with no removal issues the very next day at a local shop. I will never try buying Costco tires again.

Listen to everyone who says it takes forever. You're going here because it's the cheapest place, not because it's actually going to be efficient. My 11:15 am appointment which I arrived at 11 for, with tires I bought on the Costco website in advance already there and set aside, didn't have my car in the garage until almost 1:15 pm and then it was another 45 minutes until they called to say it was ready. If you don't mind waiting 3+ hours for your car go here, but if you don't care about saving money go anywhere else. Also, take a picture of your odometer when you park and the cone they give you to put in top of the car - they won't let you leave your car without an exact mileage.

Good service for tires bought online with an appointment for placing tires on a weekday. They took my keys on time, and I was out in under under two hours. I think it's best to have an appointment because otherwise they can't really say how fast they will be done because they get so busy.

The staff is very knowledgeable. We came to this Costco after our Honda showed a TPMS warning message on the dashboard. They explained to us it was an erroneous reading and the sensor in the tire might be running low on the battery after doing some testing with a reader. We didn't have to pay anything.

The staff are great!.The Tire Center policies, not so much...Why would you state that "walk-in's are welcome" on your website, and then mandate appointments when you try to make that happen?That's just nonsensical. Hypocritical. Frustrating.I wasted an hour out of my weekend morning, to walk away with just an appointment.My order was sitting right there!

Ok price, but I've had to come 3 times to get my tires on. It's my only car so I have to stay while they install and I have to wait up to 4 hours to get them on. No appointment times until late October. I'd rather spend a bit more on tires elsewhere and have reliable installation times.

Got a good deal on tires, but I had to wait in line for an hour at the tire sales desk then wait 4 more hours to get my tires installed. They don't have a waiting room either so I waited in my car. It's a terrible and slow system. They only take appointments from 12-3pm and were booked out a month.

Bought set of tires from them with warranty that includes free repair, you go to fix a flat tire they request an appointment ?? Seems like for them having a flat tire it s not an emergency.very very bed attitude as well.Costco may look for that tire center to make it professional.

Past experiences with this tire shop have been pretty poor, and i've left pretty salty, but this last time, i gotta say that they really upped their game. There's still a little bit of a wait time - but know that they really take the time to make sure the customer gets what they want and make sure to let the customers know what will work best. The customer service is on point. Also, they might take a little longer than you expect to get your work done, but it's mostly because they get bum-rushed right at the beginning of the day and it never slows down in there - they will give you an accurate estimated time, however, which will allow you to decide to leave and come back or just hang out perusing the aisles of Costco or hanging out at the cafe.

Great experience today. I made an appointment on Friday for Sunday at eleven am. I arrived at 10:50 and forty five minutes later a full set of tires installed and ready to go. Super efficient and friendly.

Good service, busy during the day but they open extra early. Tires that aren't in stock get ordered and usually show up in 1 or 2 days. Communication is so-so between front and back of house, but the customer service is usually helpful and thorough.

Really good prices. Long wait so be prepared to have something else to do while waiting. I ve bought 2 sets of tires from here and I ll most likely get more tires from here when I need new ones.Update: They offer appointments now :)

12/15/19 Review Update:Came here at 8:45 a.m. because the opening time at Tire Center changed it to 9 a.m., already came by early the previous day but was not.opened at 7 a.m. like before. They were already 7 people stood in front of me! The technician kept saying if customer had appointments. There was no sign on the door.I ended making an appointment for next Thursday. When I mentioned the appointment site, the technician said he did not know since he never used it. When mentioned no appointment sign on the window, he said the Costco Corp. did not allow it, "took it down the first date!"May 29, 2019 Review:Also need to get there early for tire rotation! I got there at 6:15 a.m. and be the first person waiting in line for the tire department open at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday! For my surprise, last rotation invoice mentioned that on the second page that was my last tire rotation. I need to get the new 4 tires on the spot. Luckily, the model I needed was in stock. I got back my vehicle three hours later.

Good prices, service. Takes a long time (2.5 hours in my case to mount 2 tires) unless you are one of the first customers. I was customer #12 arriving about 8:10am on a Saturday

Frustrating. Going to make my third trip. A little direction from staff could have saved me, and obviously lots of other people, a lot time. Buy tired ahead of time. Get appointment. Get there early. Updated: finally got it done after getting there an hour before opening. They take the first six walk-ins. I have to give it to the staff for staying professional and calm under the gun.

Don't even bother. They will not tell you that you need an appointment. Walk in is a waste of time. Got turn away twice. I will be canceling my tire order and will be doing business elsewhere.

Very helpful crew. Knowledgeable, patient and courteous. They advise on what would be the best option depending on best performance for your vehicle. Been getting my tires here for years now. I wouldn't go elsewhere
