We haven t had a mechanic in several years, and I am glad we were recommended here. The staff is extremely professional, very understanding of the customers needs and their price is reasonable due to their specialized KNOWLEDGE. Excellent services!! Came here to get my axel replaced they were able to fix it so quick and for such a great price. Tammy and Chuck are soooo incredibly nice. I been having issues with my keys and when i picked up my car Chuck offered to look into the key problem for me, I didn t even ask or bring it up! He stayed after closing time to help look into the issue, sooo kind. I will be a regular here now!

Thank you Chuck for your help. Needed a water pump for an F150 Chuck took care of me in 3 days and in this time it is hard to find parts but he was able to. He even took me behind to see what parts were replaced and showed me before he even brought it down the lift. Keep up the great work. We brought our Mazda CX-5 in for an AC check, just a week after our Ford Fusion which needed numerous hose replacements. We ve been using A&G for a handful of years now for the Fusion, while the Mazda was serviced by the dealer until the warranty just recently expired. My Fusion was at A&G for about a week which was a little bit longer than expected. But I realized that parts and shipping can have delays due to all the supply chain issues going on right now. And it helped in finding cheaper parts as they were able to shop around, which lowered my charge from the original quote.So, a week later, we decided to bring our Mazda in, basically without any appointment. The dealer wanted an insane amount of money to refresh the AC. But A&G checked and repaired our AC issue and got it in and out in the same day. I think they did it so quick as a quiet courtesy for the delay with the Fusion, which, in my opinion, shows great customer service.We will continue using A&G for all our auto repairs, as well as recommend them to our friends or family. Chuck is a cool, up front guy and the two women who handle the administrative work and the customers, Amber and Tammy, are very friendly and courteous.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement, Auto A/C recharge, Vehicle safety inspection

Chuck and team are straightforward and trustworthy. They were able to fix a problem with my car within hours that other garages said would take 2 weeks. Plus, Tammy is a joy.

This guy is horrible, never gives a real answer always changes his story and has very obvious addiction problems. hard to believe he is still allowed to be in business with all the law suits he has had. almost every day his shop opens an hour late, listen to the other reviews of this guy he will rip you off and lie to your face and your car will come back in worse shape than it came in. The staff is unprofessional and this is not a place of knowledgeable technicians be aware.

Chuck was great and he's a wealth of knowledge. AG was highly recommended by my local shop for a transmission service on my Ram 3500. He walked me through the things he looks for and the steps that he takes to do the job right. If you're in this area use these guys. Their quote is the price of anything comes up they are quick to reach out explain situation and price change before moving forward. Excellent service and fair pricing. I recommend this place . They will not try sell you anything that does not need to be repaired. I recommend this place to car novice too expert. All around Great job. This place is fantastic. I'd just purchased a used car, that seemed to be in good condition. But after having the car for only 6 days, I was driving on 118, & suddenly the muffler/exhaust came loose & started dragging underneath the car!I know very little about cars. (I couldn't even name the part that had fallen out until someone else told me!) Im also a rather petite female, so I'm very aware of what an easy target I apear to be, whenever I walk into a repair shop. Its easy to bs or convince someone like me, who's relatively ignorant about the internal workings of their vehicle, to pay for unnecessary or over priced parts, repairs, etc. So it's always a headache whenever I've had to bring a car in for repairs.However, this time was surprisingly different. I called around to several mechanics & repair shops, & AG Automotive was not only the first to get back to me, but they were very friendly, & able to fit me in same day. When I got to the shop, Tammy greeted me right away, & instantly made me feel comfortable. She got all of my info, & showed me where I could hang out & wait, until the mechanic was able to look at my car. (They have a nice, air conditioned waiting room, with TV, water, etc.)After they lifted my car, Chuck, the mechanic, came & asked me to come look underneath. He explained everything to me in terms that even I could understand. He said the car had likely been in a place with saltwater or snow, as the underside of car was very rusted. Because of how rusted the exhaust was, it had become almost brittle in the area that broke. And since the hanger/bracket, that usually sits underneath the area to hold things in place, was missing, when it broke, it fell & was being dragged underneath the car.Chuck gave me 2 options. He told me I could replace it, or for a lower price, he could weld it back in place & create/attach a new hanger, that would be a temporary fix, but should last long enough, until I am able to do the replacement. I ended up going with the 2nd option for now. I thought I'd probably have to leave the car overnight, as it was late afternoon by then. But Chuck said if was willing to wait, he may be able to get it done that evening.So I decided to stick around, & I am so happy I did, because he was able to get it done that day. (He even stayed late, until almost 10:00p.m. to finish it for me!)The entire experience was wonderful. From the time I arrived there, until the time I drove away, I was made to feel welcome & comfortable. Every person I interacted with here, was polite, helpful & respectful, & seemed genuinely sympathetic to my situation. They were fast, their pricing was very reasonable, & I never once felt like they were trying to take advantage or capitalize on the fact that i know so little about cars. It was awesome.Ive always wanted a regular mechanic, who I can trust, & bring my car to when things like this happen. And I believe I have found that in Chuck. I hope to replace the exhaust in the next couple weeks, & I will most definitely be returning to AG Automotive to have the work done!(**Note: For anyone who is a dog lover, like myself, there was also a super handsome, very sweet German Shepard named Lobos there. Who kept me company in the waiting room, while they took care of my car! )Service: Exhaust

I found this AG Automotive through yelp. So I decided to give it a try. I sent in one of our inventory (2006 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor) in for steering wheel stiffness diagnostic. Owner Chuck was able to identify the problem in the first place. His crews are very professional (more professional I thought I was at a car dealership service department). Great experience throughout. Most importantly, got the job done right. They know what they re talking about. Certainly not some BS mom & pop shop just there for your money (if they fixed it right the first time). Price is fair. If you ever have problem with the repairs they done, there s always a warranty to back you up. Thank you chuck. I will be back at your shop for our other vehicle recondition. Chuck and his crew are all nice, honest, reliable people. They do great work, fast, at an affordable price. My husband and I know we can always rely on them with both our vehicles, including being certified to work through our extended warranties. They will also be in a great new location down the street soon!

What would have been my first time at this car shop, didn t even happen. I called on a Tuesday to have just an oil change done, the woman on the phone set me up with an appointment and told me to come in between 8 and 8:30 on Thursday. Thursday comes I get to the shop at 8 and notice the garage doors are shut and cars haven t been touched since at least the night before. I could tell no one was there. I m calling and can hear the phone ringing but no one there to answer it. I wait for a few minutes before calling again and still no one outside or answering the phone. I end up leaving and they still to this day and time I am writing this review, they STILL HAVE NOT CALLED BACK. Horrible service.

Tammy and amber were very helpful and nice, I think they both took an hour each to explain stuff to me. Not the cheapest shop ,but it s worth it in LA, I ll never take my car to a cheap shop to be lied to again. My regular mechanic has been really busy lately, and My daughter brings her Prius to A.G. Automotive, so I decided to try them out, and I was not disappointed. Chuck was very professional, and honest. He did fix the problem at hand, but did say he needed a few days to find the actual deep down cause of the problem so we will bring the car back very soon. He got the car back on the road, and I felt very at ease talking to him. He is very down to earth, and to the point. He is a mechanic you can send your kids or wife to and not worry about getting gouged or sold services that are not needed. Now granted they are a bit short handed right now, but they will get the job done. I feel like I have found a new mechanic, Also Thank you to Amber who answered the phone and got me in.Service: Battery service

All around amazing shop!! Some of the nicest and most up front people I ve ever met. Aside from excellent customer service, there s no one I would trust more with my car. They got me in quickly and not only fixed my electrical issues, but made sure everything else on the car looked good. They even gave me a heads up on what I will be having to replace next! The shop was very accommodating and got me in for the afternoon wheel alignment as a walk-in customer. Prices were reasonable and no nickle and diming me on service. What they quoted on the verbal estimate was honored and their follow-up after care was very impressive. The owner actually reads the reviews and was very responsive to my minor concern regarding the alignment printout. He immediately replied with apologizing for not having that attached to my receipt and quickly sent me my copy they had on record. He also awarded me a FREE oil change for my concern. I will definitely return for care at this shop.Service: Wheel alignment

Paid $40 just to get my transmission checked when the guy said at first he wouldn t need to cause he knows it s no leak but then still has me pay to get it checked anyways. How are you gonna act like an expert but then still want me to pay to get it checked? Waste of time & lil $40 tbh. Also I ve been getting the run around since I came to get my car checked. Was suppose to get a call back for my car & never did. Idk if they want money or not that s crazy

I did have a problem with the transmission of my 2013 Nissan Murano and another shop troubleshoot the problem and I was told I needed a new transmission the price was $4,600 plus tax.I then took the car to A. G. Automotive & Diagnosis at 6824 Aura Ave, Reseda, CA 91335 and Chuck fixed the vehicle at a fraction of the price because the vehicle did not need a new transmission.Chuck thank you very much for all of your help and the way you professionally took care of my car and the great communication.Ones again thank you very muchService: General repairs & maintenance

My car - Dodge Charger R / T made a strange noise in the engine 2 weeks ago.I brought it to A.G. Automotive & Diagnosis and this is definitely the best decision. I have been going to A.G Automotive for almost 3 years now, when I got my newer car I made sure to let Chuck and the crew keep it in tip-top shape. I love to talk to everybody here and the prices are more than fair. Chuck has never done me wrong and I appreciate all that he has done for my car. Can't reccomend them more

This place has my business from now on! The best experience I've ever had with a mechanic. In the past, I've encountered sleazy mechanics who have tried to rip me off because I'm a young woman, and its made me very wary of trying out new places. But not here! Fast, friendly, and fair prices! Would recommend to anyone. Oh, and Michelle is hilarious!

It's simply the best service shop I've been to. Professional and courteous staff. I Had some serious issues with my engine, tried 2 other shops prior A.G. and they couldn't solve the problem. Chuck diagnosed my pickup truck, found the problem and fixed it in a timely manner. For a reasonable price, too!

Wheel bearing...how could one part cause so much noise, my ears were ringing. A.G Automotive found the issue quickly and charged a fair price. I am happy to have found them. My Focus ST is happy too.

A.G. Automotive is by far the best auto diagnosis and mechanic in the San Fernando Valley. Their lead Master mechanic Chuck is extremely experienced and is able to diagnose the hardest of Engine and Electrical issues on just about every make and model. I took in my Porsche Panamera S to A.G. for their Oil and Lube service recently and was in and out in a flash. The car is purring now but it was not always the case. A few years back the engine seized and I was fortunate enough to be referred to A.G. for a tow in diagnosis. Chuck was so excellent in figuring out what the issue was that Porsche North America had little argument against a manufacturer defect and ended up covering a $16,000 repair. Prices are very fair and low for the level of expertise that you are getting. Highly recommended, especially when you don't know what is wrong with your car and need an honest mechanic to fix it for you.Service: Oil change

My wife scheduled a last minute brake and oil change for me. He waited for me to bring in my car close to after hours, so that he could be able to work on it the next morning. He did an amazing job! You just earned yourself a permanent customer. Thank for taking care of my Truck Chuck!!!

Came in to get oil changes for both mine and my wife s car and had an electrical problem looked at on my wife s car! They got us in early, got my car out fast and took care of all of the problems on my wife s car by the next day! All in all they were great at AG auto !Plus they recommended a great smog check guy !Services: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Battery, Oil change
