So disappointed! I got my oil changed and the car care. I specifically called out to check my brakes-- and the guy said of course, part of the car care. They called (which was great) and told me that I had a running oil leak and I needed to go elsewhere to get this fixed. I again, asked if my brakes needed anything. They said that they checked the brakes and they were good. When I got the gasket changed, they also had to change the rear brakes because it was "metal against metal". They mentioned that it was good that I came in because it was getting dangerous. They showed me what it should be and then showed me my brakes. UGH-- this means that this wasn't checked even though they said it was. I wonder if the oil was actually changed when they said it was...

I honestly don t understand these reviews. Jose at Wheel Works saved a whole trip for us by getting me in right away on a Sunday, finding a screw, replacing the tire with a full size spare (my tire was not available anywhere in town), and back on the road all within 2 hours! He was SO kind and a TOTAL problem solver!! Thank you, Jose, so much!

I went for an oil change that it was supposed to be $30. I left 6h later paying $870. The manager called me twice with "so many things that had to be fixed ASAP!" Had a hard time explaining them. All he could say was "fix it now or you will have to come back ASAP". Hard to believe. Never going again. Really bad.

Manager is clearly a misogynist he manage to insult both me *and* my wife. While pressuring me into a "3 year" wheel alignment package (what the heck do I need THAT for?), he said that the car may need a re-alignment during that period if my "wife ran over the curb". My wife is actually a very good driver and never "runs over the curb". Maybe *his* wife is a horrible driver, but it's insulting that he assumes *all* wives are. Then he said we needed significant brake service (4 rotors and a couple of pads), quoted a cost of ~$1500. I went outside, called my regular mechanic, and verified that they could do the work for much less. When I declined brake service, the Manager thought that I had called my wife -- so, as part of pressuring me to get the brake work done, he had the audacity to insist that I, as "the man of the house", should be "the one making all the decisions about our cars". Yet, as "man of the house", I *had* made the decision to not use his shop for brake work. In one sentence, he had insulted both me *and* my wife. I was firm about declining the service but did not show how ticked-off I felt.I was not happy, not happy at all. I don't plan to return to this Wheel Works location unless there is a problem with the alignment they performed.

I showed up in an emergency because this was the closest location, even though I had lousy experiences with it before. Unlike previous visits, the staff was courteous and competent. They did the work within a reasonable period with a good attitude, kept me informed, and did not try to sell me any services I didn't need. I think it must be under new management.

I should have, seeing the terrible Google Maps reviews, not ignored my better judgement, and gone to Wheel Works for service. I should have gone elsewhere instead. After requesting a tire replacement, and Wheel Works performed such a tire replacement, my car has now become rather wobbly to the point of feeling motion sickness while driving. It even felt better while a spare tire was in use in comparison to now. And after informing Wheel Works of this, and going back to them to fix the issue, they keep on saying that they're unsure how long it'll take to diagnose the issue - that they know they messed up, but that they're busy. Honestly, I'd avoid the trouble of going to Wheel Works in the future, and go elsewhere if you'd like your car fixed or serviced.

Hello, my name is Josue,I would like to express my sincere honesty in customer service. I want to bring this up because I would like to see a difference in customer service and staff accountability. I have a complaint due to the unprofessionalism, I requested an alignment and didn't get it even after trying for two or three days. I even made an appointment and yet didn't get done. I don't understand why staff is so irresponsible to supply a service that is demanded from a customer. I also noticed the unprofessionalism of getting the job done, there was another customer who was getting a refund due to the inaccuracy of getting what she asked for.By the way, these comments are for a supervisor! Please take action and avoid losing clients.

Worst service ever.Don t know why I went back.Hoping things would have changed. After 8 hours to change 4 tyre s work still not completed.David is the worst person to deal with and I would never go back because he just gives excuses and lies instead of saying I am sorry I messed up.I wish I had read Winston s and other 1 star reviews below. And while driving my car is wobbling on the road since wheel alignment and wheel balance was not done after committing and confirming that it would be done.

My car wouldn't start and I had to have a friend give me a jump. Wheel Works was great. Checked my battery and at my request tested my alternator too. Got a new battery installed quickly and warned me about a Honda security feature that would lock out my radio until I entered a security code (I had that with my owner's documentation in my glove box). Friendly and prompt service so that I could get back to work.Service: Battery

A very poor experience. Made an appointment for a 2:00PM tire rotation and alignment. Arrived at approximately 1:50PM to provide enough time to check-in and complete paperwork. At around 3:15PM or an hour and a half after being onsite, I noticed my vehicle had not moved from its original parking space. When I inquired about estimated time of completion, I was told the shop was busy and my car would be pulled in around 4:00PM or two hours after my schedule appointment. My only other option was to return the next week. I ended up leaving as I had other scheduled appointments that afternoon.Below are some actionable feedback based on the terrible experience.1) Stop taking appointments if times cannot be honored. Reading between the lines, it was hinted appointments times are more a "we'll try but make one at your own risk"2) Communicate if the scheduled time cannot be met. People are generally okay with rescheduling as long as it's done so promptly so other arrangement can be made.3) Set expectations at check-in. At no time was a "backed up" shop or estimated completion time provided. Had the information been provided upfront, I could have rearranged my day.4) Once again, communicate. If a customer is seen sitting around after an hour, provide an update. Being left in the dark and having the customer try and piece the puzzle together is very frustrating. At no time should I have been the one to chase down information5) Update your systems. I was shocked so much is still being done with handwritten work orders. Having consulting in the auto industry, the move toward computerized systems was set in motion a decade and a half ago. Newer platforms can manage capacity, automatically provide updates to the customers, alert service advisors when something is overlooked, reduces human error, and cuts overheads costs due to increased efficiencies.A last piece of advice. Whomever installed the computer system made a mistake. The laser printer is plugged into one of the battery backed receptacle on the UPS (uninterruptable power supply). Laser printers should never be plugged into an outlet that draws power from the battery. It should go into a "surge only" port. Continuing to use this misconfiguration can damage the printer, battery, computer, and other devices on the UPS. The hint is the UPS alarm going off right before the printer starts a job.Service: Tires

They never open on time. It is 7:28am as I write this message and they open at 7:00a.m. The service is fine, their time management is unreliable.

Dropped off my car for a oil change and found my car was left unsecured. Key fob was left in the car, worker at the counter had no idea where the key fob was located when I arrived to pay and pickup. Car could have easily been driven away. Thankfully I only left my key fob, can't imagine the damage this could have caused if I left my house keys attached. Vehicle theft could happen anywhere and the fact who ever serviced my car was reckless to have left the key fob behind makes me question their quality of work.

I can t give more than 2 stars as they forgot to verify the new tires pressure : 32 psi instead of 45 psi required. My car warned me only after a couple of miles (time it takes to reset the reading of the pressure gauge I guess) just before I started skidding when taking a 90 turn. I m lucky the road was dry and free of debris. Another clue that they didn t complete the job: the caps were missing. No hard feeling, just facts to motivate you to improve quality of service.

Don't go here.I took my car in for an alignment. When I showed up there was a huge dent in the side of my car, they claim to just not know what happened. The car was parked in their parking zone, way over to the side. There's no way someone's door could have hit it, and even if it did the dent is 6 inches long -- not at all what you'd get from a door. Their equipment has a bunch of metal plates sticking out that are just about this size, I bet they just ran it into one of those.Their computers were down, so I had to walk home and get a receipt to avoid being changed again. On top of it all, when I get back the alignment is still way off. I'm just worse off than when I started: I took in a car with bad alignment, now I have bad alignment have to figure out this dent.I'd have been better off just doing nothing all day.

The best part of coming in at 7:30am is to try and beat the crowds - which you can do. The only issues is that all 3 guys working in the bay took a 30min breakfast burrito break only after being open an hour. I typically eat before going to work - but I guess at Wheel Works you can make 5 other people wait and watch you finish up your delicious breakfast burrito. Other than that - the tires are filled with air and are not falling off so far.

I went because my tires were under warranty and I just needed one repaired. I bought a full set from them a few years ago and was happy with the service. They wouldn t honor the warranty. New staff? They claimed I needed four new tires. They drove off in my truck to go get replacement tires they said would be delivered. I almost called the police when I saw the mechanic leaving with my car. Needless to say I left when I got my car back. And will never return.Service: Tires

$85 to replace the low beam left-hand side of my Hyundai Elantra 2013 by an unlicensed technician who was not familiar with my vehicle and spoke very limited English. The original quote was $30 for labor. Bulb purchased separately for $20.Pricing is not transparent. Wait time is not as expected , andUnprofessional service experience. 2 weeks ago, I had the right low beam bulb replaced for $20 labor only, by a mechanic (Fred) in Mountain View (San Antonio/California). He quoted me $45 labor if it had been the left low beam.Save time, money, and for peace of mind go elsewhere for your automotive needs.P.S. I posted a review on the #wheelworks Twitter site, and I was blocked ( ) . They are affiliated with #Bridgestone.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE.You may get low quality work and be ripped off, like me.I came in with a simple job to swap tires. In the end, I was met by rude staff and shoddy work. I paid extra to have the TPMS system reset on my car. The next day the light goes on again. I bought a small tool from Amazon and confirmed they hadn t reprogrammed the system at all. Then I found out my tires were all set to different pressures. Maybe if they had spent more time working on my car instead of having long personal conversations in the bay after I had paid and still waited 15 mins before they finished, it wouldn t have happened. They also up sold me for a brake job where they flushed the brake lines. When I got home and checked my records, a flush had been done just 20k miles earlier. You only need that done every 60k miles AT THE MOST.Don t come here if integrity and quality service are important to you.

After coming in for just an alignment and being told I needed work that "had" to be done, I was charged three times the price of the parts for steering work, tie rod ends, for a total markup of $260, just for the parts. This is after being told that they don't get their parts from O'Reilly's, literally in the same building, because they are "too expensive." In fact O'Reilly's, and even Mazda, charged a two-thirds less as I later discovered. Further, the car was taken apart before the parts arrived and I was essentially held captive for hours while the part supposedly came from their supplier--across the bay, when I'd been told it would only be another hour when I approved the work. Worse, I was initially told it was the tie rods themselves, and in fact it was only the tie rod ends, meaning my quick phone search to check the price was rendered useless, as the ends were about half the price. A complete outrage to charge such a markup, and I don't think the labor charge was fair for the time the work would have taken.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I called to schedule an appointment for a full service on my vehicle. When the person answered I began to ask him about it and he hung up on me. I thought it possibly was an accident so upon calling back the phone rang several times then picked up and hung up again tried several times and the same thing happened over and over. This store will not get my business or recommendation. Person to person is the best and worst advertisement!

I am so grateful to Mike for his excellence in service. I brought in my car earlier and the damage to my tire had not been corrected. In fact, the lovely woman at the desk noticed that not only was there a nail, but also there was a slash in the tire. So he recommended immediately that I get a new tire.I am very grateful to Mike for handling this challenging situation, which could have been dangerous for me, and helping me find a solution. Thank you!Service: Tires

Checked in with David, whom said his mechanic would check my spark plugs and spark plug wires, came to pick up my car few hours later, David said his mechanic checked my spark plugs and wires and that the spark plugs and wires were perfectly installed, wrong my car was misfiring and turns spark plugs and wires were installed incorrectly David said that the spark plugs were installed correctly but that I had a blown head gasket, and charged me $110.00 dollars for a bogus diagnostic, David and his crew of mechanics are a bunch of crooks, took my truck to another shop and the other shop said my spark plugs were installed incorrectly and wires were crossed,David lied to me to make a commission told me I needed a new motor, wrong again David.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I've had good experiences at this Shop. So I was pretty surprised when reading some of the negative reviews. The shop team along with Victor have been great. Although they do get busy, they get the job done. There was one instance that I needed a tire fixed. It was late afternoon on a Sunday. I noticed a nail in the back passenger tire. I couldn't wait to get it fixed the next day, because I had to be at work that night and my commute to work was about an hour. I called Wheel Works, spoke to Victor and explained my situation. He assured me that even though they were closing in 45 minutes he would wait to help me out. Who does that? Obviously not many, but a good shop with happy employees does.Thank you Wheel works team and Victor!

Do I really have to give a star???? I went there with my car that barely made it to the shop without shutting down. They checked the battery and I was told that they were bringing a new one.... literally 2 hrs later I was told they sent the wrong battery and that the one my car has is RARE, that the only place that had it was Stockton and instead of the previous charge of $159, I would end up paying double. Well I almost went with it because I really need my car to go to school and get my kids. A mechanic friend told me to tell them that never mind and to place my battery back and recharge it. Well they said they don t recharge batteries but they will power it enough for me to get home which is a few blocks away... they did not like the fact that I refused to pay double and to make them put my battery back... turns out Costco has my kind of battery for $80!!!!!!! Yeah it s smaller and different brand but that was the battery in their manual book. My friend placed it and my car sounds like new!!!!!! PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE NOT GETTING RIPPED OFF and get info before paying. They can tell when someone is in a desperate situation and are fast to take advantage of anyone!!!!!!!

DO NOT TAKE LOWERED CAR HERE!The store manager that was on duty the day I went gave great service, and ensured me that the car was gonna be treated right, later called me saying my car wouldn t be able to get on the alignment machine because my car was too low from my coilovers(IMO my car is not even close to low). Went to a different shop for an alignment where I thought no way I was going to get up there considering these guys couldn t, got up perfectly fine. Don t know what happened at wheelworks but don t want to give a 1-star because the office service was great.

I recently went in to get my brakes done. I called and they were nice, we established a price and they asked me to bring it in and that it would only take a couple hours to get done .When i went in, the guy quoted me $450 and he said that was with rotors. That was three times the amount they originally quoted me. The guy at the front desk seemed upset but also like to try to work with me at the same time. He very nicely said they'll do a brake inspection, that it would take about 45 minutes and I'll get my work done after. So i dont know if they felt they needed to retaliate, but the guys let my car sit there for two hours. I made it to the shop 10 minutes before they open but they let three customers go ahead of me. I saw the first gentlemen talking to his coworker and laughing about how he's just making me wait. I grabbed my keys and left. Very unprofessional of them. I took a day off of work just to get my work done here. It sounded like theyd take care of me at first. They should have a staff audit at this location and rehire accordingly

I will always recommend friends and family to this place. I am extremely happy with the service I received yesturday. Regardless of how busy they were, the level of professionalism did not alter. Victor helped meet all our needs financially and information wise. The price range is just right and the wait time on a Saturday for a walk in was unexpectedly quick. If you need tires and service on your vehicle, this is the place to come to.

I took in my car for a valve cover gasket replacement and in the middle of it they had called me. Said I needed to replace the aluminum screws for the cover and gave me the price of $80 (x3 the amount I can get from another store). I said yes, because I needed the car done. After they gave the car back to me, I drove home and opened up the hood. Found they forgot to reinstall my cabin air filter.... Do not come here. They charge you more than the average amount and don't bother to completely finish the service.

I called on Friday to book the car in for a front and rear pad and rotor replacement. I specified the make and model and asked that the parts be ordered in advance to minimize the wait time. I was very clear that the car was an Audi SQ5 and even went so far as to specify the rotor diameters for the front and rear to be doubly sure that the quote given was correct and the right parts ordered.I arrived Monday morning and left the car. At 10.30am I received a call from Victor to tell me that my car had the "big brakes" and that it would be about $400 more than the quote. I informed him that the quote I asked for was for an SQ5 and that there is only one rotor size available for the SQ5 and that was the big ones, so I was not happy that he had given me the wrong information previously.I informed him that he could go ahead and do the rear pads/rotors but to put the original parts back on the front and that I would source the job elsewhere as their price adjustment was well above other quotes I had.I picked up the car in the afternoon and when i was in the store the manager informed me that there were in fact 3 rotor options for the SQ5 and that mine we just the expensive ones. I again informed the staff that there is only one rotor option for the SQ5. The manager also claimed that my car had the big calipers with 6 pistons, In fact it has 2 pistons...I paid, left and noticed a noise from the brakes but put it down to new rear pads and rotors bedding in.The next morning I noticed a considerable noise, this time clearly coming from the front right, a kind of knocking noise when the brakes were applied and a similar noise when coasting as well. It was clear that something was not correct.I went back to the shop that morning and informed the manager (Stephen) that there was something wrong and it needed to be resolved. He asked that I leave the car with them until the afternoon, I stated that I wanted to be present while they were resolving the issue because it was clear from he previous interactions that they had made some errors with the brakes. He informed me that I could not watch from inside the workshop but I was allowed to do so from the outside. I agreed and we were discussing the timeframe to get the car into the shop (Stephen wanted me to wait 3 hours) when all of a sudden a man identifying himself as the regional manager appears from the back office area and told me that I was not welcome in the store and that I had to leave. To say i was stunned is a big understatement. I was literally in the process of resolving the issue with Stephen when this person interrupted and demanded that I leave the shop. I walked out and he followed me outside, threatened to "beat me" and at one point he walked up to me and pushed his nose into my nose in an extremely threatening manner. It was simply the most threatening experience I have ever had in a shop or anywhere for that matter. I left and called your head office to report the matter. I am awaiting a call from the NorCal manager as I type this. There will be video from inside the shop to confirm the above.
