Oh my God these guys are great. They are capable and honest. I'd bought a '73 Honda CL350 that wasn't running and they got it all sorted in less than a day. The good news? I've found a trustworthy mechanic. The bad news? Now I feel ok buying more old bikes (the next will be an 80s K100RS) and they'll get a lot more of my money!

When you find a good mechanic you stick with them. I've been having trouble finding one for over 3 years until I met Sean. Knowledgeable, straight forward & honest to say the least. Throw in reasonable to that pile & I'd say you have a good description of this guy. I brought in my Triumph Speed Triple that was having issues with the throttle response & after a couple tries it was fixed better than new. Suspension overhaul & a Racetech valving upgrade, voila! He even set up my suspension for my weight & riding style which was the best part of my repair list. Which happened to be longer than I thought. Each repair request was handled professionally & quite frankly reasonable. Yes I'm picky & rightfully so. He, unlike many others understood that & treated me with respect & didn't dumb it down like it was my first rodeo. Thanks again for everything Sean! Now get yourself some Armin Van Buren & let me know what you think.

If you are in need of someone you can trust to work on your ride, there is no better choice. Reliable, fast, affordable and great at what he does.Building a relationship with a mechanic is difficult these days. Finding a good one who works on BMW and other motorcycles is near impossible. My K1200LT was having troubles, making strange sounds. Sean not only identified and fixed the problem, he innovated and built parts no longer around. Another time, Sean replaced my break pads while I waited. And just last week, he swapped out and balanced my tires on short notice. And replaced a battery.Thank you Sean! Made it to Texas twice (on time) because of your work.Services: Tires, Engine repair, Brake service & repair, Battery, Oil change

I took my k1200s after a crash there; Sean fixed all the issues within a few days. If I had taken it to the dealer, it would have taken much longer and cost a lot.

Excellent service. Sean was very kind to accommodate a last minute service requirement and did a great job. He is wonderful to talk to- about suspension, the local roads and riding in general. Will definitely be banking on his expertise in the future.Update - Recently had the 36K miles service done on my 1200GS. Excellent work done by Sean and team. A very happy customer.

So glad I found these guys. My new (to me) R100 wouldn't start a few miles away and I was stuck at work. After chatting with Greg for a few minutes he simply asked for the keys and told me he would get in touch in a few days. He came back with a list of things he had to do, things he wanted to do, and things I wanted to do. Simple, approachable, and the price for the save and the repair was less than it would have cost to tow it to him with any of the tow companies who quoted me! Bike is happy and I am happy knowing I have this resource available for future modifications and repairs.

Sean just did a mount and balance for my r1200gs. He was quick and efficient and I was able to have it done while I waited. He took care not to mar my rim and was meticulous about getting the balance spot on. Sean provides excellent service for BMW, Triumph, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, and KTM bikes in Redwood City. He s priced very competitively and well below the name brand dealerships. Give him a call for your next motorcycle service.

Outstanding service!! Professional, courteous, kind and knowledgeable. Sean and his team are true craftsman in their field. They really take pride in the work they do and it shows from start to finish. Hands down best BMW mechanics in the Bay Area

Sick of getting raked over the coals at the dealership? Sick of half@$$ repair work by someone who doesn't care about your bike? So am I. That's why Sean is the only person in the Bay Area I am comfortable leaving my BMW with. I hate having anyone work on my bike. I try and do most of it myself. But some things just exceed my comfort/skill level. That's when I take my bike to Sean. He's an extremely experienced BMW mechanic who actually seems to have a passion for what he does. He takes pride in his work and wrenches on your bike as if it was his own. That is why I really only feel comfortable having him work on my bikes.

Came with a 2011 S1000RR with a strange surging problem. It s a professional shop with a relaxed and personalized experience. Sean is a passionate mechanic who really cares about your ride. Definitely recommend him for anything you need for your motorcycle - regular maintenance or a complicated diagnostic and repair. Sean will take good care of you and your bike!

Came by with my 2014 Triumph Street Triple R. I immediately noticed Sean is extraordinarily fast and thorough, and very helpful with explaining his work. Plus the man's got great protips for the road. 5/5, definitely recommend the Undealership for anyone looking for work on their BMW or Triumph.

Really wanted to try out this shop and support a independent repair place but their communication is lacking to put it mildly.I spoke with someone on the phone October 13th, caught them a little after their officially posted hours when I was just expecting to leave a message. On the phone we discussed the work I needed done (a clutch cable replacement), that it was my only mode of transportation, and that I did not have the part in hand. They had no quote on the part or any estimate on timeframe or logistics and said we would talk tomorrow since they were out the door, they would look up the part either that night or tomorrow morning, fair enough.I received no follow up call, text, or email. Being that I needed my bike up and running for work on the 15th after hearing nothing back I brought my bike elsewhere that happened to have the cable in stock.October 18th I receive a text and the following conversation unfolds,UnDealership"Yo Brian! Your clutch cable is here. Can you get your bike to my shop on Wednesday?"Me"Hey. Actually since I hadn't heard anything back I already brought it elsewhere. Being that it is my only mode of transportation I couldn't wait without an eta."UnDealership"I told you I was going to order it for you?????""Did you receive it yet?"Me"Last we spoke I was told you would call back in the morning to talk details since you were on your way out the door."UnDealership"I ordered it that following morning to the....whatever, doesn't matter. Bye"This is simply rude and unprofessional. I want to feel bad that they ordered a part that they likely won't use (special model bike) but the fact that they just *assumed* they had my business with no follow up and then treated me like I was the villain and in the wrong is just uncalled for. Based on other reviews I am sure they do good work but that doesn't mean much if they can't communicate like adults and be held to any sort of a standard.Update (response): At least the owner can promptly reply to criticism even if they can't keep you apprised to potential business-related updates. Their response is in line with what you can find from other low star reviews, they are childish, uneducated, and try to 'white knight' when challenged. Feel free to read other reviews yourself and you will see it clear as day. Thank you for at least confirming the authenticity of the complaint at least (despite twisting the facts).

Exceptional work in terms of quality, thoroughness, and fairness on my R1100R that is almost 25 years old. I can't recommend this shop enough and will happily be a repeat customer. The bike will probably be running forever thanks to the skills of the mechanic.

Sean is honest, fair, kind and knowledgeable everything you need in a mechanic. Most of all he tries his best and at a fair price. Thank you for all your help

I think he has gotten too busy to really care about each individual job. His service has gone down the drain. He has become The UnDealership more in the sense of treating his customers terribly.Unfortunately there was no way to reply to your comment below except by editing mine, so here is my reply...You worked on it and the tone in your reply says it all. It just proves how rude of a person you are to your customers.

I've taken both my bikes here and have always been pleased by the service. I used to question whether or not I should keep getting BMW motos because servicing them is such a pain in the ass and so expensive, but Sean keeps them purring without breaking the bank.

Sean saved my hundreds of dollars by sending off to Germany for my broken BMW part, then repaired a small belt pulley by hand to get it working again vs charging me over $600 for a new one. Thanks!
