Meineke Redwood City with owner Lupe is an excellent guy to work with; We have taken our cars to him for the last 30yrs and he has done a great job servicing our cars with his team. My last visit to him few weeks ago with my BMW car ; he fixed my rear brakes ; We happy to see he always did a great job along with his pricing was fair. Thank you Lupe for your service.

I m new to the Menlo Park area and was in search of a solid and reliable place to take my 2021 Audi for a change of breaks. I contacted this place on a last minute need (my rear break was metal on metal) and the guys here were not just extra accommodating but also super professional, Ivan (owner I believe) and his son, were able to get me in the next morning on a Saturday after calling them 20 mins before closing the night before. They did everything possible to help me, did a great job on the car, and did I mention how reasonable their price are?Look no further if you want reliable and best value for your money, you will be pleased.

They always do Great work !! They have Great prices. What I like most of all is there Honesty !!! They are very Trust Worthy in their work and about what u need for your automobile. I have been going to thus shop for at least 13 plus years. This place is Awesome Blossom

Update as of 12/30/23. Same car w 200k miles needed a new transmission, water pump and radiator. All just deferred maintenance on an old truck. As always, labor rate was fair at $150/hr and service was done in a timely manner. Truck should be good for another 100k mi.Took my son s 2001 Toyota Tundra here for rough running engine. Local Toyota dealership suggested replacing both catalytic converters for nearly $4000. Lupe found a problem with two coils/spark plugs and fixed everything for under $500. He even pressure tested everything to make sure it wasn t a CC issue.Great service. Fast. Reasonably priced.Service: Auto engine tuning

Lupe and his team do a great job. They repaired the exhaust on my 1986 VW Paragon and it's now quieter than it's been for many years. Friendly, knowledgeable service at a very good price.

Took my 2005 Toyota Highlander V6 to Meineke Redwood City to have a new pair of catalytic converters installed. They did a superb job & had to modify an oxygen sensor port & one exhaust flange interface to make it all fit. Most muffler shops could not have done this, but they did it for a reasonable price. ** Update May '23, took my van in for some work today, was given an honest assessment including what I needed immediately and what I could stretch out. A+ for honesty and very decent price** Initial review, had them switch out my lightbulb with zero notice on my behalf, at what I believe was a decent price. Will be back again to give these guys a try for my next service.

Lupe and his team do a great job with my VW. I have been visiting his shop since moving to the area 5 years ago and he alway manages to fix my early 2000s VW. Lupe is courteous and lets me know what needs to be fixed right away and what we can plan to fix later. Receiving options is always helpful for my budget. I highly recommend this Meineke shop. The garage is very popular so be sure to call ahead and schedule a drop off day/time. If you just bring your car in and drop it off with no appointment, it may be a few days before he can look at it because they are booked and busy. I have known about Lupe's shop for a long time, I want to say 20 years or more. When I was a kid I would come along with my dad whenever our family cars needed work, and now I bring my own. I became reacquainted with Lupe a few years ago when my 1999 E55 had what sounded like an exhaust leak. I took it to 4 or 5 different shops up and down the Peninsula, Euro specialist shops and exhaust specific shops, and nobody could figure out what was causing the noise. The last shop I took it to finally suggested I head to Meineke on Middlefield, and the light bulb went off in my head. I was kicking myself for not bringing it to Lupe in the first place. He diagnosed a worn out catalytic converter in a very short amount of time and had a new one welded in soon thereafter. At a very reasonable price too. Another time I had a pickup truck with a very annoying rattle in the front end that I couldn't pinpoint. I brought it to Lupe and we went on a test drive around the block with the windows down. He heard the noise, said it was probably one of the bolts holding the right front shock in place being loose, and found exactly that when he put it up on the lift a few minutes later. I was beyond impressed, and grateful for another cheap fix. Most recently he has done spark plugs & wires, a thermostat, and a temperature sensor in my 1995 Corvette, which can be a tricky car to work on. These are just a few examples from my personal experience with Lupe and his guys. His work is excellent and so are his prices. And he's a really nice guy too.

Great set of guys who do good work at a reasonable price. They fabricated twin midpipes for my E30. I was on the road again in two hours. I'll be taking care all of my exhaust/welding needs here.

These guys are awesome! The shop itself is underwhelming, but from the amount of cars they had there, they know what they re doing and they are BUSY. I was quoted $1700 from the dealer and Lupe saved me about $800. He had my car done on time. No hassles, no upsells. He was a genuinely nice person. It was great. Lupe and his team did a great job of replacing my engine thermostat and sensor quickly at a very reasonable price. After dropping off my GM Sierra in the morning, the team kept me updated on the cost and completed the job on rime. I was skeptical at first. But Lupe was quick and understanding. Clearly super busy, but he was able to squeeze in a quick appointment to diagnose my breaks. At the end he explained to me that the car dealerships try to squeeze as much money out of you to get you to get brake pads replaced. He explained that I didn't need to get a repair done, as my worst axel's brakes are still safely operational for AT LEAST 10K (the opposite of what the mazda dealership said).I really appreciated the honesty. I will definitely be back once the time comes.

Edit: 2 years later - they fixed my engine mounts (thankfully, NOT a transmission problem) & installed new brake pads, and gave me a substantial returning customer discount. Nothing but love for Lupe and his team at Meineke RWC.I have been to this Meineke twice, once for a loud buzz that I thought was an exhaust system problem (it was), and most recently for shuddering front brakes. Each time my mechanical issues were fixed competently, quickly, and for far less money than I had expected to be charged. I stopped by Redwood City,CA location to have my exhaust looked at and a quote. The quote was very reasonable and I was able to drop my car off that night and picked up next day after work. The guys were very pleasant and professional. Grateful for the speedy service. My car is running great !!
