I have now known Ernie for over 6 years and can say without any hesitation that he is the best service advisor I have ever worked with! We own many other European car brands and deal with many dealerships. No service advisor is as caring, honest and detail oriented than Ernie. Honestly, he single handily makes us loyal to the brand and they are super lucky to have him. Thank you Ernie!!

Review: I recently purchased a used car from this dealership, and unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. Despite their claims of thorough inspection and great condition, the car I purchased had a significant water leak from the roof. When I reached out to the dealership regarding this issue, their response was shockingly dismissive, stating they had nothing to do with it.This kind of disregard for customer satisfaction is completely unacceptable and showcases a lack of integrity on the part of dealership . I would strongly advise anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from them to proceed with extreme caution.

Lance took a tremendous amount of time both with me and my car to nail down and fix the really unusual and bizarre issue my Defender was having. Plus he kept me in the loop the whole time. It was an extremely positive experience.

I bought a vehicle from Land rover in Redwood city. It car immediately had issues. The first issue i had got fixed without a problem. The second one, the gm doesn't want to be responsible. I quote " its not a saftey issue so Idk what I want to do. I might not pay or I might pay half. I haven't decided what i want to do." I really had no problem with the l problems the car was because they are fixable. What i had a big problem with, was one of the managers made me sign my right to cancel my contract with them without my knowledge. He listed each section of paper work on a tablet and NEVER mentioned anything about forfeiting my right to cancel. The parts I did read didn't have anything listed of that sort. What I didn't check was how many pages it skipped before it electronically asked for any signature. Again, I was not told I was signing anything of that sort. I only found out because a different dealer told me I had the right to cancel the terms should be in my contract. When I pulled the contract out. There it was, I had forfeited my right. I never even wanted to return the vehicle but that's besides the point.

I purchased a 2019 Cadillac Escalade from them in May of 2023. I was told that the car was checked out and ready to go. I paid cash and when I was with the financial officer, I questioned a dent insurance that was included in the price of the car and said I didn t want it and I was told that all sales included this insurance and was led to believe that if I wanted the car I had to pay for the insurance. The cost of the insurance was $995.00. I was also over charged $562.85 in sales tax. When I discovered the sales tax over charged and brought it to the attention of the sales manager Eric, it was refunded. After bringing up what I was told about the dent insurance it was also refunded. Upon driving home, I realized there was something really wrong with the suspension on the car. I live 150 miles from this dealer so I took the Escalade to the local Cadillac dealer and it was found that the right rear shock and the left front strut were seized up. Both had oil all over them. For the car to be safe to drive they had to be replaced. The repair was $4531.71. The shocks and struts have electronic ride control built in and are therefore rather expensive. I called Eric and ask if they would pay for the repair because I was told by them the car was completely checked out. In the end Eric said that they would pay me $500.00 towards the repair. After numerous calls and promises I have yet to receive the $500.00. After nine months I have given up.03/07/2024Thank you, Erick and Terry! I have received the $500.00 check. I have raised my review from two stars to four stars. I cannot give five stars because I feel the issue should have been caught by the service dept.When I arrived at the dealership to pick up the car, I was greeted by Darren James whom I had dealt with on the phone. I had purchased the car over the phone. Darren and the staff at Land Rover Redwood City made me feel very welcome. I always felt like Erick was on my side, but did not have the final say on the repair refund.

First of all, this review is so long overdue, sorry LRRC had a few family emergencies to tend to .We ordered our 2024 Land Rover Defender in early 2023 and received it in October of 2023. It s not our first Land Rover , it s actually our fourth Land Rover purchase. We returned to LR Redwood City because of our previous interactions with the sales staff as well as the service department. We started our recent purchase with Lindsey Martin ( who by the way had the patience of a saint with my custom build order), she however went on to another position. At this point we had the pleasure to work with Darren James who we had worked with over the past several years. The purchasing process was an easy one with Abdullah, one of the sales managers explaining everything clearly. The defender has exceeded our expectations , but not surprised because it is a Land Rover product . The sales staff, (Darren James) and follow up service advisor (Jesus Villasenor) treatment has continued to meet or exceed our expectation's. All of our questions have been treated with urgency and they do everything in their power to attend to our needs.Thank you again LRRC for treating us with patience and professionalism.Barry & Diana Coyle

LRRWC are professionals when it came to service. I worked with Darren James over the last few months in trying to find a RR Sport and he followed up whenever one came around the dealership. He kept in touch to make sure my car search was going smoothly. Ultimately, an L405 became available and he set me up with an appt to check it out. The purchasing/negotiating process was smooth thanks to Darren and Adbullah. There was no pressure what so ever and they were willing to work my conditions. Absolutely worth giving them a ring if you're in search of any Land Rover.

Overall worst experience ever buying a used 2016 Range Rover from Redwood City Land Rover from the the Sales Dept (Marvin), Service Manager (Erick), and General Manager (Harris) they failed to satisfy a paying customer. Bought the used 2016 Range Rover without extended warranty a month ago trusting the fact the vehicle is coming from a LAND ROVER DEALERSHIP the vehicle suspension failed within 30 days and coolant light popped up. I talked to all 3 managers and they all stated they could do nothing but write up a 1500 bill. Very disappointed in the customer service and value of business done at Land Rover of Redwood City. Save yourself the hassle n go to Land Rover of SF or Land Rover SJ.Redwood City staff needs coaching in customer service and satisfaction.
